Stupid speculation. That's what Keithee did tonight. He wants to believe so badly that Chaney and Bush dislike each other because Bush didn't pardon Scooter. It doesn't matter that no one knows if they really are still at odds over it. It doesn't matter that the clip of Rove Keithee played said that the chances of the two being driven apart because of the issue are practically nil. No, Keithee wants us to believe that the speculation is correct and worthy of a 5 minute segment.

The Tuscumbia, Mo bridge construction has been planned since 2007, this isn't really an Olby rip & read but it's worth noting

The Bristol Palin segment was a very good example of the differences b/w the motives of NBC-types and FOX. Olbermann, NBC, etc. automatically turn it into a political slanted story re: abortion, contraception, sexual behavior etc and use it to attack conservatives and Gov. Palin. It's absurd.

"Teacher( Miss Crabtree )!" A-Rod used the word 'medicine'! He said it twice! Miss Crabtree, Miss Crabtree, that lady accidently said the word 'penis'. She said it twice, teacher!" Teacher! Jimmy's shoe is untied again" .

Hello OW posters and lurkers. I hope to contribute from time to time.

Keith has peanuts envy. Keith redefines pro-choice. Bristol chose life for her baby and Keith declares her pro-choice. Keith cheap shots a young mother by injecting politics. Keith was semi-lucid talking about A-Rod. Keith's failure as a sports broadcaster is dwarfed by his failure as the host of a TV show. Keith just isn't good. Keith can't even ask a question in less than 50 words. Everything Keith does is a blue blog driven counter; no ground broken; nothing quotable or quoted by actual journalists.

Keith, in search of his peanuts.

WPitW includes an Oreilly attack and Olbs claimed BillO will have to make a retraction or face a lawsuit re: comments about whether or not NBC "paid" or "made" Octomom for interview. Olbs claims Billo said "paid" and then covered it up by editing transcripts....

Where the hell does he come up with stuff? I know he's pissed that he had to retract a comment he made about FOX but he can't be that desperate to get BillO, can he?

It's also interesting that both billo and rush are now regular, if not nightly, topics of discussion on KO's show considering it want long ago KO claimed " who care what (they) say! (they) dont matter anymore"

    Here's TIME's verdict on dailyKos:

Markos Moulitsas — alias "Kos" — created Daily Kos in 2002, a time he describes as "dark days when an oppressive and war-crazed administration suppressed all dissent as unpatriotic and treasonous." Be careful what you wish for. With the Bush years now just a memory, Kos's blog has lost its mission, and its increasingly rudderless posts read like talking points from the Democratic National Committee.

twelvepackaday, great summary. You got it all in there in less words than it takes Keef to frame the introduction to a question.

"It's also interesting that both billo and rush are now regular"

Well we knew it would be too hard for Olby to polish this turd of Porkubus package and Olby certainly would not want to cover the vote of confidence the stock market gave Obama today or the fact that since Obama became president, the stock market has dropped 2000 points. My guess is Olby's show is going to become a nightly attack fest on talk radio and Fox News. Slippery Shuster is now ripping off Olby's show by spewing blue blog propaganda. It will be interesting to see how long lunatic left will be interested in a daily recap of what was posted on the Daily Kos.

I wish I knew, irush. I couldn't find a source. I couldn't see Worse in the preview image on the "Countdown" website, but Worst was Rush Limbaugh (again?). Blue blog source: Media Matters.
We can assume "comedian [Ding!]" was uttered more than once.
By the way, the Bristol Palin attack came in #3. Laura Flanders (who?) was the guest.

Hi everyone. This is the article from Time Magazine on the Daily Kosthat newbie was referring to:,28804,1879276_1879093_1879090,00.html

(I hope that everyone can click on the link. If not, then cut and paste.)

Mike C., Laura Flanders is a far left radio talk show host and notorious Sarah Palin hater. Of course this is who Olby brings onto the 'news hour' to have a rational , thought provoking discussion.

Yeah, that Laura "Flounders" spews so much venom that I predict she'll be a regular guest soon.

#5: "Signed, Sealed, Delievered," which I was able to write because it's in the OlbyFlood. "Now What? Good Evening from New York. Rote complaint number 236 out of the Republican handbook: The Obama Stimulus could not possibly take effect fast enough..." Yada yada yada. The Cheerleader for All Occasions entered Oralmann's agreement bubble.
Then, time to bash Eric Cantor. Geno Robinson was on hand.

    #4: See Qpublic at 8:59.

#1: A-Rod press conference. Olby's sports pal Richard Justice stopped by.

