Wow! What a game. My voice is completely shot from shouting during the fourth quarter of last night's Super Bowl XLII. As regular readers will know, I am a passionate New York Giants football fan and was not only lucky enough to score tickets for the big game but get an assignment from Newsweek to cover the game. I took about 700 photos for Newseek during Super Bowl week (along with contributing dispatches from Arizona for Newsweek.com) which are available to view via flickr. As you will see I had plenty of opportunities to interview and photograph a host of interesting people ranging from Paris Hilton to Bart Starr, Eli Manning to Victoria's Secret models. Enjoy! Interestingly I am in Arizona until Wednesday and John McCain's "victory" party for Super Tuesday is within walking distance of where I am staying in Phoenix so I am stop by and check out the action.
[if folks want to discuss the game here fine but non-Super Bowl comments will be deleted]
Bob, this was the most exciting Super Bowl game since Joe Namath and the Jets beat Johnny Unitas and the Colts in 1968.
Being there must have been a blast.

Well, Bob, some people have a different way of looking at the game that isn't so... rah, rah...

Good question.
What this has to do with Olbermann is that I am the Managing Editor for Olbermann Watch so anything I do is de facto has something to do with Keith Olbermann. This is all part of my being the dominant force in media criticism and Olbermann watching.
Wow, looks like the eli manning pick sure panned out. When did he find the Montana within?
Congrats Mr. C. Great game, great victory!

I gotta say, after NE kept getting first down after first down in the 4th quarter ending in a touchdown with less than three min. left, I thought it was over. Interestingly enough, TV Newser has an item saying that Olberhack correctly predicted a 4th quarter comeback from Eli Manning. Further proof that KO needs to get back to where he belongs.
Well, it was that front seven for the Giants that was the key.
Great QBs become ordinary when they're under pressure like that.
But real great QBs - the Unitas's, the Montana's, et cetera - find a way to win in those situations. This knocks Brady's ranking down a notch or two.
Happy for Eli. His parents seem to be just real classy people.
great game! the giants were america's team last night thank you for defeating the cheating bastards!
The patriots cheat.. the repugs cheat.. Cheaters do not win.. at least since 2004 Ohio.

Yes the EVIL Diebold help the Patriots spy on other teams!!! Skull and Bones and the Free Masons took down the World Trade Center with Bush's help. Stick your head back in your toilet bowl communist. ACORN and the Democrats are proven cheats. The Patriots are from the Peoples Republic of Boston where they learn how to cheat from Uncle Teddy and John Kerry “Christmas in Cambodia" Heinz.
NEWSWEEK?!?!? Don't they supply most of the pundits to Bathtub Boy's show? How could you..haha. Actually, I agree that football trumps politics any day.
Bobo, is this an OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER with you?

You have gone to the mat over such inconsequential things as music, art, comedians and now sports figures to climb up on your high horse and scream that any variance from your personal preferences is just another sign of moral and political decay.
When you arrive at a party or family event do you clear the room faster then a speeding bullet except for that one soul who shares every thought, taste and preference with you.
I hate to tell you this Bobo but that is not the way to win friends and influence people. Sometimes people like or dislike things just because and it is not morally or ideollogically based.
GET A GRIP MAN!
