It's official: New York Times Plans to Cut 100 Newsroom Jobs.
No word if Keith Olbermann's favorite flack intends to jump back over to MSNBC PR department.
OK. Just Kidding. He's not mentioned in the article and I have no idea what he is doing.
Olbermann's blog entry at the Daily Kos. Scroll down to see a fangirl love fest pencil drawing of Keith. (She drew about 75 pounds off his actual weight):

News, that girl must have it bad for KO if her portrait is how she sees him.
Those women are nothing more than groupies. How many men on Cable News Shows have such organized love, devotion and fantasizing about them as KO?
This is a serious question and I am going to do some fun googling.

Actually, I did have quite a thing for the "Scud Stud" back in the day... :D
The times must be down to a skeloton crew, combined with the layoff of a few months ago. "The paper of record" is swirling the drain!
skeleton crew, sorry loons.
Speaking of TV new personality infatuations....there was a woman who did the weather here in NYC back in the late 1970's/early 1980's.....
Linda Gialanella
My older brother and I had quite a thing for her......
Of course we were 15 and 11 at the time.
Ah......memories of puppy love!
I've been slack in my loonwatching duties of late due to family & work issues. So I want to thank the devoted posters here (News You Can Use--big shout-out to you) who keep tabs on them when I can't. They are amusing in their delusions aren't they? Someone needs to tell them that unless they are under 20, he's not going to be interested in them. But it is very amusing watching them get all tingly (like Chris Matthews for Obama) when he posts there isn't it?
Oh, and if little Brian is forced to hit the streets again, maybe he can take over the duties of Spud at ICN who has just announced his premature retirement from the blogging scene.
If to be a groupie I'd have to slant to Bernard Shaw, late of CNN.
He had that Ron Burgandy, deadly serious baritone and never smiled or showed emotion. Even his 'vortex of hell' comment during the Baghdad was pretty even keel.
Plus, he made it clear to his bosses he didn't want to be there for the war's start but he hung in anyway until he could drive out.
The following bit from that article tells people why the stock market is a faulty way to run an economy...
Shares in The New York Times Company rose almost 5 percent Thursday after the newsroom staff reductions were reported, closing at $18.84, up 86 cents.
It would be great if the stock market had a huge collapse that effected only MNC's

So goes the fate of all Talking Heads... :D
Your face must have one of those permanent scowls on it. Pissed off at the world 24/7 must be a shitty way to live.....
Thanks for the re-post.

Whatever happened to the "Scud Stud" from the Gulf War?

Even better, he hated NBC:
Let them make porn!
NEWLY FLUSH EX-SCUD STUD ARTHUR KENT SCOLDS TOM BROKAW AND GE FOR RUNNING NBC NEWS LIKE A BROTHEL.
BY MICHELLE GOLDBERG
"Kent himself doesn't have to worry much about money these days. He sued NBC for $25 million after being suspended from his job on "Dateline," and though he can't reveal the amount of his eventual settlement, he called it "terrific" and "a delightful amount of financial compensation." With it, he's moved to London and started his own documentary company, Fast Forward Films. "

And more importantly, he was cute... :D
He has a little "Kent Brockman from the Simpsons" thing going.

This one's for you, Killa....

Opps, I take it back.
On the Feb 14 the thread, Republican Killa seems to have decided that he's not a philosophy major, but instead has a associates degree in HVAC, and they are useful...

7:38 Was there a point, besides proving you are a liar? Tell us something we don't know, ok?
>How many men on Cable News Shows have such organized love, devotion and fantasizing about them as KO?
Anderson Cooper has his share of groupies, but KO's are crazier and more delusional, almost to the point of the ClayMates - Clay Aiken's fans.
From HuffPo, os all places:
There's a civil war among the Claymates in Claynation. Clay Aiken's rabid fans - who call themselves "Claymates" and say they live in "Claynation" - are at odds with each other over their former Idol. An insider said, "The war is between the batty members that are still clinging to their heterosexual fantasies of him and others that don't harbor such illusions."
For more Claynation love -

Poor New York Slimes. Why aren't more people buying bird cages?
But I don't think for one second that any of the hard core righties at this site would ever be non -partisan enough to vote anyone but a republican.

I assume you are BOBO. Are you not?
