We also know that we have an obstructionist minority in the Senate that cares not in the least for our Republic and our Constitution. Impeachment will not succeed. The Democrats have been remarkably high-minded. The Republicans drug our Republic through a contentious, unsuccessful impeachment battle merely to add to their rhetorical war chests for their rabid, hate-filled constituents. The Democrats are not as willing to destroy the Republic. Good for them. Good for all of us.

What is that stirring background music juxtaposed with the Stars and Stripes, soldiers and innocent little ones?

I am so tone deaf that it is pathetic but the music kind of reminds me of the score from Winds of War. I am sure that is not it but would appreciate anyone who does know letting me know.

What ever it is it does evoke patriotism, that "last resort of scoundrels", or so I have heard.
