Fascinating....you palyed this LOONNNGG clip of Gibson calling someone a liar for clarifying who he was calling stupid for stating the truth.

It is telling how that entire clip never once tackled the meat of the issue....which was WHEN the Sunni Awakening actually began and how it was assisted by us. Both AC Cooper and Olbermann were correct, and yet all you can focus on is who was calling who "stupid" for giving out the correct information.

It always amazes me how LITTLE you actually have on Keith and how you delight in making mountains out of molehills!

It amazes me how studiously you avoid Olbermann broadcasting a false story, having lifted it from an unreliable blog without bothering to fact check it, and then refusing to do a correction. We're waiting for you to explain that away before you can make a claim about "how little" we have on journalistic fraud and liar Keith Olbermann. I just addressed YOUR little embarrassment in which you dedicated an entire thread to an extreme right wing radio hack calling a commentator a liar for claiming he wasn't talking about another commentator who told the truth a real issue. Tell us why Keith's false report, which he refuses to correct knowing that is false, is so unimportant that you crow about "how little" we have on Keith. Explain how in your world a "journalist" who doesn't bother to check before he reports, and then prefers to let a lie stand rather than admit he was wrong, is so LITTLE that it doesn't even deserve to be addressed.

Tell you what Mr. Greenback....YOU tell me what was so wrong about both Keith and AC Cooper's assertion that the Anwar Awakening began in earnest long before the surge, and how reporting that fact could possibly make them "too stupid to be on TV",.....and then I'll consider addressing your latest little gotcha regarding mega-personality rivalries. You might want to throw in the CBS gaffe regarding the McCain interview in which the wrong answer was inserted to a different question while you're in the process of critiqueing journalistic integrity.

If you actually listened to the clip, you would have heard that coward Joe Scarborough said a "couple" talking heads said what Joe objected to. Not one like he lied about the next day. There is only 3 cable news and Fox News doesn't bash the troops so that leaves only two talking heads, Stuck in the closet Cooper and Olberliar. We know you admire cowards like Joe Rino the Steppen Fetchit Republican, but try not to embarrass yourself over him.

And if you had actually had the mental capacity to read and understand ANYTHING that I have been posting on this subject, you would have "heard" that the point I have been making all along was that Keith Olbermann AND Anderson Cooper told the truth when they stated that the Sunni Awakening was well under way BEFORE the surge ever happened......Yet Joe Scarborough apparently called them both "stupid" for reporting the truth.

Factor......YOU may have a problem with News anchors using truth to correct the record, and YOU may consider telling the truth to be 'bashing' the troops.....but NORMAL people want to hear the truth.....and that is EXACTLY what Olbermann AND Cooper both reported.

Therefore Johnny Dollar, IF the goal of these Scarborough/Gibson threads was to make Joe Scarborough and John Gibson BOTH look like idiots, ...... you certainly succeeded in doing just that!

Now, if you go back and look at the subject line of this thread, You will see that it is about Joe Scarborough calling Keith Olbermann "too stupid to be on TV" because he reporting the truth, ..... and NOT about something KO said about Billo.

Let me clarify that for you Mlong; Keith Olbermann made a TRUTHFULL statement regarding the timeline of the surge, and Joe Scarborough appeared to call both him and another anchor "stupid" for doing that. John Gibson then came along and called Scarborough a liar for stating he didn't really mean Olbermann.

Now if this is all STILL too complicated for you and Factor to grasp, I'll simlify it even further: KEITH OLBERMANN TOLD THE TRUTH REGARDING THE TIMELINE OF THE SUNNI AWAKENING IN REGARDS TO THE SURGE, yet for some wierd reason, Olbermann watch has now dedicated no less than THREE threads to the backlash of KO doing exactly what an anchor is supposed to do.....In other words Mlong, I WAS talking about KO, and NOT John McCain.

That said, MikeC AND Mlong, ..... I could send you both the email sent to me by Robert Cox himself ENCOURAGING me and others to engage in political debate on this very site. ..... SO do either of you actually believe that YOU run this site instead of Mr. Cox?

Mike, I left a comment for you in the "Gibson congratulates Scarborough" thread. I don't want to repeat it here, but I basically explain myself and apologize for coming off as arrogant or otherwise. As I say there, I come in peace, and I mean that sincerely. I do not want to be an adversary. I've just had some bad experiences in my life with people that have attacked me either online or in person. I know we sharply disagree, but I never want anyone to hate me.
