Heard the replay last night on XM of Opie and Anthony's radio show, and even they were hammering Olbermann over his hypocricy on the Shuster apology versus his own use of the term in the Bush-Patraeus Special Comment (they're still mad at him for throwing Imus under the bus and acting like he had been trying to get him fired from MSNBC for years following last April's "nappy-headed" incident sparked by Media Matters).

David Brock is starting this online petition to make MSNBC stop being sexist!
Will Olbermann address this important issue "we all will be talking about tomorrow?"
What a joke.....Olbermann has to be so worried about his credibility with his only audience.....the radical left who listens to MediaMatters while his HUGE paycheck that supports his Manhattan lifestyle comes from the poor entity under attack, MSNBC!

Add the component of Media Matters' Royal Highness HRC saying that Fox News has been more fair to her than MSNBC and you've got sheer poetry... :D
Add still some of the racial code language coming out on behalf of the Clintons during the South Carolina campaign and you've got a Tom Wolfe novel....
I've been thinking of Olbermann's outrage disparity...in his treatment of Media Matters.
Has he shown one iota of interest in calling attention to or exploring HRC's statement to the Kos kids that she helped start Media Matters?
Here you've got Keith Olbermann, who in tones that should be reserved for reporting the advent of Armageddon, has excoriated Pres Bush and Donald Rumsfeld for criticism of the media.
In doing that, Olbermann has conjured up George Orwell and linked the Administration them to totalitarianism in general.
With no offer of proof whatsoever, Olbermann has had no trouble linking this site to the avalanche of negative letters Playboy received over his comments saying a television channel was worse that Al Qaeda and now has hinting that this site is a FNC paid surrogate.
Yet he has NO interest in exploring the connection between Hillary and a website dedicated to watchdogging the media from a particular political frame of reference! A media watchdog site that is actively crusading against the news analysis of the cable news channel that employs him and targeting specific MSNBC employees.
In fact, that site, Media Matters, is one of the largest sources for political polemics on his show Countdown!
Shouldn't Howie Kurtz be commenting on THAT? Shouldn't someone?
Yes Cecelia...The political ideology from which MediaMatters operates, its backers (Clinton Co.) and the amount of noncritical coverage it receives EVEN USED AS A NEWS SOURCE, should be VERY disturbing to a real journalist.
The hyperbole we have seen from Olbermann about habeas, terrorism alerts, FISA, torture, SCHIP, and now the 9/11 trials coming on the horizon and how the administration tries to manipulate the country is well documented here at OW....But this latest episode of REAL and obvious manipulation of the news by HRC and the continuation of it all with MediaMatters will not garner one spit filled Special Comment or serious discussion with one of the usual suspects......
I am sure David Shuster will not be commenting or investigating the MediaMatters leftist infrastructure.....
Here is the statement by HRC at the Daily Kos speech by , :
"...institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and Center for American Progress."
Hey, Keith Olbermann! Media Matters, the site where you so frequently lift material...which so frequently publicizes you and your show...which is actively attempting to set parameters on political analysis and discussions at your network via public letter campaigns and petitions, is an organization the current senator from New York, and former first lady of a two-term president and current candidate for the presidency of the United States, says she helped to start!
Have a Special Education Komment about THOSE dynamics, jerk?
Red Eye is great. Gutfeld rip on scum bag Bill Maher also. That is worth watching. I watch Maher's show and he went on some paranoid rant about how people should take medication. What a moron. Maher snorts coke and smokes pot but thinks people should take antibiotics? What a moron.
What's wrong with Olbermann's face tonight? He's not orange on my TV. In fact he looks as if they brought in the makeup artists from the Gotham Funeral Home and Crematorium. And he might be wearing one of their suits too.
According to TV Newser "He (Shuster) has received calls or e-mails from Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and his office-mate Pat Buchanan, among many others, sources say. Nothing from Imus, as yet."
Does that mean KO has gotten back email privileges? Or maybe he just phoned him, like he phones in his show on a regular basis.
What in the hell is Red Eye.. I did not even know that Faux news even broadcast past the three versions of their prime time crappola. How many rightwingers are awake at 2.00 Am EST ? Any West coasters certainly are watching better entertainment than Red Eye. I mean sure there are some people who do not watch Stewart and Colbert but they certainly are not hip enough to watch an unfunny show produced by a collection of rightwing hacks...

Its probably the same omnipotence in which The Factor knows Olbermann's show sucks without ever having seen it, or the same way the regulars out here were capable of reviewing many movies they've never seen (lions for lambs, redacted, etc...).
How long before the cult leader, obama, starts offering washing machines?
IT was early 1994 when Nelson Mandela gave a speech in a
slum outside Cape Town and spoke in grand terms of a new beginning and how when
he was elected president every household would have a washing
machine.
People took him literally. A few months later he became
South Africa's first black president. That's when clerks in department stores in
Cape Town had to turn people away demanding their free washer and dryer.
Oh. I see.
Since redacted was an unsuccessful movie you are all within your right to know what the content of the movie is without viewing it.
Gotcha. Great logic.
Will Red Eye be named worst persons in the world for calling Olbermann a pretty big dork? How does the Patriots fans trying to overturn the Super Bowl get them Best persons in The World. Isn't that something that should get them WPITW?

Oh, well then I'm sure there are one or two people out there that still can't figure out why 'Xanadu' didn't get an Academy Award.

I wonder what Mr. I've got the greatest baseball card collection in the world, position is on the team?
