Very funny and I think the leg is right!....Keeping the eye on the prize for 2009 is the best advice....Don't let the unlikely prospect of being MTP host distract the true believers from their appointments!

Both Olbermann and Matthews are emotionally invested in SNOBamessiah acieving victory in November and MTP does not help them in this goal.

I watched all the initial coverage when Russert died Friday. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. But allow me to give my fellow OWers some insight into the pathetic human being that is Keith Olbermann.

From early coverage of Russert's death on Friday, every reporter, pundit, friend, whoever was close to him, (especially his Washington bureau folks) all recalled the special nickname Russert gave each of them. For example, Andrea Mitchell was known as "Mitch" where only Russert and her father called her by that nickname. She actually cried when telling that story. One thing all the reporters said was Russert's signature line to them, was "Go Get 'EM, (insert nickname here).

Well it seems Keith never got a nickname from ‘ole Russ, when it was Keith’s turn to anchor, he of course said, “and the last email I got, Tim said, “Go get ‘em!” There was NO nickname, Olbermann repeated this line over and over again and again NEVER mentioning any nickname, NOT ONCE. Later, he interviews Kelly O’Donnell, beloved Washington bureau reporter and one of Russert’s dearest co-workers. She of course told how Tim would say to her, “Go get ‘em, KO!” In the middle of her recollections, Olbermann practically cut her off, he couldn’t wait to stomp all over her memory and her true affection from Russert. Olbermann then did something so pathetic, so transparent to all OWers here, he CHANGED the his “story” he actually CHANGED the line from Tim to him to NOW say, “Go get ‘em KO!” (just like Kelly O’Donnell). In other words, this pathetic gasbag was so insecure that Russert had NO affection for him, NEVER called him by any nickname, that he had to steal Ms. O’Donnell’s memory. Now remember, Kelly had worked with Russert for years, Irish like him, and honestly, do you think Russert was that lame that he would use the same nickname for two people (no matter their initials) as different as Kelly O'Donnell and Keith Olberman? I sincerely doubt it.

He then marveled at that. It's like some sick lightbulb when off in his head. You could see it in his pleased expression. Believing not only did he have a special kinship with Russert, but now, with O’Donnell as well. In the midst of Kelly’s true & sincere grief was this turd of a man glomming on to her real and personal memory. She looked stunned. Keith continued this phoney story again that evening when Ms. O’Donnell had to endure more face time with him. This is the kind of pathetic man Olbermann is. So devoid of morals and integrity, this man will stop at nothing to be a part of the story, even stealing someone else’s actual memories.

If that was not enough, on that SAME Friday night, Olbermann also talked about first seeing Russert and his kid back in ‘98 or ‘99, and how Luke Russert always got on the field (with his dad) for baseball allstar games, and how he (Olbermann) did not, only had average seats. How pathetic can you be, showing your ENVY of a kid who THAT VERY DAY lost his Father to a sudden heart-attack. This guy is truly a loser and totally pathetic. Don’t for a minute think that Page 6 story was not true. You all know Olbermann believes, with every fiber of his being, that he is “qualified” to do MTP.

Wow. I wish I had access to the Friday archives to see his reaction to "KO".

I would tend to believe that Russert may had addressed Olby as "KO" in his last e-mail. It was just that Olby did not equate Russert's use of his initials as a sign of affection until O'Donnell brought it up.

I also believe that Russert would use "KO" as a real sign of endearment towards O'Donnell.

For Olby, it was just shorthand to avoid typing out "The Goon".

I tend to believe he called him "Kieth" I tend to believe that Russert had no affection for Olbermann. He had too much class and moral fiber to have any respect for the man.

Wonder what KO will do tonight. Was up too early this AM and on came Morning Joe. He worked Obama Man over pretty good about lying (my word) I guess that is what flip flopping means in TV land, with respect to public campaign money. Had Tennessee Ford on who was all over rationalizing it for Obama. Most other guests seemed to basically agree the man lied, they just couldn't say the word. Figure KO is apoplectic and puking all over himself trying to figure if he can get away with giving Joltin Joe a WPITW award. They even had a segment on where Russert really pushed Obama on the fact he signed a document and made a promise. KO had to be pissing himself over all of that.

I heard a replay of that on my local radio station this morning. Obama was a tap dancin' fool! Just one of obamas countless lies.

I am really bummed. He did the same person as last night. What a pussy.
