Another day, another Olbermann Palin smear. But tonight Olby doubled his pleasure, doubled his fun. He gave us not only a new Olbermann lie about Sarah Palin, he tossed in for good measure a new Olbermann lie about Bill O'Reilly! Herr Olbermahn, merrily rewriting facts and proving again that he is a slovenly political hack.

Story # 4 - McCain knows politics, if not economics...McCain isn't a fan of government regulation and taxes... and that's a no-no on Olby-planet. Geno Robinson says "you know" a lot in between spewing dem talking points against McCain. At the end, Olby of course, throws in a gratuitous Plain slam - Geno doubles down and mocks her intelligence. Olby-yuks "Thanks and take care."

Story # 3 Dirty tricks Season Begins... A story about Obama's new race-baiting anti-McCain ad that smears McCain as anti-amesty and misquotes (multiple times) Rush Limbaugh? Or, the latest Acorn vote fraud scandal? Are you kidding... not on Olby-Planet!

It's Olby Book Club Time - Allen Raymond's "How to Rig an Election - Confessions of a Republican Operative" - Fat Ass starts by covering a story and then frets that actually "covering the story" could supress the the dem vote (which must really be the aim of the eeeevil republicans). The author sets him straight and says the coverage would actually increase the dem vote. Needless to say, Olby's "scoop" petered out from there.

Why waste any more time, let's get straight to Oralmann's first smear: tonight's lie about Sarah Palin. And in the true Orwellian [Ding!] fashion that Bathtub Boy loves to employ, his lie about Palin? That Palin herself lied:

Follow: Palin told Gibson she didn't hesitate when asked to run. But tonight, she told Sean Hannity that...well wait, let's get Merkle's exact words so that his lie is laid bare:

Governor Palin insists to Sean Hannity that she did not immediately accept the spot on the ticket, that she hesitated and put it to a family vote.... For God's sake Governor, you're coming across as an out-of-control liar.

Well this is what happens when you claim to quote an interview that hasn't even been broadcast yet. In fact, Palin did not say she hesitated. She did not say, let alone "insist", that she didn't immediately accept.

PALIN: Just the utmost honor is what I felt when he actually said "do you want to help me do this?" And I said "Absolutely, let's get in there and let's reform. Let's shake some things up." HANNITY: What was your family's reaction...? PALIN: It was a time of asking the girls to vote on it anyway, and they voted unanimously on it "yes".

So where was Sarah Palin "insisting" that she hesitated? It's clear she agreed immediately, exactly as she said to Gibson. The family's reaction to her immediate decision is something entirely different. But hey, who cares if Krazy Keith smears Palin with another lie, compounded with a doctored, counterfeit quote? Anything to serve the cause of Herr Olbermahn.

Oh and the only question left: which blue blog did Olby raid for this particular bit of fractured insight? He didn't have to look far. It was Olbermoronn's own blog, Daily Kos.

Oh, there was also a revival of The Anthrax Conspiracy. This one he lifed from Salon.

After Bear covered a bear loose in California, we got the Media Matters Minute, which featured O'Reilly Attack #511, and Another Olbermann Lie.

Worse was Rupert Murdoch (again?), made to look like he cares more about the well-being of News Corp than the hard times on Wall Street.

Worser was Attack #511. "Our silver, Billo the Clown [Ding!], reading the GOP Talking Points [Ding!] about Michelle Obama." Yes, fair reportage of Mrs. Obama in The Obama Chronicles is all part of those Talking Points [Ding!]. Here's the video from last night:

Man on Fan "reported" that evil Bill used called Michelle an angry woman five times and his poor guests disagreed with him. Those poor souls, right, Merkle? Sideshow Bob rake reference. The crazy Ted Baxter voice was used (again?). Fat Ass read a transcript and claimed that Rebecca Johnson, a contributor editor at Vogue magazine, replied to Mr Bill "don't they say that about you, too?" (i.e. "angry"). Olbermoronn spun that into a guest turning on the evil O'Reilly, throwing it right back in his face, leaving O'Reilly "flummoxed."

Another Olbermann Lie! Just view the video: Johnson's comment was a joke, and O'Reilly was not in the least flummoxed. Do you get the idea that Keithy never even bothers to watch the video of this stuff? He just takes what his writers give him from whatever blue blog they lifted it from (in this case, Hillary Clinton's Media Matters). Oralmann of course added the "flummoxed" part himself. Which is to say: he made it up out of thin air! That's the best kind of Olbermann Lie.

As a wrap to his "flummoxed" lie, Fat Ass added: "Viewer Participation Day. Make up your own joke here." Keithy has viewers? Wait, let me backtrack. Does Keithy have 3 million viewers a night? Insert your own response here.

Worst was Rush Limbaugh. Comedian! [Ding!] Rush was "carrying the water" defending Sarah Palin. Same person that said Feminazi! Out comes the gotcha paper, Rush attacking Hillary Clinton when she cried that January day in New Hampshire, which Edward R. Olbermoronn puts up to his face, pausing to look into the camera and make a mocking face while reading the words "emotional blackmail." When he was finished, he entoned: "And not a single one of the sheep listening to him talk out of Face #2 today said of Limbaugh...(voice dropping): 'This guy is the biggest fraud on the radio dial!'" It sounded like Olbermahn was channeling the devil when he bellowed "dial!" "Comedian [ding!] Rush Limmmbbbauggggh! Today's Worst...Person...How's that bear doing?...in the Worrrldddduh!"

Since Olby got demoted, he has become noticeably more unhinged. It is as if the shackles are off now, and there is nothing more to lose.

I already know that he has no shame, so I guess.....he's right: there IS nothing left to lose.

I went to check out the daily Kos story, and the quote was actually taken from time magazines excerpt which actually doesn't even display the first part of sarah palin's answer about not hesitating. they just quote the last part about the family's reaction. pretty lame of time magazine...the first part i dont think is even displayed anywhere

This morning Joe just couldnt resist sticking it to Keith-gloating over Rachel's ratings score. Joe kept emphasizing how nice it was that someone who is*ahem*, 'a good person' is doing so well. He repeated the 'a good person' line for good measure. lol. Gotta love Joe.

Something funny I think I should mention....while I doubt this will get one millionth of the coverage sarah palin's "bad parenting" will get...I am actually born and raised from delaware. It is a very small state, and a few years back my oldest brother was a county police officer in one of delaware's beaches. This area is known for a lot of partying in the summers for high school and college kids.

Well, one summer as an officer, my brother came across a very drunk and disorderly girl. He arrested her to the claims of "do you know who my father is?!" and sure enough it happened to Joe Biden's daughter Ashley. This was back around 2000, so she was underage. Even worse a representative of the Biden's came to her aid and the whole thing was never to be heard about again.... Oh and I heard there were numerous times Ashley was in trouble with the law.

I know some people will think I am making this up, but I have a firsthand source who is probably one of the most honest people I know. My brother. Of course there is no record of this because the Bidens wanted it covered up... So apart from the lies you regularly hear from Biden if any of you have been listening...just remember that Biden isn't the greatest parent either....
