Tonight's Gregalogue on "Red Eye" will be about our pal Rip 'n Read:
http://www.dailygut.com/?i=4057
"Today's Gregalogue is about Keith Olbermann's segment last night about Red Eye. I'm not posting it because i want it to be a surprise!"
This ought to be good.
Something bored me on The Factor so I checked out Keithy....and caught the first part of his Top 25 list of malefactors. I didn't go back and check but it seems that he mentioned "Republican" for all Republicans but nary a "Demoncrat" mention. Typical. But maybe he actually was presenting a fair and honest list.....but maybe I'm high on crack.
For Worser in WPITW, Keith decided to make fun of Dick Morris and Bill O'Reilly for saying Patrick Fitzgerald's name wrong. They were saying Fitzpatrick. Not too big a deal I guess, but Keithy decided to have fun with it.
If getting that detail wrong gets you on WPITW, why didn't Keith ever name Rev. Wright WPITW in the past week? Wright only condemned Dec. 7 as the anniversary of the day the U.S. dropped atomic bombs on Japan, killing 80,000 people. Except Dec. 7 is Pearl Harbor day, when Japan bombed us! In the worst attack on our soil until 9/11. That's not worth a WPITW?
Olbermann certainly knows how to cheapen the word "worst," doesn't he?
I was unable to find a blue blog source for that blunder, which was immediately corrected.
I don't think Olby mentioned political parties for either side in his corruption list
Oh man, Gutfeld hit that Gregalogue out of the park tonight on KO. I'm sure Olbermann will have something to say about it later today. The "beeps" were classic during Greg's rant about how homophobic KO is over O'Reilly.
I'm sure America47000 will have a recap of the rant later on today, but I'm setting my TIVO for later tonight.
Great job Greg and the crew from Red Eye
Of ratings Krazy Keith likes to brag
But Kountdown does more than just lag
Let's check the score:
Bill has two million more
Krazy Keith needs an order to gag
Worst was yet another O'Reilly attack! Blue blog source: The Daily Beast. That's "Beast," not "Kos."
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-12-09/who-started-the-war-on-christmas/
From the MSNBC transcript:
"OLBERMANN: But our winners Bill O. [Ding!] and another shared honor with his factious fixed news [Ding!] colleagues Gretchen Carlson about that imaginary war on Christmas. A co-host reminds her ..."
Yes, "a co-host." We're not going after Steve and Brian here. They are not our targets tonight. Right, Vendettamann?
"Meantime, Bill O. [Ding!] has reached new levels of this delusion [Ding!]."
After ripping and reading a BOR quote from his source, Man on Fan entones:
"No, you wait and see.
[Olby's source] traces the history of this bull crap about a war on Christmas and unfortunately it ties Bill O. [Ding!] and Gretchen Carlson and Chris [Buttars] and John Gibson and "The Wall Street Journal" and all the others, directly back to anti-Semites and white power crazies.
[The source author's] research says this first appeared in a 1995 book ... in which an anti-immigrant writer ... said the use of happy holidays was a symbol of quote [Ding!] weird aliens with dubious habits who had begun to erode America's white Christian, quote [Ding!], ethnic core. This even though Brimelow is himself an immigrant to this nation from England. Four years later [the writer] founded ... [yada yada yada].
And now the cause of these racist and anti-Semites has been picked up by Bill O'Reilly and Gretchen Carlson and FOX News. Today's worst persons in the world."
I accidentally left in the last name of the author whose name I trying to withhold. Sorry about that.