Another by the way, Rush Limbaugh has an official transcript of what Keith named him Worst for (via Media Matters, if I'm correct):
I don't listen to Rush, but I'll defend him against attacks by what he calls the drive-by media, which includes Krazy Keith Oralmann.

Did Keith say of Ms. Flanders "playing a [insert occupation] tonight"?

Spot on re: "Flounders" becoming a regular. Olberpeanuts has no choice. "Ugenie out of the bottle," Fineman, and Wolfewoman are SO RECYCLED that their stale odor is begining to leak out on MY side of the TV screen!

That kookoo lady in segment 3 was unreal. When has Sarah Palin ever advocated for making it illegal to keep your baby? And I love they spin that Bristol said keeping her baby caused her to lose 10 yrs of her life, completing ignoring the fact that she said she loves being a mom. Sick, sick bunch of people. I should say selfish, selfish bunch of people. Heaven forbid a young mother decide to accept some responsibilty and look forward to raising a child and not just flush it down the toilet b/c it might not be the most conveinent thing.

That Eric Cantor "story" appears tissue-paper thin (surprise).

First, that report on (?) that Keith "ripped" today is actually a bit stale, having been posted on January 23:

I'm guessing this is because it is obviously now "get Eric Cantor" time for KO, and perhaps the left in general. If they run 3 or 4 negative stories in quick succession, perhaps a 'critical mass' of negativity can be built around Cantor and maybe destroy him. Is he a threat?

Contrast Cantor with, oh, I don't know, Senator Chris Dodd receiving huge amounts of money from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac over the years while leading the Senate banking committee charged with regulating them. Or receiving a sweethart mortgage from Angelo Mozillo (sp?) of Countrywide, one of the major purveyors of the subprime mortgage crisis. And now Dodd has gotten legislation to limit executive compensation at "bailed out banks"...laughable.

All I can find re: BillO octomom come from and page-six. Both are a stretch but I think I'm on the trail.

Is that the Jossip report that NBC paid for the interview 'under the table' so to speak?

I can't find Oralmann's Blueblog source on Bill O'Reilly, but here is the interview here he makes the comment. I couldn't find it on the Fox News website but it is available on this conservative site:

The relevant part is at around the 1:05 part of the video.

Yes j$, jossip has a few bit that is one of them

    Thanks, Jeff.

At 11:44, my post should have read: "...but here is the interview where he makes the comment...."

    My pleasure, Mike C.

I was thanking you for finding the source Keith used, but thanks also for finding the video from last night's "Factor."

My pleasure both times, Mike C. Thank you for all that you have been doing here on OW.

You're welcome, Jeff. It's tedious work and can be very draining, but it's worth it.

By irushbabyAuthor Profile Page on February 17, 2009 9:41 PM

WPitW includes an Oreilly attack and Olbs claimed BillO will have to make a retraction or face a lawsuit re: comments about whether or not NBC "paid" or "made" Octomom for interview. Olbs claims Billo said "paid" and then covered it up by editing transcripts...."

What would be the grounds for a law suit against O'Reilly?

Or is KO just being his normal AH self?

Keith Oralmann on Bill O'Reilly: the part where Keith says that Allison Gollust denies that NBC paid for the Octo-mom intrerview: Blue Blog source: TV Neweser

I think I know why Bill O'Reilly said that NBC paid for the interview:

Back on Feb. 5: the same website reported:

I see that Olbermann decided to overlook covering "Democrats behaving badly," in not devoting a segment to the continuing allegations of perjury against Obama's replacement in the Senate, Roland Burris.

Once again the church of SNOBamessiah is trying to isolate/marginalize the cancer of corruption from the greater democrat body politic (Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton, Chris Dodd, etc)....I recall no such consideration from the fanatics while Republicans held the reigns of power.....from accusations of pedophilia to lobbyist contacts.....

Oh the hypocrisy is just piling up for our good man, Herr Olbermann....the left's favorite, if not wilting in the ratings, great apologist.

He seems more concerned over a personal difference of opinion between the former President (who Olbermann ALWAYS branded a Cheney lackey) and his Vice President.....Once again Olbermann is shown to be wrong.

Bush is gone with Cheney in tow
But Krazy Keith can't let it go
    He's Bush-deranged
    Therapy's been arranged
For sessions two times in a row

Based on a tip from j$p has a new article up on the McCaughey-Olbermann fiasco. Olby may be in over his head again. He's drowning in retractions faster than the subprime market drowned in bad debt.

