I only caught the tail end of it, but the segment I saw was KO talking about the Obama daughters. I don't know why he spends so much time talking about them and what they're doing ( apparently they're watching High School Musical 3 tonight )
Does Bathtub Boy want them to move in with him?
On Day One the stock market tanks
But Olby will blow him "Great Thanks"
Obama-conomy
Stock market sodomy
Nationalize America's banks?
The guy just can't let Bush go:
"At least he left on time"
"He went to a rally in Midland Texas where 1800 tickets were still available, and the tickets were free."
A-hole
BOR said he would show something from NBC News--by which, he means MSNBC--tomorrow night on "The Factor." Do any of you expect a counterattack from Mr. Man on Fan?
I mean a harsh thing that was said today on "NBC News" (MSNBC). Knowing BOR, it wasn't something that Keith (or even Ms. Rachel) said. Chris, Geno, or someone else said it, I guess. I assume everyone here watched MSNBC at some point today. What did you pick up?
Everyone but me, by the way. I kept my distance. It was FNC and Fox (until WNYW went to their local coverage). I had to switch to ABC a few times during "Glenn Beck," but switched back when ABC brought in Sally Quinn. No, thanks.
I dunno I caught an Obama montage at the end and it showed a clip of the movers bringing in his stuff and Matthews said "get on the bus gus."
But this sparks my interest. Can't wait to catch the Factor tomorrow.
I don't know about watching the "ball" recap on MSNBC I think I need Keith's shovel. Matthews has his head so far up Obama, it might come out the other side.
It's amazingly sad that it took 10 back 2 back appearances for team MSNBC to learn Obama just repeats himself over and over, changing the words only slightly to pander to the group he's with. Matthews is bored out of his mind and slowly realizing that the thrill (up his leg) is gone. Obama is just another boring DC politico. MLK said judge not by the color of skin, so why is everyone hung up on that part of Obama. Take away the race issue and Obama is just another guy, albeit well spoken, but just a normal guy.
I wish Keith had a snow thrower I could borrow in the future. It was a pain in the butt having to shovel on Sunday and Monday. Also, Thursday. And back on December 19.
so why is everyone hung up on that part of Obama

schuster looked a little annoyed after Baldwin brother FTP
Dirty Sexy Money ignored him and went on to confess his man crush on olbs. No doubt that will make one of the segments on tomorrows countdown. Any chance for Olbs to gloat that he has proof some d-list celeb watches him for will must not go unoticed here for.
So, Ken Burns was on with Olby gushing about Obama. So disappointing from Burns, who made the great Civil War and Baseball documentaries.
At the end he hinted at brining Olby on for interviews for the Baseball 10th Inning update.
Fat chance it will work but I'd love to see an outpouring of letters urging Ken Burns to NOT use Olbermann for the Baseball update. Even if he is a member of the Baseball Historical Society
Yeah I saw that clip America47k of him talking about Bush, even more classy was when Wolfff was on and the caption on the screen read "Bush is Out".
Watching the Ken Burns segment makes one think Obama is our best president ever. I mean this is beyond gushing.
Earlier I wondered what Meltdown will consist of in the future. It's obvious KO won't attack Obama on anything. But watching the Wolff segment gave me the answer.
KO will fish for anything that can be pinned on republicans, Bush, or even better his woman Palin. And without any opposing views he can successfully do this. Fixed News indeed.
Watching the news today it's like we're living in a Harry Turtledove novel. Obama being President doesn't seem like it can be real in anything but some strange alternate reality.
I wonder if there will be a centrist move from our new president on this issue....

Irony.
VERO POSSUMUS!
So the ratings for Monday's shows are all over the map. O'Reilly wins in total viewers but finishes third in the 25-54 demo behind KO and Campbell Brown. It's probably just pre-inauguration spikes, but what do you want to bet that KO takes the opportunity to brag about the outlier like he always does?

The inauguration throws everything out of whack for Tuesday. In terms of coverage of the ceremony, CNN finished first, Fox second and MSNBC third. NBC won among the broadcast channels

A very good column from Chairman Ann showing the intellectual dishonesty of our media.....It opens:
"It will not be easy for President B. Hussein Obama. More than half the country voted for him, and yet our newspapers are brimming with snippy remarks at every little aspect of his inauguration.
"Here's a small sampling of the churlishness in just The New York Times:
"-- The American public is bemused by the tasteless show-biz extravaganza surrounding Barack Obama's inauguration today.
"-- There is something to be said for some showiness in an inauguration. But one felt discomfited all the same.
"-- This is an inauguration, not a coronation.
"-- Is there a parallel between Mrs. Obama's jewel-toned outfit and somebody else's glass slippers? Why limousines and not shank's mare?
"It is still unclear whether we are supposed to shout 'Whoopee!' or 'Shame!' about the new elegance the Obamas are bringing to Washington.
"Boy, talk about raining on somebody's parade! These were not, of course, comments about the inauguration of the angel Obama; they are (slightly edited) comments about the inauguration of another historic president, Ronald Reagan, in January 1981."

Wow, what a difference....the schlock of Obama's inauguration was way more than Reagan's, with a lot more hype....but it seems Reagan, even with a smaller population, still got more viewers....
