Olbermann's viewers probably don't even watch O'Reilly; Olbermann, on the other hand, never seems to miss a minute.

...Dean tells me he went over the new FISA law fully again today (and the ACLU guys have been poring over it since his first suggestion of this last week) and he was right the first time.

The bill immunizes the telecoms against civil suits, and leaves it wide open for the Justice Department to prosecute, criminally.

And the "right wing frame" on Democrats and national security is an injustice and nonsense - just like all the other right wing frames. Unfortunately, this is the only one that might stick to Obama because irrational fear is a human fundament. If he plays it wrong, he votes against (and the bill passes anyway), he gets stuck within the frame (and loses the election), and nothing legally happens, ever, to the telecoms - or the Bush Administration.

But if he plays it right...

Looks like the comment Monday night is going to be more of KO with his head in BOs' lap rationlizing this FISA thing. Once again, if it is politics you can do anything for the sake of getting elected. Don't know why he thinks his side is any more honorable than the other side.

And Obamessiah is a genius because the gullible voters will see Senator Obamessiah as courageous for standing up to protect Americans from (alleged) terrorists while the vote really will allow President Obamessiah to reverse track yet again and prosecute the telecoms for their actions.
