Swindle asserted that various Democratic surrogates were continuing to keep Clark-style accusations alive, listing Keith Olbermann and Mika Brzezinski.
Even if Obama did follow Olbermann's plan--and is there anyone, anywhere, who believeshe will?--it still wouldn't remotely justify Obama's support for this heinous bill.
Fox News Channel had nine of the top 10 cable news programs with The O'Reilly Factor #1.The top MSNBC program was Countdown with Keith Olbermann in 20th place.
The paper has done similarly themed stories on the liberal cable channel MSNBC (featuring liberal Chris Matthews and foaming Bush-hater Keith Olbermann) making gains.
One cannot get through one evening on MSNBC where they are not doing something that is either critical of the other networks or actually calling out competing broadcasters and pundits.
You could tell he was writhing in anguish trying to convincingly pretend to speak "truth to power" in his SEK just to keep his fans off his back.
Clearly, Olby is floundering. He can't even stay his devout worshippers anymore.
His left-wing-kook mystique is gone.
Don't expect the MSM to give him a pass anymore either.
Hold on, Olby......it's going to be a rough ride this summer. Too bad you can't even make a dent on O'Reilly this week either......AND BILL TOOK THE WEEK OFF!
Look for beefy-Keify to give a shout out to the old actress (83) Lauren Bacall, (I wonder if he'll say she's "206")....

Q: You told Larry King, "I'm a total, total, total liberal and proud of it." Are you excited about the election?
A: I am. I'm a big Barack person. What I find really hard to take is the way the media behave. ... They seem to pick on Barack much more readily than they do on McCain. They suddenly say he's this kind of politician, he's not what we thought, dah-dah-dah-dah. ... I don't understand why these anchors say, "We're not supposed to take a side, we're supposed to just give the news," but they don't just give the news, and they don't tell the truth, excuse me. I only listen to Keith Olbermann. To hell with the rest of them. I'm an MSNBC type now.
Lets see, they are bashing Bush AND MSNBC. What's crazy-legs gonna do? Watch tonight as Keify protects his corporate masters by NOT using this blue blog source:
Democracy Now! vs. MSNBC On Iraqi Oil Contracts
By: Nicole Belle on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008 at 3:00 PM - PDT
"...Makes clear the motive for going into Iraq, doesn’t it? And the idiots on the MSNBC report still insist that the oil will pay for the war and that it will lower gas prices someday. Yeah, right. With companies like Exxon Mobil posting the record quarterly profits, if you buy that, I have a bridge to sell you–cheap.
I don’t think there’s a more clear example of the influence of the corporate media to disinform the general public. In fact, I would hazard a guess..."

Any idea what is going on over at Olbermann Watch at the moment? Last week, there was much hoopla about weeding out the trolls (to Cox = anyone who doesn't parrot his own political views). A new system was supposedly put into place on Thursday, with a dramatic test message from the ever reliable lapdog "Sharon". Now, I am not able to access.

I bet you didn't know that your fame had reached so far. :)
Ouch! This is right up Beefy-Keify's alley; MSNBC got caught "fibbing" about ratings, get this, by capitalizing off Tim Russert's death. Wow, you stay classy, Griffin. Hmmm, worst person tonight?....no, just crickets:
MSNBC Recants on Release
"...Multichannel News' Linda Moss writes about the distinction between the program, Hardball, and the 5pmET time period. Although the release touts a Hardball win, the program actually finished third (CNN's The Situation Room was the top rated program at 5pmET in the A25-54 demo).
Instead, helped by high ratings on June 13 and June 18 (the day Tim Russert died and the televised memorial service — what Nielsen called "Special Coverage") MSNBC won the 5pmET hour..."
This one is for you MikeH. Those dastardly WOWers were much uglier about you than they were about Sharon.

Olbermann Watch Shows True Colors with Commenter Ban
If you listed to the inmates running the asylum over at ow they will well you that they put in their new comment registration system to weed out trolls but the reality is quite obvious - they've only allowed ONE commenter to register who will dare criticize them and even that commenter "MikeH" is so inept at making an argument that it raises the very real possibility that MikeH is not even a real person but just a sock puppet created by ow to create the appearance of a progressive point of view on the site probably taking their cue from Alan Colmes on foxnoise. Here at wow we have REAL freedom of speech where the fascists are free to spout their nonsense, all the better to show just what kind of people these wingnuts really are.

Since you were upset in the past that I did not defend you from all the meanies here would you like me to set those WOWers straight that you are the real McCoy and your ineptitude is real and not feigned?
Don't bait him, Grammie. Please.
Anyway, after I gloated the stunning defeat for Olby on Monday night, he came storming back in the demo last night. Not only did he beat "The Factor" 374,000 to 355,000, but he beat "On the Record" 268,000 to 261,000. The victory celebration takes place in 45 minutes on MSNBC. That's what I get for gloating yesterday.
“Bill O’Reilly made Keith Olbermann,” Phil Griffin says. Olbermann concurs, saying, “I really do owe him a percentage of my salary.”
I'll disagree. Bill O'Reilly didn't make Keith Olbermann... he just pointed in the general direction of the crazy clown and said "Look. He's got bigger shoes, a taller beehive, and more makeup than a transsexual selling Mary Kay"
Dear Keith Olbermann, please put your ego back in the box.

"...Lately, I find myself yawning or switching channels as the poor man grinds out yet another jaw-clenched hisss about the things that irk us all. It's not the point he is trying to make. It's the obviously laborious effort needed to fill the airspace he is allotted with witty, remarkable one liners that will hopefully be repeated the next day by all the news services. Yes, it was novel when this well known pundit first showed he had enough to balls to speak to our president mano y mano, for Olbermann to give him a piece of his mind, as if the Prez was some little teenage kid being scolded by a very angry parent, but that appeal quickly dimmed when it became apparent that the content was being obscured by Olbermann's ego. His sheer joy at listening to himself, even when what he had to say was simply blabber and cheap fill, became obnoxious.
"...Olbermann's willingness to let himself be stretched beyond his own limits has diminished his stature. Instead of cutting edge, he has become irritating..."
For any newcomers to OlbyWatch, I am far from an Oralmann supporter. I hate the guy and desperately want his ass off the air. Normally, I don't use that word ("Fat Ass" is "Heavy Donkey" to me), but I get so worked up over him. You could even say I have acute Olbermann Derangement Syndrome. ;-) :-D
Am I the only one here that wants to be passive and ignore bullies? Am I also the only one that doesn't want ideological challenge-response battles to ensue in these damn comment threads? These battles are counterproductive and drive people like me away. Responding to them makes things worse.
Why would He care about having an 83yr old viewer ?...KO only cares about that 18-25 Demo all the rest don't matter...right? LOL!!! By MLong on July 2, 2008 7:48 PM
Countdown is their top-rated show?
That's a joke just like Morning Joe
(MS)NBC
Rated comically
But that's the NBC status quo

OK just for you MikeC.
However I am fairly certain that MikeH won't respond to me.
"Look for beefy-Keify to give a shout out to the old actress (83) Lauren Bacall, (I wonder if he'll say she's "206")...." KO
Why would He care about having an 83yr old viewer ?...KO only cares about that 18-25 Demo all the rest don't matter...right? LOL!!!

Mike C - I ignore the bullies - not worth my time or trouble. I have no problem walking past them. I come here to see KO's hypocrisy exposed.
Okay, good.
MikeC, that was just a little tweak.
You can't expect a girl to walk away completely from a gift that falls in her lap. :)
