Update ... TVNewser has slightly different numbers that still show great news for Hannity, and bad news for Olby's sagging ratings.
http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/the_scoreboard_monday_jan_12_105702.asp
Listening to the video ... we let these people vote?
It was bad news for Keith at 8:00, but shockingly good news for him at 10:00. How'd *that* happen?
Worse news is that NBC Universal has shut down the OlbyWatch YouTube channel!!!!
Meanwhile, "Hannity" featured an in-commercial tease for the next block...just like "Countdown." The minor similarities continue to add up. Different points of view keep "Hannity" from being exactly like "Countdown." Also, no bombast or smearing.
Krazy Keith and his live-in slut
Seventeen when he cracked the nut
She's from UCSB
Coincidentally
She's dumb and can't keep her mouth shut
I find it absolutely astonishing the pair that this terribly insecure individual displays nightly... He actually brings up how his boy Rach got 20 percent better ratings in the demo, ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
If Hannity didn't absolutely trash Maddow and King I can see the tax cheat bringing THAT up, but to bring up how H n C lost the demo by a margin, when Hannity's first show POUNCED the competition is simply amazing.
Ya'll need to really think long and hard how terrible it is to be the tax cheat. Seriously. Much like Obama, if he doesn't perform for his lemmings, NIGHTLY, he's gonna be out fast. Obama at least has almost a half decade, Olby, who knows.
Finally, I still continually find it disappointing that there isn't a counter point to fat ass. No, not ideologically, as surely Bill or Sean will be brought up. (Gasp, they actually have those that DISAGREE with them on their shows.) But with equal bile filled sarcastic smarmy related bits.
The closest that comes to mind is Greg Gutfeld, but he's on at 3:AM, and for obvious reasons. But how I would love for at least Gutfeld to have a WPITW segment, and or even Sean. The ammo they would have!
Let's remember that in Keithy's warped reality the outlier is actually the baseline. Remember during the campaign he once harped about a poll that had Obama with a 12-point lead, while all the others were around 6 points, and the one at 3 points he said was a clear outlier? Same thing here. He pounces on ratings outliers as if they are the gospel, and then doesn't come clean with what he's actually reporting on.
He only looks at the 25-54 demo in the live-show segment, which for him and Billo is 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific, and for Rachel and Hannity is 9 p.m./6 p.m.
So she pulled a thin margin of victory on one day in the 25-54 demo, which she does occasionally (more than KO actually wins anything), while losing in total viewers and the other demos.
But this is only in the live show. When you start adding reruns, MSNBC falls further back. Note that KO and Billo are only head-to-head in the live hour. After that, MSNBC staggers the reruns so they aren't competing against the same shows as the earlier hour. Could this be because KO doesn't want a direct comparison from all the rerun hours as well? Many West coast viewers have to catch the reruns, so the ratings numbers for the reruns can't be discounted. And the Hannity rerun comes on at midnight/9 p.m., and thus the numbers aren't listed with the other shows.
So, not having a direct comparison across all time slots lets KO just focus on the head-to-head number, dismissing the notion of the reruns because the competition is different. It's statistical sleight of hand that does take a degree of balls, but no spine. Such statistical manipulation is a common enough tactic for a propagandist, and KO is certainly no slouch in that department.
Funny how KO never mentions it's Hannity and Colmes. Is he so sure that any ratings sag is due to Hannity, and not people who are sick of Colmes and just counting the days until Sean goes solo? Funny how in Olby's mind any decline in that show are always attributable to Hannity, as if the other guy has nothing to do with the show.
And funny how KO wants to throw out selective ratings data while sitting in a distant third-place in his own time slot.
From an emailer:
I normally don't watch the Countdown show anymore, but caught something while channel surfing tonight.
Keith Olbermann was talking with Newsweek's Jonathon Alter who describe something being done with a tool. Olbermann, transitioning to a story about George Bush, said, with a smirk on his face, "speaking of tools". Made me so made I turned off the TV. I don't mind his not liking Bush, but to have such lack of respect for the office of the presidency and those of us that still have some manners, well, what more can I say.
America4700, from your lips to Gods ears... But like I said, it is just unfortunate that there is not a counter weight to his fat ass in regards to his smarmy sarcastic pissy bile he spews nightly.
Anyone know how to contact Greg Gutfeld!?!?

#2: The Media Matters Minute.
Worse was Lou Dobbs. Blue blog source: Media Matters. http://mediamatters.org/items/200901130005
Nothing worth quoting for Sweet Lou (my nickname a la the late Phil Rizzuto's nickname for Lou Piniella).
Worser was Sean Hannity, featuring an ancillary O'Reilly attack and a Maddow 25-54 demo win pimping. Blue blog source: Media Matters (again?). http://mediamatters.org/items/200901130009
"Our runner-up, the manatee [Ding!], trying to steal the censor the black folk issue from Bill-O [Ding!]." A lousy Sean impression was done here. "But sadly, no discussion about a man Hannity calls his friend, musician Ted Nugent, who was shown on Hannity's program in August of 2007 calling Hillary Clinton a, quote [Ding!], "worthless b****," unquote. It is a cleared and stridently adhered to moral compass like that one that enabled Hannity, on the farewell night of 'HANNITY AND COLMES," to lose in the ratings to Rachel by 20 percent."
Worst was Another O'Reilly Attack! Blue blog source: HuffPo. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/12/christopher-hitchens-deba_n_157341.html
"But our winner, Bill-O the Clown [Ding!]." The Ted Baxter voice was likely used here to quote the HuffPo video of Monday night's Unresolved Problem segment...which featured an interview with Christopher Hitchens, something Herr Olbermann conveniently left out. Instead, he went ad hominem. (Of course.) "Bill, I'm supposed to take you seriously when your first evidence to support your argument on a vital issue of our time is clip from one of the ludicrous TV shows of all time? Oh, wait, it just hit me. Billy [Ding!] doesn‘t know Jack Bauer isn't real. I'm sorry. Bill-O the clown [Ding!], who thinks "24" is some sort of Fox documentary, today‘s worst person in the world!"
Bathman, we're supposed to take *you* seriously when you lie and deceive every night? ...When you never have guests on that disagree with you? Oh, wait, it just hit me. Keith is a Fox hater, an O'Reilly hater, and above all, a slovenly political hack.
I just realized there was more deception in promoting a Maddow demo win from Friday night last night. As America47000 noted early in the thread, on Monday night, the premiere of "Hannity" beat Rachel at 9PM in total viewers, the 25-54 demo, and the 35-64 demo. The ratings for last night have not been released yet.
Oh Mike I totally disagree with you and that rarely happens.
I believe one has to be somewhat politically active and have a reputation of being so before they can be downgraded to a political hack.
Calling Bathtub Boy a political hack only leads one to believe was somewhat respectable before he became a political hack. Which is pretty far form the truth. I prefer to call him an egotistical self-absorbed looney.
The "slovenly political hack" term dates back to when J$ handled the recaps. I've based my recap writing style on his.
The ratings for last night have "Hannity" dropping 30% in viewership.

"The "slovenly political hack" term dates back to when J$ handled the recaps."
Good memory! That was a phrase Oralmann applied to some writer he didn't like. So naturally it went straight into the Olbersaurus and become part of our arsenal for democracy.
Thanks, Johnny.
Ah I learn something everyday, ok now it's funnier. lol
