I fail to see how Geraldine Ferraro was racist, when every day we hear how great it is that a black man is a leading contender for US President. Doesn't that prove her point? He's gives impassioned speeches like John Edwards, but Edwards is white, and also sitting at home, out of the race.
The more weak sisters like Olbermann get the face time and the visbility, the better things will be for the Republic and Common weal.
Oblermann's pusillanimous puss matches nicely with the Daily Kos script that he uses in his 'thought commentaries' - they guy is a One Dope General Betrayus Ad and worth millions of new Democratic regular voters to John McCain's camp.

She's considered racist because she spoke something that doesn't mesh with the great liberal narrative about Obama.
She could have said the same thing about Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice and it wouldn't have raised a hair, but because she said it about the great cultural hope, no matter her history, she's a racist.
John Gibson asks if any conservative could make a statement linking blacks with chicken (and pancakes with grids...) and fare as Olbermann has fared. Well, of course not. However, is such a remark really "racist"?
If it's not, my next question is why any conservative would want to act like pigs too and to get down into the pig pen and eat their slop?
The slop stays slop, the pigs stay pigs, we just end up stinking too and lending credence to the pig's notion that the dung smell he wears is really perfume.
I thought Olbermann was a BoSox fan, no, Mets fan, oh, right, he was just pandering, he's really a Yankees fan:

Olbermann remembered back to 1972, when four seats for the season wound up costing $1,056 (there were 15 doubleheaders). Now the seats — so close to the field that his mother got hit by a ball when Chuck Knoblauch overthrew first base eight years ago — cost him $81,000.
"From $1,000 a season, it's $1,000 a game," he said. "So literally they've now crossed that mark where it's 81 times more expensive to see the season as it was in 1972."
The News Hole is fucked up, like never before. They used to post a lot of stuff, except, I assume, the most offensive, but there were always several anti-Keith, or anti-Countdown style news format comments or whatever. Now, there are no opposing views, and specifically nothing against Olbermann. And the number of postings for each thread has gone down by at least, dozens. Even my neutral stuff doesn't get posted.
I saw that also Richard. I can remember when there would be over a hundred comments on each thread. A "special comment" thread easily brought up too 600. You will notice that a poster named "Pam Bignardi" no longer comments, she use to have about a third of the comments every night. wierd.
The racist is Jeremiah Wright
The "enemy" has skin color white
For the last twenty years
Obama's big ears
Have agreed with this racist insight
How long til Gibson loses his little radio show as well... hey John,, spare yourself the humility... Slit your wrists.. horizontally not vertically.
