It was first reported right here at Olbermann Watch yesterday. Further details on how Oralmann smeared O'Reilly with a false blue blog story hit the web last night. Since then, news of Bathtub Boy's perfidy has spread, including important reports from Inside Cable News and TV Newser. So Herr Olbermann's unprofessional smear tactics have been exposed for all to see. Will he swallow his considerable pride and deliver an apology to Mr Bill tonight? Will he slip in a correction camouflaged by another fusillade of attacks? Or will he follow OlbyPlanet protocol and admit nothing, correct nothing, and let his lies stand?

It appeared the pressure was grinding down on Olby tonight. Yesterday the obvious castigating by Joe Scarb. Today Olby being called out big time for the Bill O'Reilly Lie. Was Olby contrite? Did he apologize for his despicable, lazy lie? No on both counts.

He came out swinging at McCain with a fervor that bordered on hysterical. " McCain speaking 'gibberish'. The Bellowing Klown was appalled that John McCaing had a creme puff with lunch. Geno Robinson had trouble keeping up with the hyperbole. Two nights in row the question " Will McCain even make it to the nomination?" Two nights in a row, the answer was " um, yes." Keith might just ask it again tomorrow night.

O'Reilly made it to the Media Matters Minute, sans correction. All and all, it was an ugly, hate-filled hour of spin. --Observer Dan

I saw the "winners" of WPitW. Ben Stein was Worse, Rep. Duncan Hunter was Worst, and guess who was Worser? .........O'Reilly, of course. KeithO the Klown dismissed the notion of NBC offering BOR a ton of money to work for them earlier this decade and found irony in him appearing on "Today" ten times this decade despite (MS)NBC attacking him every day. But whatever. --Mike C
