What is it with liberal pundits and taxes? MSNBC blowhard Keith Olbermann has become the latest liberal political figure to get in trouble for failing to pay his government dues, our friends at Olbermann Watch report:
If NBC News wants to maintain any journalistic credibility they can not allow Olbermann to hijack their news brand for a full hour for purely partisan purposes like they did March 20.
In a rare instance of disunity, the incessantly talking Head and thrill-sensing Leg of Chris Matthews have come down on different sides on the issue of former White House spokeshuman, Scott McClellan.
McClellan was on CNN with Blitzer on Friday 5/30 and was asked by a viewer why he didn't resign from the Bush administration if he honeslty believed all of the things he is now writing about. McClellan gave a very detailed, thoughtful answer . . . to an entirely different question. He talked at length about how he started off as an idealistic person with (then) Governor Bush in Texas in 1999 and followed him to the White House. He also talked about how he supposedly became disenchanted with the way things were being done in Washington. However, McClellan never said why he did not raise the concerns set forth in the book while he was still working with the Bush administration and never said why he did not resign in response to the specific question asked. Of course, Blitzer either didn't notice or didn't care, and did not wollow up on that specific question.
