As usual, J$, an excellent and concise presentation of the issue at hand....Olbermann's use of the word "pimp" was unprofessional and he has no gound to stand on in his apology on behalf of MSNBC or David Shuster.
I’m glad you included the comments by Olbermann on the Bush daughters. People are making a big deal over the "pimping General Petraeus" remark, but I think what Olbermann said about the twins may be even more offensive.
Keith referred to George Bush as a "pimp"
That makes Keith a pretty big wimp
David Shuster got spanked
Olberpimp got "great thanked"
Like Keith, Countdown's ratings are limp
A minor two-week suspension. Seems the clintons ain't what they use to be:

Shuster to Return To MSNBC Feb. 22
Breaking: NBC News president Steve Capus tells TVNewser David Shuster will return to MSNBC Friday, Feb. 22. That will mean a two-week suspension for Shuster who was taken off the air for using the phrase "pimped out" on a Feb. 7 broadcast of MSNBC's "Tucker". Shuster was describing Chelsea Clinton's role of calling superdelegates as part of her mother's Presidential campaign.

I think it's more likely that they've gotten all the mileage they can get out this silliness, the tide is now turning for Shusters, so they've relented and have told MSNBC that they will debate on the cable channel.
As if MSDNC didn't have enough problems with potty-mouthed droolers and "news" anchors who insult practically everyone, on the Today show a famous moonbat dropped the C-bomb for an audience of millions of soccer-mommies and grandmas. And no one in the control room bleeped it(just like they could have done for Imus). The I-Man has to be laughing at the buffoons in 30 Rock. Network management has been asleep at the switch for decades. A link to the incident follows.
Keith has criticized McCain all week long without even saying a criticizing word against Obama and Hilary. Bi-partisan journalism has no room in MSNBC.
Are Hilary and Obama perfect, is that why Keith is only going after McCain every night.
Dan Abrams said McCain flip-flopped but he did have a guest on his show that did not agree with his point of view. That's good and fair reporting.
Larry King also suggested McCain is changing positions but Larry did it to McCain face to face. Where at least McCain had a chance to respond.
How cowardly is it for Rachel Maddow to say that John McCain has no principles.
And where does Keith Olbermann come off saying John McCain is buying votes without not proof.
What kind of journalism is this? Where a reporter can attack a U.S. Senator, a war hero and a man running for president of the U.S. with out any rebuttal?
Is Keith trying to influence the vote of his viewers to vote against McCain?
Is that the job of MSNBC? To Change event and not report on them?
What right do Rachel and Keith have attacking Senator McCain, what have they done for this country.
Pointing out McCain faults as a candidate is fine by me but to question his principles, accusing him of buying votes and having an ugly picture of him on Keith's page is insulting to us vets, to McCain and to all journalist.
Could the Factor be a bigger genious? This wonderful person is always permanently stuck in brilliant.
He educates me on what the current issues are in this country.
Or maybe he does, and that's why he's afraid of speaking about them.
The factor: Always relevant and sensical.

The issues of today is that your party of cowards is prepared to let barbarian throat cutters plot against this country without being spied upon so that said barbarians can cut more Americans heads off on the internet. Your party of cowards would rather find out if a baseball player injected himself with steroids 10 years ago than help protect this country from its enemies now. You are a national disgrace. Run along zombie.

Olberdouche being an assiduous journalist, sir, is not really an important point at this time.
It is so much more than merewwy being a journawwist, so much more, sir.
It's about being a sewrious person, a citizen of this countwy, if you will, SIR.
The twuth has no bias, SIR.
It's twoo, it's twoo.

Considering Hillary was crushed in VA, DC and MD, I think that is when they realized their "sympathy/victim" ploy did not work.

Heart Break!! All the blue dress interview with knee pads on and Bubba still throws Keith under the bus. This will require a bath tub visit.
A note to Chris Plante: YOU ROCK!! And if you get voted "worst person" because of your question, wear it like a freakin' badge of honor.
