I've been a regular viewer of Countdown for about two years now. It's not that I agree with Olbermann's politics it's just that I am a news/political junkie, the show filt my schedule and I enjoyed the analysis and freshness of the show.

It was always clear he was a hyper-partisan but I didn't mind. I found his guest entertaining and informative. And to be honest, I still do for the most part.

But having said all that this absolute adoration he has for Obama and the commitment to slamming Clinton (who I'm no fan of) and of course all republicans is really an embarassment for NBC. He doesn't ask his guests (Schuster, Wolf, Alter, etc.) questions as much he makes a statement and looks for backing.

I'm also now a regular visitor to this website.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Likely Democratic Primary Voters evenly divided the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Nationally, Barack Obama now holds a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Hillary Clinton, 45% to 44%. Before the story broke about his former Pastor, Obama led Clinton by eight percentage points. Today’s results are identical to those just before Obama’s Tuesday morning speech (see recent daily results).

Nationally, 51% of all Likely Voters said that speech was good or excellent. Just 21% said poor. However, 56% remain concerned about Obama’s relationship with Pastor Jeremiah Wright. See Obama’s Speech.

On Friday, Obama’s favorable ratings remain little changed from recent days—48% favorable, 50% unfavorable. Before the Pastor Problem became big news, Obama was viewed favorably by 52%. I gave up on the News Hole a long time ago. When it became apparent that it had been taken over by the rabid fangirls with no lives, Krista, Pam, Anna, etc., I saw no reason to continue posting there, and I won't unless they fix the thing.

Lately, the few comments that are posted are pro-Countdown or pro-Keith only. Used to be a diversity of viewpoints. But no longer. I have never and will not e-mail MSNBC. They can see the blog posts, so that shouldn't be necessary.

Unfortunately, the poor management of the blog will drive some people to Olbermannwatch.com to post opinions that are ignored at the NH. I have gone over to the Television Without Pity forums to post, and sometimes, BloggingOlbermann.com. TwoP forums are not moderated, BO is. I highly recommend these two over the News Hole.

I'm still holding out some hope that the News Hole is only in a coma, from which it will someday awaken.

I do hope that you not only visit regularly but also comment here regularly. I suspect that you and I have very different political views but I would definitely welcome engaging someone like you here for two reasons.

First, you expressed your opinion in a straight forward manner.that was refreshing.
