Vyan is an OlbyLoon. Why? On his My Space page, Vyan likes to call himself a "radical centrist". He worked as an IT consultant in the dot-com bubble hoping to cash in and make millions. His dreams of riches dashed he now believes how you make money does not define you and, oh by the way, America is a fascist country. When he is not busy spreading his message of peace and love he is fantasizing about kicking people's teeth in and pissing in their drinks. Vyan is in a tortured state of existence which makes Keith Olbermann seem especially appealing.
Vyan was apparently a little perturbed to have been the last to know that Keith Olbermann is a big fat liar so he wrote a little essay called "On Olbermann, Cold-Blooded Killers and Bald-Faced Liars" which he then plastered all over the Internet - you can find it on Daily Kos, on Democratic Underground, on Blogger and probably on Craigslist if you look hard enough.
Seems Vyan doesn't like Laura Ingraham, loves Keith and does not have much good to say about Olbermann Watch. He seems so worked up about Laura calling Keith out on his calling U.S. troops cold-blooded killers that he might even piss on someone's teeth or kick in their drinks! He writes:
Her claim here, using the site "Olbermannwatch" as her source is that Keith is a liar, and that he really did mean to insult our U.S. troops when he mentioned "Cold=Blooded Killers" in the Iraq War and wasn't simply throwing Bush's ridiculous rhetoric at the Knesset right back at him in reference to BlackWater.
Actually, the source for the quote Laura read was Daily Kos and the words she read were those of Keith Olbermann.
You really do need to read the entire post because you cannot fully appreciate how high Vyan must have been when he wrote it until you try to actually follow what he is saying to see if it makes sense. For those with better things to do let me save you the suspense - he doesn't make sense at all. The point of Laura's commentary and our post which was the basis of it is that Keith claimed in his clarification that he removed one sentence but the day the Special Comment aired he specifically claimed he did NOT remove ANY sentences. Of course, rarely do you get such a perfect opportunity to point out an OlbyLie and confronted with such tension Vyan's head explodes so that he goes on to deny that Rosie O'Donnell said U.S. troops were terrorists or that Michelle Obama ever said she had never, in her adult life, been proud of her country. According to Vyan there are all LIES, LIES and MORE LIES. Of course, the problem is that there is video tape of all three statements.
The commenters add a few tasty tidbits too...
"As for Olberwatch, that site is disgusting, and a waste of time to even look at."
"I've come to think that Olbermannwatch really needs to be called "the ironically named Olbermannwatch" because they watch every second of every show of his, and still came to that asinine conclusion."
"hey, Keith, if you read this diary is there anything we should do about these elephant butts besides laugh at them?" [note to nicolemm, Keith does not like anyone using his name and the word "elephant butt" in the same sentence]
"socio-pathological liars" LOL This loser Vyan likes to make up words just like Keith.
Man what a loser. Take a look at his picture. Notice that there is absolutely nobody behind him playing. Probably walked into a gay bar (not that there's anything wrong with that) before the band started and said to his buddy (if you know what I mean), "Hey, take a picture of me when I pick up that mic and pretend I'm singing a love song to you". (Yes, that's my last innuendo)
Vyan is "spreading his message of peace and love" through re-education camp just like Chairman Mao and Lenin. Equality of results by cutting the pie into smaller pieces.
Typical Olbyloon, Vyan says KO meant "Blackwater." Did KO ever say he meant Blackwater? NO, KO lied about the whole "Cabinet/Pentagon" thing, but even he didn't try to claim the Blackwater thing.
These Olbyloons really can't take throwing KO's actual statements back at them, can they?
And now for something completely different.....
Ko's daily KOS post (Ko's....KOS......no wonder he feels such affinity for those guys)

...don't overdo this.
Nearly all "pressure" campaigns on tv blow back (and that word "pressure" was used in this diary, prominently).
Remember that as your emails come in, they are vying for space with these knee-jerks from the right after the White House letter from Mr. Ed.
Remember also, if you were making an important decision and you got 500 identical emails, even if they all said "We know you'll do the right thing," you'd tend to consider them not as 500 emails but as just one.
If you want to write, you might have influence. But write your own. And don't assume your point of view is not being viewed sympathetically by the recipient(s).
I hope that last sentence was as inscrutable as I intended it to be.
In the interim, be of good cheer, as they say.

