Then added, "....one of the 13 (scandals involving palin) or so...." No wonder olby isn't in the Twin Cities, he can snipe, like a coward, just fine in NYC.

Something is wrong with this picture. KO is introducing Tom Brokaw. Why can't Brokaw come back from the break himself and introduce Chuck Todd. This is just silly. I don't understand why KO is here at all.

One question - if the hurricane had hit last week would Olbermann be in NY, would he have left the Dem convention to anchor storm coverage for one night? I doubt it. I think he's hiding from face to face interviews with Republicans and throwing bombs from afar, like accusations of tax issues with a car wash. Should this guy be talking about tax problems?

The first hour of MSNBC RNC coverage isn't over yet and already Kowardly Keith has:

1. Quoted US Weekly (apparently, the Associated Press is tabloid)
2. Pointed fingers at the Palin family for, of all things, TAX EVASION! (what a hoot)
3. Insulted hurricane victims by claiming it "...turned out not to be much of a hurricane"

Shep Smith of FoxNews was able to cover the RNC in St.Paul AFTER covering the hurricane from New Orleans yesterday. And where is Kowardly Keith? And why is Rachel Madcow missing from the outdoor "Dream Team"? MSLSD knows she'll be booed on air... that's why.

Medal of Honor recipient Col Bud Day just got recognized at the convention. Col Day is the most highly decorated living veteran and was a fellow guest with John McCain at the Hanoi Hilton. This is the same Bud Day that Keith attempted to smear several months ago. I met Col Day about ten years ago and he is a fine, distinguished, gentleman; a genuine American hero whose shoes Keith isn't fit to clean.

Vile, odious Keith falsely claimed that Fred Thompson statement that "being a POW doesn't automatically qualify you for president" was the same thing Wesley Clark said, which caused him to be "thrown under the bus." Actually Clark said that "riding in an airplane" didn't qualify someone to be president. Also, "Tax Cheat" Olbermann took Thompson's statement totally out of context (big surprise there). What he actually said was that while being a POW doesn't automatically qualify you for president, it does show character. I also caught some of CNN's post-speech coverage. The first thing Gloria Vanderbilt's boy commented on was how fascinating it was that some RNC attendees applauded Joe Lieberman's mention of Bill Clinton. Apparently, that was what he found to be most interesting in either of the speeches.

I thought KO couldn't cover the convention?...or is it he just can't cover it AT the convention?..New Murrow indeed.

Joe Scrabrough is getting a little more brave too..he lashed out at the Nazi comments aim at Palin and Pat Buchanan by a Obama spokesman and Joe told him to just go write at (KO's) Daily Kos..now he didn't mention KO by name in regards to Daily Kos..but it's no secret KO blogs there...some are saying maybe Joe knows his future at MSNBC is short so he feels a little more free to say what he wants

The radical left's reaction to Lieberman is very entertaining. He knows he may be totally committing political suicide if the radical left gains more power in the democratic party, but he does not hold his personal power as more important than country....good for him!

On the subject of the interpretation of MSNBC's new political event coverage arrangement....on the radical hate site, Daily Kos, Olbermann calls himself the "breaking news guy," and says that is why he is in New York...Gustav put him there. Well, that is a stupid and unbelievable excuse because Gustav itself is done as a breaking news story. As clear evidence of that fact, all three network anchors are at the RNC. Lastly, there is no more potential weather "breaking news," now well into Friday or the weekend.

Sorry. The reason Olbermann is in New York is because he is incapable of doing a cogent, objective, quality interview with anyone right of Nancy Pelosi, at this point, as he has totally confined himself to be the shill of the radical left. It is as if he has a tic. When another person with a different opinion than his begins to defend their position, he involuntariliy begins to spin the response based on the radical views he has taken on, even coming to a point of verbally bullying the person or asking they stop talking. Not a Murrow-esque attribute.

Keith Olbermann was RELEGATED to New York City because he is not up to the task of doing his job. Whether fear, hatred, snobbery or a combination of the three was the main motivating factor for his continued decline, it is not a positive development.

At the Democratic Convention, Olbermann and Matthews would NOT have stood for someone doing what Olbermann is doing at the Republican Convention.

As an anchor sitting in NY, without benefit of anyone there offer up any defense, Olbermann is refuting Republican rhetoric and offering up negative information about Palin, that he reads on the internet.

This pair went nuts when Republican strategist Mike Murphy made a shot at Hillary Clinton by saying after her speech that she would now to go vote for McCain. This is the pair who couldn't stand any "attacks" on Obama.

It's not enough that MSNBC lets Olbermann stay conservative-free and hermetically sealed in Manhattan, he has to be the Greek Chorus for the Kos Kids!

Where are the arbiters of ethical journalism when it comes to this guy!
