It's neither a surprise nor is it an indictment of MSNBC that more people are watching C-Span than MSNBC. That is the only way to see and hear all of the speakers, and not just the ones they deem important enough to show.

We do agree that Keith has been attempting to woo the Daily Kos readership, the far-left blog readers, blue blogs like Think Progress, Crooks & Liars as well as the Media Matters crowd HARD for more than two years - and really since 2004. Right?

We do agree that most of the Kossacks who are watching are NOT watching MSNBC, right. And 30% are watching C-SPAN. So, 36% of Kossacks are watching the convention on channels that, just like MSNBC, are not showing all of the speeches.

OTHER - 36%
C-SPAN -30%
MSNBC - 28%
NOT WATCHING - 6%

For all that, 70% of Kos readers who have responded are watching a network other than MSNBC where Keith is now THE anchor for the coverage. Yet you want to pretend that there is no message in this data? Again, this is not the general public or all viewers or even all Democrats. This is Keith's CORE AUDIENCE and a large majority of them are watching on another channel.

These are bad numbers for Keith no matter how much you want to whistle past the graveyard.

I love how MSNBC is feeding the viewers DNC talking points in its lower thirds. Thankfully, Fat Ass and The Drooler have not had much to say tonight because of the convention's lineup. I would have loved to hear some of the gossip at 30 Rock today.

MSNBC Obamapologist tank-dweller Chuck Todd blames the media (CNN in particular) for Barry's pomposity. He said the skycam that CNN devised for this type of coverage makes the outlandish Greek Coliseum-type convention set appear larger and more over the top than it really is.

Even Olby questioned Todd's extremely odd musings. He said the overhead camera angles make the candidate look smaller, similar to the Good Year blimp at sporting events.

NBC embarrasses itself more every day, and that's saying a lot.

I find it interesting that "I'm not watching" is so close to CNN. Could it be because the Clinton News Network was so late getting on the Obama bandwagon that the left has turned on them as well?

No surprise that MSO-DNBC is the top traditional network (CSPAN is not a traditional news network) having spent the entire election cycle pandering to the farthest left groups through KO's blog posts (starting with the infamous "I'm sorry I wasn't supporting Barack guys, but I am repentant and will change my ways) and Special Rants, er Comments.

But turning their backs on the original broadcasting arm of the DNC (CNN) in such large numbers is truly surprising.

Although after all the infighting this week, I was almost willing to forego my boycott of all things GE to catch tonight's blowup.

Olbermann just ripped an AP review of Obama's speech. He read some of it and it was perfectly fine. It didn't criticize Obama at all from what I heard. Yet, Olby's head was about to explode and he insulted the AP and worried in horror that this piece-which apparently didn't meet with Keith's cream-his-jeans level of Obamaworship-would go out to thousands of papers! He's officially gone insane. All over again.

A lame sort of joke that The One used: How can we pull up on our boot straps when we have no boots. Funny how Biden and Obama did this without government assistance.