So, now that KO has pimped out the great job Madcow did last week "highest rating in the demo the whole DAMN day" he's finally feeling threatened and posting the inevitable "hey, dammit, I'm your guy, Gregory's not going anywhere, and the whole world including the White House ('cept for you guys) is pissed at me....don't push this too hard please, let me spin the reasons why for you"...
I love the use of "inscrutable" which the Kossacks then looked up and used in the next several posts back to him, while thanking him for looking out for them and still pushing their individual agendas.
Sorry if this is a bit incoherant tonight, but I know you get the point...its late and I'm a bit tipsy from karma and merlot 0.o
Remember, Keith started his Special Comment Apology talking about how "reasonable viewers" might have been confused as to whom he meant by "cold-blooded killers." But then he quickly switched to calling people "fringe" who said he meant the troops. Why, Keith said, of course he didn't mean the troops, he meant the Pentagon, where the troops work!

Scott,
Please provide a link. Is this Keith telling Kos readers to write to MSNBC in support of him?
Robert:
Scott is noting Olbermann's comments under this story:
The Maddow Movement Launches!
http://tinyurl.com/6kh7kz
which is a call for a petition drive to get MSNBC to give Maddow her own show.
Hey guys, there's a link to these Keith komments in the mini-blog in the left hand column!
Why is that the popular defense for telling remarks from liberals is that they never mean what they said?
Olbermann says he MERELY meant that the Pentagon (except for so-and-so) was full of cold-blooded killers, rather than the people doing the actual killing (equating U.S. military leaders with Bin Laden) and liberals defend Mrs. Obama with the suggestion that she really didn't mean it when she said that she felt proud of country for the first time over a victory for her husband.
Does this Olbyloon actually think he's defending Olbermann when he says that he was merely throwing Bush's rhetoric back at him? Does he really think that Olbermann making sort of moral equivalency between terrorists and dictators and a U.S. administration is less insulting to the U.S. and the military?
These are the same people who are so literal that they feel they are being told they are soft of Nazism or slavery when others use what are historical references to the outcome of appeasement policy, yet explicit statements and heinous insults like "cold blooded killers" really mean something else.
I saw Alan Dershowitz on TV today (CNN, I think). He is supporting Obama but is an Israel hawk and it was pretty clear he was conflicted. He was present in the Knesset when Bush spoke about appeasement. Dershowitz said then when Bush made his remarks he took them to mean he was talking about Jimmy Carter and that he APPROVED of them wholeheartedly. He did not explain how he later came to understand that Bush was talking about Obama. He did not even say that Bush was talking about Obama. He skipped all that and just jumped to defending Obama. However, it also sounded a lot like he is WORRIED about Obama, that he is, in fact, another Jimmy Carter liberal on foreign policy.
I saw Biden on this morning too. He was asked about the back and forth between McCain and Obama on the Webbh GI Bill. I never saw someone stammer so much on national TV. It seemed pretty apparent that he knew his "job" was to defend Obama and go after McCain but the best he could come up with is some bizarre analogy about truck safety and how McCain's reply to Obama was an ah hominem logical fallacy.
What we are starting to see, in my opinion, is the makings of a landslide victory for McCain.
Ironically, I saw Mika Brzezinski
say that foreign policy would be THE issue in the campaign. I guess that means the economy is not really as bad as the Dems thought since for the past few months all we've heard is how the economy is the #1 issue.
My favorite part, however, was when Mika was talking about seating Florida Democrats at the Democratic National Convention and used the word "WE" in talking about resolving that issue. Of course Mika's dad Zbigniew Brzezinski was Carter's National Security Advisor.
Here is another tidbit for you. Zbigniew Brzezinski was/is a foreign policy hawk. According to that font of truthiness, Wikipedia, it was Zbigniew Brzezinski who designed the "Afghan Trap", luring the Soviet Union into an invasion of Afghanistan for the purpose of embroilling the USSR in their own "Vietnam".