Johnny$- I'm not sure how to ads comments on your site, but re: your Dan Abrams post, it looks to me like the picture of the laptop on his homepage has dailykos up in the web browser. maybe i'm imagining things but they look awfully similar.

    Define irony ...

Olbermann slamming Fox for supposedly altering a Bill O'Reilly transcript, while Olbermann routinely does the same in order to smear O'Reilly.

So Olbermann is recycling his old 'transcript' lie again? He's tried that one before:

What Oralmann doesn't tell you is that Fox doesn't own the transcripts, doesn't make the transcripts, and doesn't even hold the copyright to them. Fox's transcripts are done by the same company that does MSNBC's transcripts.

    Another Olbermann Lie.

based on recent events we know what Olbermann thinks a "retraction" entails, so why doesn't Keith just apologize on behalf of BillO and FOX ?

As Johnny linked to J$P, last night's Top Story segment on "The Factor" was simulcast live just after 6:00 ET on "Cavuto" on FBN:
Larger "Cavuto" video can be found here:

Surely some juicy red meat for Olbermann to throw out tonight....a 2-fer also....Murdoch's NY POST and the accusation of the oppositions' racism against The One.....

Let us see if the left continues to play the regular old cards as we continue to fall into the abyss.

Cee, that HuffPo link opened infinite pop-ads. I had to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out of Internet Explorer. That's the second time that's happened to me with HuffPo.

How do you pronounce Betsy McCaughey's last name? I was thinking back and the transcript of countdown shows that KO referred to her as Betsy "McCoy"... Is it pronounced "McCoy" or "McCauh-hee"?

    nevermind, its pronounced mccoy

So Olbs sticks his foot in his mouth, again. He goes after this woman, again, and even insults anyone who advertises with MSDNC. Any chance this is the beginning of the end? I'm guessing probably not because simply, he has acquired too much power and those alleged friends of his in management, Kaplan et al, won't do a thing.

Now I only ask because lets be honest, he'd have to have an Imus moment X 3 at least to really get the tin hats up in arms. They might be tired of his schitck but are in no way going to leave him or revolt for anything LESS than an Imus frig up.

But I guess we can dream.

Sorry's another link for Olbermann's likely lifted story tonight on COUNTDOWN, from his favorite site.....

There seems to be a small group at this nutroots site who do not feel the cartoon is equivalent to a lynching, but their number seem to be growing smaller.

Let me get this straight. A Conservative makes a joke about a monkey, a Liberal thinks his use of monkeys must equate to black people, and the conservative is the racist?

More proof that it is the Liberal movement that is perpetuating racism in our society.

There's no question we are living in the twilight zone. The only question is how long we've truly been there.

I wonder if the folks at (you know, the discrete dating service that encourages men to cheat on their wives) were offended by Olby's "shill" comments.

Since Olby works for NBC, which is owned by GE, whose CEO is an Obama economic advisor, doesn't that officially make Olby a Shill for the Obama administration?

Now that black America (Al Sharpton) has weighed in with the mistaken knee-jerk reaction that the NY Post cartoon is racist (for using a monkey, I guess), after the Daily Kos and Huffington Post already ripped it, and since the NY Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch, you can expect Keith to rip it tonight. He may even name the cartoonist in WPITW.

The Liberal analysis of the cartoon is absurd. Sharpton and CNN's Roland Martin say anyone familiar with history would know it to obviously be racist.

Oh really? Which history? The one in which Thomas Nast used the chimpanzee to represent the Irish in his cartoons? The history in which the president doesn't write the bills Congress passes?

The cartoon is so clearly a jab at the inanity of the stimulus package, that is so ridiculous that even a monkey could have written it.

Sharpton needs to shut up. He'll probably be on O'Reilly or Hannity tonight to discuss it. O'Reilly will probably take the sane common sense view and Olbermann will blather on as usual.

    Twilight Zone.

"The cartoon is so clearly a jab at the ananity of the stimulus package, that it is so ridiculous that eveb a monkey could have written it."

While you're in the process of doing mental gymnastics in an inane attempt to defend the indefensable, why don't you pass along the punch line to us so that we can all laugh.

Jokes and comedy skits have punch lines, not cartoons.

