When the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann attacked Red Eye the other night, we knew the blowback would be coming. Host Greg Gutfeld delivered the smackdown, and ombudsman Andy Levy followed up with a few parting shots:
Andy Levy cracks me up, lol
Though I can believe this, cause really who watches Red Eye? Its on late at night and they don't take themselves seriously.
My guess is Greg won't get WPITW for that unless its leaked he said Bill O'Reilly every time he was censored when ripping on Keith.
I love this.
From my recap the other day:
"Any actual journalism ever in trying to get anyone from Fox to actually comment on this non-story?"
and now confirmed in the video that, of course, *he didn't*
Of course he slams O'Reilly in Billo's row with the New Yorker over claiming they won't be on The Factor even though they weren't asked. Even though they were and declined.
It seems Olbermann's all about trying to play real journalist until it comes to his personal vendetta against Fox News. But we all know Olby isn't really a journalist. He's just a blue blog with airtime.
How is Olbermann supposed to respond to Greg Gutfeld?
"I HOPE THEY'RE NOT PAYING YOU IN OIL!"
Olby slips to third?
Last night's ratings are going to be interesting to behold. According to preliminary data, the Caylee Anthony story may have propelled Nancy Grace past Olbermann for Thursday, Dec. 11:

Maybe ranting about a minor detail of getting someone's name wrong isn't going to get the job done anymore ...
I loved that!
Ah, nothing like a direct frontal assault on Olbermann's insanity.
Greg has posted the script (not transcript) of this wonderful Gregalogue:

Here's the part featured the bleeps (what got bleeped is in CAPS):
"As for Olbermann, lets face it: the guy is a GREAT GUY. I mean, so what if he likes to HELP OUT troubled young women. Or the fact that he uses his job to shamelessly HELP THE UNDERPRIVILIDGED, impressionable secretaries. And did you hear that he SPENDS HIS TIME HELPING KIDS WITH head injuries? I read somewhere he RELAXES QUIETLY IN A bathtub. Nude.
He is the LAST GUY you would see banging a drug-addicted stripper. And he WOULD NEVER steal her coke, and do a line off her baby daughters head.
What a HERO."
The Red Eye segment must have been so devastating to mighty Olbermann he didn't even bother to show up to do his show tonight.
What will be fun to watch is if Keith massive ego will get the better of him and force him to make Greg WPITW. This would further elevate Red Eye and launch Keith into a war he just can't win. Greg already out smarted Keith by baiting him into showing a clip of Red Eye on melt down. Anyone who regularly watches Red Eye knows that they regularly make jokes about O'Reilly, Hannity, and John Gibson and they are never censored. Greg obviously knew that he had a left wing "journalist" from High Times on his show and that it might get back to Olbermann through the blue blogs that O'Reilly's name had been bleeped. Greg basically got free pub for his show on another networks highest rated show. Something I am sure Red Eye could use.
South Park conservative Gutfeld is the funniest/wittiest/fastest thinking guy on TV. Close second is his lefty/liberal sidekick Bill Shultz. The libertarian Andy Levy has his moments too.
The scatalogically hilarious Red Eye makes you realize just how monumentally unfunny Jon Stewart and his fifty writers truly are.
The show is laugh out loud genius, IMHO. Despite 70% guests being libs/Obama supporters, GG's conservative take rules the show. And he is, of course, way way sharper than he pretends to be.
I hope the dumb humor bypassed Olbermann really tries to take on the Gregster and his crack Red Eye team.
They will crush his ego day after day. Olbermann is about as funny as a clown choking on a ballon animal he just made for his mother-in-law. Though that is pretty funny, now I think about it.
And if you disagree with Jack, then you sir are worse than Hitler. :D
Mike C. Well spotted sir.
I am indeed worserer than Hitler. Seig Halle Berry.
I could see it now.
This Olbermann comment brought to you by David Gregory's hair. Now its time for....MALE CALL!!
lol not even Keith has a mail segment, yet his wallet is full of printed out emails from his colleagues.
Jack, I was saying that if anybody disagreed with you, they'd be worse than Hitler. You're fine.
Lafinman, he could also say for Male Call: "Oh, what do we have here? The packages have arrived!"
The episode featuring the Olby-bashing Gregalogue is re-airing on FNC right now!
Mike -- yes, I did realize my third person mistake after posting!
I was having a Shultz moment, and hoped you wouldn't notice. I am praying Olbertool makes a Red Eye reference tonight.
He knows deep inside he shouldn't but as a major tool. he won't be able to stop himself.
Unlike O'Reilly, Olbermann hasn't decided to ask viewers to spam other media organizations.