It was under Operation Cyclone (http://tinyurl.com/2nkmtp) that Brzezinski orchestrated the funding and training of the anticommunist guerrillas in Afghanistan (the mujahadeen). If you read the book or saw the movie you know that the amount of the funding was small but dramatically ramped up through the machinations of Charlie Wilson during the Reagan Administration. Now, I am more than happy to give credit to Carter, Brzezinski or Wilson for their role in brining down the Soviet Union but what I find interesting is how, in the wake of 9/11, we never hear that the idea of funding the mujhadeen originated with Carter's NSA Director. Once the remnants of the mujhadeen reconstituted themselves as al Qaeda, all we hear is that al Qaeda was blowback from the Reagan Administration. Sound familiar? Kennedy gets the U.S. into Vietnam, LBJ escalates the war but somehow the war becomes Nixon's fault.
Just some random food for thought on a Friday.
obama has lots of boning up to do before he will be ready to debate with McCain face to face. Every time obama attempts to return fire at McCain, obama is explaining himself afterwards, just like he doing today in regards to his Cuba comments. Will this be the first debate ever where we will have a "halftime" for obama to regroup and explain what he really meant? McCain will slaughter obama face to face.
Please excuse my above comments. I'm not a politically correct person but my comments were silly.
Count Dung, I appreciate that you evaluate and measure yourself. That takes heart and intellectual courage.
I'm glad you post here and will watch for your stuff in the future.
Bob, I had read at Time article about Brzezinski's admission in his book.
That info took a while to filter out and I've seen the argument that Reagan policy made UBL a few times around the net, but nothing on the order of the past.
I think McCain will win in a landslide as well. Obama and his miserable Marxist missus just can't hold up under the weight of the scrutiny, which has come way too late for the Dems. Obamessiah, indeed. His supporters are starting to lose their religion.
The simple fact is that since LBJ's 1964 victory in the wake of the Kennedy Assassination, the Democrats have won a majority in a presidential election just once - 1976 with Carter in the aftermath of Watergate. And Ford nearly pulled off the win in the closing days. When Clinton ran in 1992 he specifically presented himself as a DLC Democrat, running against the left-wing of his party as Hillary has done, and claiming he could govern from the center. Every time the Democrats elect a foreign policy dove they lose. And every time they lose they stare at their navel and ask "how could have nominated THAT guy".
It is obvious to me that Democrats will be asking themselves the same things this November - he was too young, he was too experienced, he was not ready, he was to far to the left, he could not move back to the center, etc.
The only candidate the Dems had that worried me was Hillary because she made it a point to talk tough, be tough and built up her credentials on military affairs with her committee assignments and trips to Iraq (with McCain). So them Dems dump all over the only centrist candidate they had and now are going to wonder why they couldn't get to 50% plus 1.
I thought this was a very interesting story regarding Olbermann making Petraeus WPITW last night:

Once again, Olbermann's devotion to the radical left blogs places him in conflict with the professional journalists in his organization.....
I wonder if Brian Williams will be having him on anytime soon?
I agree, Bob. I think the Dems are in for another flameout and it's their own fault. Obama was more popular when he could spout platitudes and not have to justify one syllable of his eloquent indoctrinations.
I just read this article on Politico. I don't think Obama can address anyone critical of him without pulling the race card or claiming his detractors somehow think he is a Muslim. Gee, Barry, maybe they think you are a shrieking moonbat who knows zilch about foreign policy.

"Olbermann is referring to this post on the blog Think Progress,"
Pretty much sums it up! "Think progress" is the equivalent to "pentagon documents." A journalist he's not.......
I think Keith advising Kossacks on how best to lobby MSNBC deserves it own post.
Teddy?
