As folks have noticed, we had a series of hiccups in getting our new software up and running. We appear to have sorted the template issues that were preventing us from posting to the site and, as you can see, J$ was able to post last night. We continue to experience problems with getting the commenting feature to work correctly and until we get that sorted out comments are, in effect, disabled. The bad news here is that we are still not clear on the cause of the problem(s) with commenting so I cannot say when it will be fixed. There is always the option to enable commenting for anyone but I refuse to do that; we are biting the bullet and ending the ability of trolls to disrupt the site. I'd rather have the site go through a period with no comments than go back to what we were experiencing before.

Again, for folks who sent in requests for logins to comment. I have them and once we get things squared away I will set up a group of beta testers for the commenting feature. Eventually we will open that up more but for now we'd roll out slowly with registered commenters.

I apologize for the problems. I share your frustrations. All we can do is chalk it up to "more fun with computers"! :-)
