Despite that, just yesterday, Cole said:

"No, I don't have buyers remorse. Yes, he still is better than Hillary or McCain. No, I am not disillusioned (I never thought he was a flaming liberal in the first place). That said, the Supreme Court rulings please me personally about half the time these days. But what is MUCH scarier to me is that we have at least one justice (Scalia) who is perfectly comfortable justifying torture on the false premise that 'torture isn't intended as punishment, therefore it isn't unconstitutional. Then he follows that up with an emotional response to the Quantanamo ruling by his opinion of the possible ramifications....which an example of pure judicial activism, and NOT concern for the integrity of the Constitution.

But what is REALLY scary about this is that SCALIA is often touted as someone who conservatives would like to see MORE of on the bench!
