#5 Bathtub Boy gives his horse race commentary on the Obama speech today talking at 90 words a minute. It was rather sicking watching it really. You'd have a small clip of Obama preceeded by KO saying what was coming next, rinse and repeat 7 times. It felt as if he was "getting off" on it in a way. This became suspicious as when it "came" towards the end, Ko started speaking more slowly, started inhaling, and had a look on his face that read " it feels good man".

#4 Obamonimics. Apparently KO was taking great pride that the messiah quoted FDR in that there is only one president at a time. When I saw the speech the live. I saw it as Obama saying " hey Bush still has his term to finish up". BUT NO not the new Murrow. He saw this as a way of Obama seperating himself from Bush and that the meeting on Monday could tarnish the messiah, depsite the fact the white house said its going to make the transition period go smoothly. But then again does anyone really believe KO watches any Bush press conferences unless his crooney's, I'm sorry Ko's staff, find anything smear worthy? Not I.

Remember which former first lady liked seances? It was his fellow DEMOCRAT and supporter, the lovable HRC! Oh well, leave it to SNOBamessiah to screw it up and insult a very nice woman in the process.

Also, a nice note way for the end of the first presser. Once again we see the character of SNOBamessiah....he makes a rhetorical gaffe about talking to former Presidents (currently only the LIVING ones) and decides to smear someone else to try to take the sting away. He's got some work to do about being spontaneous.

If this had been Bush, Olbermann would have dwelled on it for 15 minutes.....likely making him WPitW over the hit/mistake with "RESIGN!" and other bells and whistles added for good measure....

But the church of SNOBamessiah approved hour of propaganda continues on without integrity or intellect....

Obama-Elect: One press conference... one apology.

So this is KO's idea of what his show will be in the future. He really does have an inflated vision/delusion of his importance. He'll monitor Obama's administration or just wait with baited breath for Sarah Palin to do something. New Murrow indeed.

He was bragging that he'll be on The View on Monday. That will be a vision in itself - they'll need an extra couch between his ego and his ass and those 5 women.

My question about the future of COUNTDOWN.....

Will the Obama brown-noser continue to end his show with, "That's COUNTDOWN for this 'Xth' day since the declaration of mission accomplished in Iraq" even after his idol is sworn into office and is then responsible for the outcome?

It will be an interesting observation how and when Olbermann ends the sick vigil. Will he make a comment justifying the change of tone regarding Iraq? At what threshold of success dies he end it? What will happen if the war turns and our national interests are once again threatened and Obama escalates our involvement?

I am on pins and needles with breathless anticipation (sarcasm).

Olbermann announced he will be on THE VIEW on Monday. Perhaps OW can provide some video to remind us of all the "nice" things he has said about Ms. Hasselback. I have a feeling he will be at the table and not on the open chairs...he's got a pretty big gut to hide.....teehee!

Olbermann vs Hasselback - this could be interesting. He'll want to stay on her good side because of her football connections and if he trashes her or is condescending to her he will look like a jerk to the football world. But she will challenge him because she is not one to hold her tongue, and he is not used to that. Will he really have to speak to someone who disagrees with him. Then there's his misogyny history. This sounds likea good time all around.

Speaking of his big gut, is it just me, or does his suits just not look right on him?

BOR looks well dressed and has good posture. But KO always looks slumpt over and his blazer gives the indication that it's wider around the gut area than it is around the shoulders.

Plus you got to love those side shots of him during election night as he tries to mask his gut with an arm resting over the table and of course that George Lucas like second chin he's getting.

Also I think the end of Countdown has been worn out already. Any news of Iraq you here is mostly positive these days. But I'm guessing Keith lost good friends in the war which is why he keeps bringing it up.

When Harry Smith asked about BOR about Oralmann in the CBS News Sunday Morning interview last Sunday, Bill blew off Keithy saying he wouldn't talk about guttersnipes on MSNBC or talk radio. Since he said "why engage that?", Man on Fan says he *has* engaged him for all 5 years and 7 months on the air. Then, he says he answered wrong and is supposed to say "Never heard of him!" when asked that question. Conservatives (even supposed ones like Mr. Bill that are really independent) "don't matter anymore!" By the way, Bill never said of McCain: "he's not a..." Bachmann is evil! McCarthy! Joe the Plumber is still a lying fraud!
Also, in a #1 segment on some night, John Cleese joins in the hate O'Reilly fest. Sagging ratings!

Bathtub Boy doesn't acknowledge that the Dow went down as low as 150 points while Obama was holding his press conference. Only after the Messiah was finished the Dow returned to where it was pre-conference.

So if O'Reilly and the like do not matter now what does that say about Olbermann the last eight years?

So NOW the washing ton Post admits their coverage was tilted towards the Democrats. Of course Olbermann will say nothing about this.

You're welcome, ktt. I actually took a break from all things Olbermann until last night. I heard him in the John Gibson clips, but didn't actually watch video of his show. But I just had to see why Mike Francesa was named Worse on Friday night. Apparently, Mike played some Fox raw video that he shouldn't have. So, *that's* why; it was just a way to attack Fox.
Other notes from my WPitW viewing: O'Reilly has sexual harrassment payments to take care of. Nielsen prez Susan Whiting schooled Bill (not using those words, of course). Sarah Palin is an idiot that needs to "start palling around with a map" because she told a group in Erie, Pennsylvania, on the western side of the state, that she was proud to be in the state of the World Champion Phillies. Western PA is Pirates country. Valley girl voice used for Ann Coulter. Coultergeist! [Ding!] Doctored photo with an eye patch used for the successful, but controversial, author, columnist, and attorney. Some lady in Michigan is evil for turning away kids on Halloween because they wanted a handout...or something.

Keith was just on "The View." It was a seven minute (it felt like it, anyway) lovefest...except for Elisabeth, of course. Barbara and Sherri actually admitted they watch his show and like it. We got Another Olbermann Lie as to why the Worst Person in the World began. He lied about how he'll treat Democrats now that Obama has been elected President. If anyone has their own recaps or video, or both, please feel free to share them here.

So the Palin reference made during SNF was a "cultural reference".

Keith when asked by Hasselback if he will say something when the Democrats screwed up, said yes.

Keith says he doesn't vote. It's a "symbolic gesture". He might have been joking when he said it, I doubt it but that was the first and maybe last time I watch The View from start to finish. Ugh.
