It's bad enough when you can't keep your stories straight from one day to the next. But with the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann, he can't keep his stories straight from Monday morning to Monday night!
He did it for the lulz?
What's funny is when KO is caught lying, there's no copy pasta on the clips.
Where oh where are the pathetic defenders of Keith Olbermann?
Where oh where are the dishonest and hate blinded hacks like MikeH, prepared with talking points?
Keith Olbermann is a liar. He claims to want an honest and logical process, ignoring partisanship, to conclude what is best for the country....
yet.....
on his "news hour" he lies about his own preparation for a 7 minute silly hit piece that does nothing other than feed the hatred and stupidity of a group of people I like to call, "the church of SNOBamessiah."
Ah, yes....fanatics who claim to want what is best for the country, yet cannot seem to recognize their world-view is based on ideas that will lead to the decline of the values our nation has always defended....
freedom, liberty, true justice.
As a "journalist" and his fellow fanatics deal in stereotypes, snark and lies, they reap what they sow....the "unity" that is sought by some will never be because of such vitriol and that tactics that were good for them to use will be used against them......
All the better.
VERO POSSUMUS!
"I haven't seen the tape yet... I mean seriously." - Keith Olbermann
What a shmuck.
After viewing the Palin-turkey clip, I'm still trying to figure out what was, as Martha Stewart claims, "especially gruesome".
Three weeks after the election and obsessed Olberdouche is still riding Sarah Palin's skirt? Keith's masturbatory-esque reporting on Palin is ultra-spooky... but on par with (MS)NBC's ethics and standards.
good video ... love it
Busted! So right about the black sweater. Memo to KO: Black sweaters are NOT slimming.
I guess I don't understand this. Both KO and Martha S. are so smart. Worried about turkeys...unconcerned about abortion. They aren't concerned about our bravely serving military OR insider trading. It was so obvious MS was setting up KO. Martha Stewart is an elitist and KO is an elitist wanna-be. Behind his back they are all laughing at his hubris. Another memo to KO: Don't call us...we'll call you.
I personally wish Gov. Palin had axed the turkey's herself. Marthat could show KO how to do it. That B***H can do anything.
They pick on Palin for letting America see how their Thanksgiving dinner starts out ...
well, aside from the fact that people should get over that aspect of it ...
Isn't it the fault of the cameraman who set up that position?
I loved the video, Johnny. He just had to make a "WKRP" reference. Classy. And he told at least two other Olbermann Lies on "Martha":
1) He claimed Walter Matthau loved his work.
2) He referred to his show as a "newscast." What David Brinkley and Chet Huntley think of that? Well, he'd probably claim they loved his work, too; especially Brinkley, since he passed within the decade.
Gas-bag would have gotten a good beat-down in my neighborhood for using the word " abatuar".
There's just something even more insufferable about Olbermann these days. Now that the election is over and his man-crush Obama has won, he's breezing through his show with an arrogant smirk like some rich teenage boy who just popped his cherry with the cougar next door.
Some extra-galling points from his #1 story from Wednesday, Nov. 26:
Not quite willing to give up Sarah Palin (he even jokes about contributing to her campaign just to keep her around to make fun of her), Keith showed a slate.com parody of the turkey video in which the background has been replaced by several overly bloody movie clips.
Here's where Keith cranks up the BS in this broadcast:
First, there's the PC blurring of the turkey as it's being put into the machine.
Then, he refers to the video as "Palin's turkey atrocity." Atrocity? Really? The routine killing of turkeys raised as a food source to be used as a food source. That's an atrocity? So millions of families can enjoy thanksgiving dinner? Really Keith? Is Olbermann secretly taking kickbacks from PETA?
Then he shows a clip of then-Gov. Bush bowling a turkey, in which Bush jokes that "turkeys can vote"
Olbermann then says "Turkeys can vote. Must explain the last 8 years"
Really, Keith? So anyone who voted for Bush is a turkey? Is that really what you meant to say? People who actually bothered to vote, which is more than you can admit to doing, are turkeys when they disagree with you?
