"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
The orange-hued Keith Olbermann barked the opening spiel: Richardson endorses! Bill Jefferson Clinton suggesting Obama unpatriotic?!? Oh, and in a red-letter moment, Edward R Olbermann doesn't know shtick when he sees it. Result: tons of free PR for Fox! It's a glorious casual Friday at Olbermann Watch.
#5: Richardson endorses Obama! Clinton can't win! Time for the Richardson blue dress interview:
Needless to say, Rich was Great Thanksed. Note: time to update The List!
Clinton says it would be good to have "two people who love this country" run for President. Horrors! Shock! It's smearing Obama!! Besides Hillary can't win. Polls are with Obama! If the positions were reversed Obama would have quit by now. The Wolffe Man simpered in agreement and was Great Thanksed.
After Fixed News [Ding!] came #4: the Watergatian-like passport scandal. Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann pimped out Fineman, undoubtedly hoping to hear another "breathtaking" or "amazing". The Pundit for All Occasions did deliver a conpiracy theory that Hillary and McCain were dragged in just to hide the real motivations behind it all. Too bad he wasn't Great Thanksed.
After a couple of Halliburtons [Ding!] [Ding!] (they are "poisoning our troops") came #3: an attack on Richard McCain for being soft on national security, aided and abetted by Plame buddy Hillary Leverett, who brought up blackmail as part of her specularama. At least, 24 hours after the fact, Olby grudgingly admitted the Washington Times (previous "worst person" winner) broke the story. Don't worry, they'll be back to "worst" again as soon as it suits Oralmann's nefarious purposes. Principles are flexible on OlbyPlanet.
After the "racist" Fixed News [Ding!] came #2: J-Lo, Halle Berry, Brangela. #1: NCAA and politics.
In the Media Matters Minute, it was attack Fox night! Using comments by Chris Wallace (which you can see here) as a jumping off point, Olby launched his latest smear of Fox (Blue Blog Source: HuffPo). Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson of Fixed News [Ding!] were spreading racism, so bad that their co-host walked off! All hail Brian Kilmeade and Chris Wallace for standing up to bigots!!
Keith is such a numbskull. He paints Kilmeade "walking out" [video below] as him being "fed up" with "race baiting at Fox" (no examples given, of course). Kilmeade did disagree with the other hosts, but that happens all the time. It's what's called both sides of an issue, something they don't permit on OlbyPlanet. In fact, the walk-out was a joke (and one Kilmeade has used a half dozen times before): Doocy jokingly called him a "typical sports guy", and since a commercial break was coming up, Kilmeade feigned mock-anger and walked out the door. What Oralmann doesn't tell you: Kilmeade promptly returned, laughed about it, and went on to debate the issue further.
Hey Bathtub Boy, here's a dollar. Buy yourself a clue. It was shtick, and you fell for it! Why do you think they camera was set up to follow him all the way out the door, and they showed it instead of going to a break? Moron. Oh, and Fox thanks you for the free publicity. Nitwit.
Oralmann also attacked Kiran Chetry (Blue Blog Source: Hillary Clinton's Media Matters) mentioning that she had worked at Fox, and Rupert Murdoch and Fixed News [Ding!] (Blue Blog Source: Crooks & Liars), for Olby's newest crusade: finding objectionable comments on a web forum. You know, the very thing he made Bill O'Reilly "worst person" for bringing up! On OlbyPlanet, if it weren't for double standards, there wouldn't be any standards at all.
Oh, and for someone who delights in finding reasons to "question the timing", Fat Ass never wondered how it was that a handful of posts out of thousands on an obscure corner of foxnews.com were spotted so quickly by his blue blog source. It's almost as if they had... well, we report, you decide.
If it's Friday, it's our weekly assessment of Krazy Keith's masculinity. This week, Monkeymann attacked Fox and other broadcasters 29 times. Olby's source (Hillary Clinton's Media Matters) criticized (MS)NBC 9 times, but Keithy protected his corporate masters with zero criticisms. That makes this week's Olbermann Manhood Quotient: -76 [mama's boy limp].

And that's The Hour of Spin for this, the 685th day since the declaration that "Karl Rove will in fact be indicted".
