KO has a well-known history with other networks of being flighty and tempramental (emphasis on "mental"). With NBC knowing this, the only strategy that would seem to justify NBC hitching their ratings to his star is the combination of the fanatic Kos crowd watching daily along with the "train-wreck effect" of others tuning in to see how bad KO really is. That's not a very good long-term strategy, but KO's not a long-term kind of a guy. Either that, or NBC is being run by idiots who don't care about alienating people like Russert. Or both.

I love it, the hate filled kossacks taking notice of Olbermannwatch. Bob, J$, and the others must be doing something right! Keep up the good work.
