UPDATED 3/28/08 - As some folks know I have been traveling all week and trying to squeeze in time here and there to fine tune the site. There are still a few things I need to sort about the new site and realistically I am not going to get a chance to do that until I get back to New York. So figure Saturday. I have gotten about 15-20 requests for a login and will process those at the same time. So for those who sent emails I did get them. And rest assured that the criteria for approving a request has nothing to do with your politics and everything to do with not being a troll. If there are any experts of MT4 who would care to help me, please let me know at the email address indicated below and we can chat on Saturday.
BTW, folks might be interested to know that earlier in the week I was at the Newseum in Washington for a blogger night event that I had organized. There I learned that I am, believe it or not, part of one of the exhibits (on citizen journalism and the Libby trial). I am in Nashville now because I spoke yesterday at MTSU in Murfreesboro where other speakers included Al Gore and Jimmy Wales from Wikipedia. I have to admit that Al gave a quite amazing speech on the development of the human brain and the Internet and displayed a sense of humor that was all but invisible when he ran for President. The key event was Al serving as peacemaker (get it?) between Jimmy Wales and John Seigenthaler (you can google for why that would be noteworthy). All of the speakers took a group photo with Al so I will post that when I get a copy.

I think I set the site now so that only registered commenters can comment.
I am going to set up a few folks as "registered commenters" over the next day or so. If you would like to be considered for the initial batch send me an email at robert_a_cox at yahoo dot com. Trolls needs not apply. To validate the first few folks I need you to send me an email from an ISP account (not hotmail or yahoo or whatever but an email from an ISP like verizon or cox cable). I need to know the display name you want. Also, there is a feature where you can have an image next to your name so you can attach an image file as well - something fun, interesting or that makes a point and is not impolite.
Thanks
