ha, that is on point. TO be honest I am an independent who leans to the left, but man I watch maybe 10 mins of Olberman just on his copverage of the democratic race, but he is by far partisan, and annoying with how he is over dramatic.
I also watch Oreilly, and even though I feel Oreilly is way overdramatic about stuff, olbermann takes the cake.
Boy, if only they had stuff like this on my SATs I could have gotten into Princeton.
This is a classic example of the saying that the bias in the press is not that they tell you want to think; the bias is that they tell you want to think about.
Here, Olbermann and Shuster want us to think about Giuliani and his use of 9/11 in a campaign ad.
They don't want us to think about Clinton doing the same thing.
Keith's a shameless partisan hack
Political neutrality he'll lack
"I'm not biased" he'll spew
Big lies? He's told a few
If you're (R) he's on the attack
Oh Please, Hillary posts that one little clip verses Rudy constantly running on 9/11. You cannot compare it, Rudy has made a career out of it. If 9/11 never occurred Rudy would not be running for president now.
Do you think the pole slippery shuister has shoved up his ass hurts?Honestly, it has to hurt--having a ploe that large shoved up one's ass---granted Slippery is in the words of W a majorly large asshole--but even still---a pole that large shoved up an asshole like slippery--well-------
Crawford's little Miss Sunshine line regarding Rudy is funny? Maybe some context might help here, but I'm not getting it.
Laura Ingraham's moniker for John Edwards (Silky Pony)is much funnier and no context is required--everybody gets it. I know it sticks in your craw anon, defender of the trial lawyers that you are. I think another good moniker for Edwards is Richie Rich, the Poor Little Rich Boy.
Pretty left of you ANON- proclaiming the demise of the US. You see a republican would argue differently.
"military, moral and economic "
We still are the military leaders by far... who would challenge? China? And they weren't considered strong militarily before 2001?
We still have the moral high ground- Moral ground is not measured by a vote in the UN. What are you a chavez fan too?
And our global economic demise was called 4 years ego when the european markets blazed past us.... temporarily. They are in shambles now. And how long has the asian economy been making huge growth gains.... long before 2001.
So as much as you'd like to write the obit of the USA and blame it on Bush... the republicans of this great country challenge you.
Baadeep, baadeep, baadeep, Govenor Romney, baadeep, do you think, baadeep, do you think, I sound like an idiot when, baadeep, baadeep, when I don't have all, nnnnnniighhhh...evening...baadeep, baadeep, to write my questions down?..
Olbermann and Matthews can be guaranteed to openly jeer and laugh at one or more Republican candidates per primary coverage. The fact that MSNBC insists on letting these two openly partisan hacks anywhere near their political coverage speaks volumes about how low the standards at NBC have fallen. At least they saw the light and won't let either of them host anymore debates. If someone at Fox or CNN had done the same (twice) to a Democratic candidate, the Kossacks would be demanding the networks be shut down. But let matthews & olbermann do it and they are celebrated as heroes (although Matthews is still on the ropes with the KosKids because of his comments regarding HRC last week).

Mr. blank-FLUCKER (cue OLD SPICE jingle).....your complaint about people not seeing Tiki's political affiliation is now laughable....
Rush Limbaugh is a self proclaimed conservative....a "right-winger." He is a free market capitalist, who exalts Ronald Reagan to the level of diety.....He reads Lincoln on his radio program every Thanksgiving, extoling the great influence God has had on our nation in the past through believers and decries the secularist trends we have seen since the 1940's. He also describes himself as pro-life.
Now if you doubt his sincerity, that is your right to do so.....however, to place your biased, unobjective and unsubstantiated belief as fact that Limbaugh is apolitical is illogical and not defensable.
The same is true of Olbermann. He has expressed radical leftist dogma as true....including the lies of decades of US hegemony. He also has decried the neoconservative movement as well as the beliefs of fundamentalist Christians. Combined, these positions are clearly those of radical leftists.
Also, his taking on the cause of voter fraud in the 2004 election, which was another pet project of the rapid left, is another sign of his political affiliation.
Again, if you think Olbermann is "acting," and doubt his sincerity, than that is your opinion and I ask for somekind of reasoning and evidence of your conclusion.
Olbermann is the left's Rush Limbaugh in the sense of his level objectivity and tactics. Limbaugh has a much larger audience and is more talented with regard to humor and satire....but that is an opinion.
Your analysis leaves many unanswered questions and is not backed up well....Frankly, I am surprised.

Olbermann, by all accounts, is largely apolitical.
It is the standard Olbermann defender argument that he is no worse than .... Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity..etc...It has been tried time and time again.
J$ needs to make a list of the top Olbyloon defense tactics. This one would be near the top of the list.
"Matthews is not partisan. He supported Bush. He has been highly critical of Senator Clinton."
Of course he's partisan. You think it was just an accident that he worked for Jimmy Carter and Tip O'Neil? And when did he ever support Bush on anything? He may be critical of Hillary, but that's because he's in love with Obama. Her more liberal challenger. Chris even said Obama's speeches made him cry. Good grief.
"Olbermann, by all accounts, is largely apolitical."

Saying Olbermann is apolitical is neither expressing a fondness for him nor defending him. In fact, in my book, it is rather a slam. I just don't see any evidence that Olbermann has any firm political beliefs, certainly no solid partisan home. Had we been in an era of Democratic control when Olbermann began his rise, and he saw rising conservatism on the horizon, I have no doubt he would have become have ridden that wave. He was looking for a niche.

Neither.
He's comedian, who's not very funny, doing satire.

If a Democrat takes office, he'll have to decide if he wants to report the news or have an hour of bashing Republics. The later will make his ratings suffer.