Funny thing is, had a conservative said a similar comment about the intelligence level of an Obama voter (something along the lines of pointing out that 63% of people with no high-school education voted for Obama http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#USP00p1 ), that person would be immediately branded as a Worst Person in the World.
The 360-degree view from Keith's glass house must be pretty good.
Ratings news for Nov. 25:
Olby can't even beat O'Reilly's guest host, even in the key demos:
8PM - P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
The O’Reilly Factor—2,675,000 viewers (532,000) (987,000)
Campbell Brown—1,078,000 viewers (344,000) (471,000)
Countdown w/Keith Olbermann– 1,511,000 viewers (508,000) (831,000)
Nancy Grace –1,053,000 viewers (379,000) (564,000)
http://tvbythenumbers.com/2008/11/26/cable-news-ratings-for-tuesday-november-25/8853#more-8853
Former Rep. John Kasich sat in for O'Reilly, but as we know, Olbermann decided to do a real show.
And the slow post-election decline of an Obama propagandist begins.
Did Keith attack BOR last night?
No. O'Reilly has been off this week (but the guest hosts are still beating Olby in the ratings across the board), so Olby has had to pick on other people.
Last night he ripped on Glenn Beck for suggesting states that didn't vote for Obama should look into seceding. Olby cited the Civil War as proof that states don't have the right to leave, which shows he doesn't have a grasp of the subtleties of history. The Civil War just proves states can't secede if they don't have a superior military. Olby called trying to leave the union "treason," which is a loaded word and an implication the federal government can never lose its way. Funny how Olbermann would seem to lose his understanding of the Declaration of Independence just a few weeks after quoting it ("all men are created equal") while bashing Dennis Prager.
He also said Beck "left reality-based news to join Fox." So another baseless attack from Olby against his betters at Fox, the network that at one point had employed Olbermann and then canned his ass.
I wonder if KO will try to downplay the recent terror attacks in India now that his guy has been elected like he has other Terrorist threats in the past? New Murrow indeed.
The attacks were dogs that didn't bark on OlbyPlanet--*and* MaddowPlanet--last night; no mention at all.
I know BOR's been off, but in the past, Keithy has found anything anywhere to attack him, even when he's off.
Speaking of BOR, it took me two months of reading and listening on and off, but tonight, I finally completed "A Bold, Fresh Piece of Humanity"! Next up for me is "Tales from the Dad Side" by Steve Doocy. I met Steve at a book signing here on Long Island a few weeks ago.
Hey tonight (Friday) there was no Olbermann. Instead they had, "Caught on Camera".
How apropo. N'est pas?
Tonight, Keith Olbermann will have another attack of cognitive dissonance when he sheepishly accepts the leader's choice for Secretary of State.....
"But Senator, we cannot forgive you this.
"'You know, my husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.'
"We cannot forgive you this -- not because it is crass and low and unfeeling and brutal.
"This is unforgivable, because this nation's deepest shame, its most enduring horror, its most terrifying legacy, is political assassination."

Ah, what the adherants to the church of SNOBamessiah must do to exist....They must forget and forgive, even when they claimed, "NEVER!" Remember now, Olbermann also used the pronoun, "WE."
Poor, poor Olbermann will report tonight on the presentation of Secretary of State Hillary "Bobby Kennedy was assasainated in June" Clinton and will have to decide to ignore his previous anger.....his conclusion on her very UNDIPLOMATIC words during a brutal democrat party primary that was winding down....a primary that showed the best of America.
....oh....wait a minute.....that's fact that does not fit into the hope n' change veneer that is presently being peddled as reality....sorry....go back to the myth......
Where are my atheist and agnostic friends from the far left when I need them to discuss the mythology of religions?
VERO POSSUMUS!
Of course, tonight Keith will hammer Obama's choice of Hilary, but from the previews it appears he's going to go on another Palin run. I think he's secretly obsessed with her.
Honestly, he could of just been told what the video contained before going on Martha. Never said he seen it himself but had heard about it. He admitted he heard some of it.
I think the suspicious nature of the statement lies in his laying out the comparison with WKRP in Cincinnati, which he then used on the show.
Besides, can anyone believe anything done on this show is spontaneous?
