As an outside observer not invested in either one of these candidates, i agree that Hillary has no chance of overcoming the vote lead. However, there are compelling arguments that she will be able to make come convention time.

Recent polls suggest she may finsih very well, winning as many as 9 of the final 16 states.

Recent polls also hand her the lead following the media's first barrage of unfavorable coverage towards Obama. She could conceivably go to convention leading him in national polls. Regardless of his delegate lead at the time, this will strike people, including super delegates.

Perhaps her most compelling argument is, that take away states that will almost certainly go Republican in November (excluding Virginia, where Obama can most certainly play) and Hillary does lead him in pledged delegats. Obama's talent of stealing republican voters in the south, has not translated to other regions of the country. She continues to do better in large swing states such as Penn, Florida, and Ohio. Polls also suggest Mich could be a swing state this year, and she plays better there than obama as well.

The nomination of Obama will almost certainly spell victory for dems in the national vote count, as he will dominate in traditional blue states and have much closer margins in republican states than clinton. But his poor showing in states that most often suggest that he could not only lose the electoral college vote to McCain, he could be trounced in it.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Likely Democratic Primary Voters evenly divided the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Nationally, Barack Obama now holds a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Hillary Clinton, 45% to 44%. Before the story broke about his former Pastor, Obama led Clinton by eight percentage points. Today’s results are identical to those just before Obama’s Tuesday morning speech (see recent daily results).

Nationally, 51% of all Likely Voters said that speech was good or excellent. Just 21% said poor. However, 56% remain concerned about Obama’s relationship with Pastor Jeremiah Wright. See Obama’s Speech.

On Friday, Obama’s favorable ratings remain little changed from recent days—48% favorable, 50% unfavorable. Before the Pastor Problem became big news, Obama was viewed favorably by 52%. One month ago, he was viewed favorably by 56%. The number with a Very Unfavorable opinion of Obama has increased from 26% a week ago to 33% today.

McCain is viewed favorably by 54% of voters nationwide and unfavorably by 43%. For Clinton, those numbers are 43% favorable, 55% unfavorable (see recent daily results).

Looking ahead to the General Election in November, John McCain continues to lead both potential Democratic opponents. On Friday morning, McCain leads Barack Obama 49% to 41% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41%.

The passport file once "breached" will never again yield more info unless the holder has used it in complete secrecy so that only the record in the world is their passport record.

No, 7:06, the man responsible for the third breach works for a company which is owned in part by a man who supports Senator Obama. Several levels of separation to say the least.
