Looks like MSNBC is getting booted off yet another standard cable channel...what is interesting is that MSNBC say they know it's a money decision, yet Griffen infuses the paranoia that maybe it's really because of Olby's politics...(Hey douche, maybe Comcast can have better ratings with a public access channel verses MSNBC):
Tuned In: MSNBC says money, not politics, drove Comcast decision
Friday, July 25, 2008
By Rob Owen, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
"Having gone to my bosses and said, 'What the heck?' and as much as it would be great to say, 'This is where they're trying to silence him,' no, no, it's money," Olbermann said Monday at NBC's star party during the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "Either we didn't pay them enough, they found some way to make more money off of us, I don't know. But my understanding is it's a money thing."
MSNBC president Phil Griffin said he's "reaching out to Comcast" to protest the change, but he does not believe Comcast has a political agenda either.
"It's a business decision, but I think it's the wrong time as we go into this election," Griffin said.

You have to laugh, Olbermann ain't getting enough "press" so First Read posts a long bloggger's love letter about Keith Olbermann and it comes up on a google news search...If "Pat, Boston, MA" isn't a paid NBC?MSNBCer, he should be....here's a little taste from the comment section:
Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Did you see his program last night? Does everyone realize the value in his WPIW & BUSHED segments?
From his commentaries, his great education at Cornell, and just because of what he believes in as an American, it is very apparent that Keith knows what it takes to fight to maintain our democracy. It takes anger and outrage. And all Americans should be. I've been watching Keith for a few years now. Although he may not think so, many of us believe he has made a great deal of headway. And he is showing us how to do it. For some unexplained reason, our journalists decided somewhere along the way to either cede power to Keith or they're afraid - or perhaps just not very smart after all.

After another 6 paragraphs of this suckfest drivel, "Pat, Boston, MA" actually ends his diatribe with:
Countdown w/Keith Olbermann
M-F - 8:00 & 10:00 pm EST.

no, I'm not kidding...seems First Read (which features CHUCK TODD, Political Director at NBC), feels the need to promote Coundown with Keith Olbermann on their blog. I guess that Scarborough back peddle wasn't enough for 'ole Keify....teehee!