Via the transcript, here is WPitW:
    Worse was not worth recapping.
Worser was Another O'Reilly Attack. "Number two, Bill-O the clown [Ding!]. As you know, everything bad in the world he perceives is caused by NBC, us and al Qaeda. Commenting again on Nadya Suleman's octuplets, he says, “she was paid by NBC to do the interview with ‘The Today Show.‘ I don‘t know how much. You know she was.”
You are full of it. You barely know where your elbow is. And this one will probably require a retraction, sir [Ding!]. My guess is there will be lawyers. The statement from my friend Allison Gollist (ph) of NBC News, quote [Ding!], “NBC News does not pay for interviews. [Yada yada yada].”
Doesn‘t leave you a lot of room there, Billy [Ding!]. Hint, retraction. This does explain why Fox scrubbed its transcript of O'Reilly's show to make it look like O'Reilly didn‘t say she was paid by NBC to do the interview, but as if he was actually said she was made by NBC to do the interview. Sleaze bags."

Repeating what Johnny said yesterday, "What Oralmann doesn't tell you is that Fox doesn't own the transcripts, doesn't make the transcripts, and doesn't even hold the copyright to them. Fox's transcripts are done by the same company that does MSNBC's transcripts. Another Olbermann Lie."

Worst was Rush Limbaugh (again?). "But our winner, comedian [Ding!] Rush Limbaugh, again rejecting bipartisanship. They returned to his insistence that he wants President Obama to fail." Think Propaganda transcript read here with a lousy Limbaugh impression. "Seriously, you are agreeing with me about how you have been unbridled by morality and how Bush tried to undermine the Constitution because it was an obstacle to him? I have got to be misreading this. And I am." Back to the impression which ended with: "... As I said last week, should Jesus have made a deal with Satan?”
Rush Limbaugh getting biblical. The Biblical [Pat Robertson] getting him back. Saying he hoped Obama failed was, quote [Ding!], ..." Rip 'n Read likely looked at a gotcha paper while reading Robertson's quote. (likely said with evil glee followed by bombast): "Pat Robertson said that about Limbaugh. Pat Robertson. Rush Limbaugh just got schooled [Ding!] by Pat Robertson. Comedian [Ding!] Rush Limbaugh, today's worst person in the world."

It was just last July that we had the "Obama Sock Puppet Monkey," which creators claimed they meant as a tribute to Obama. There was so much controversy over using a monkey to represent a man of African American descent that— whether or not YOU personally felt it was racist, you sure understood that a whole bunch of other people do.

Now we have the cartoon with a chimp which (to a lesser extent) falls into the same category. WITH THE SAME RESPONSE by the perpetrators/defenders.
"My goodness, we didn't mean Obama."
"Why are you people so touchy anyway"
    "It was just a (joke)(cartoon)(satire)."

America4700 says that chimps were used to represent the Irish in cartoon. Most ethnic groups have been subject to the same forms of violence, discrimination and ridicule. Does it make it any less hurtful?

Maybe, just maybe, you might consider that the group offended against gets to decide if they were offended. As in, if a white person tells a joke about lynching a black man, the fact that the white man is perfectly fine with it, but black people may not see the humor, needs to be taken into consideration.

But, at least, please spare us all the feigned shock and surprise. To black people especially, this has gotten really, really old.

"Maybe, just maybe, you might consider that the group offended against gets to decide if they were offended."-SA

Perhaps you meant to say, "the group that felt offended" instead of "the group offended."

BTW, just wondering what group to which you are referring.

As far as I can tell the two people responsible for The Porkulus Bill were Pelosi and Reid.

How does that count as a racist slur against President Obama?

"Maybe, just maybe, you might consider that the group offended against gets to decide if they were offended."

But that's just an invitation to let anybody be offended by anything, which is just another way to stifle free speech.

Oh, please. Good manners doesn't mean you have to DELIBERATELY offend a select group of people. Free speech is just fine and the comedians/writers that use it, can skewer just about anyone. And they accept any fallout. The don't cry, "Oh, we had no idea."

Yes, I am referring to black people. African-Americans and about twenty other minority groups at the university where I work. Yes, they were offended.

There's no evidence the cartoon was meant to deliberately offend.

Sorry, but just saying it's obvious doesn't cut it.

Well, they certainly have the right to feel offended. They don't have the right not to feel offended. They have the right to their opinion of their perceived intent of the cartoonist. They do not have the right to determine the cartoonist's intent.

As A47 said, saying it doesn't make it so.

Read, but did not acknowledge your post:
"Perhaps you meant to say, 'the group that felt offended' instead of 'the group offended.'"

No, but I should have. Of course, you are right. Accuracy is preferred. Accuracy is a good thing. Thanks.

"There's no evidence the cartoon was meant to deliberately offend."
Also correct. Other than cartoonist past submissions, but even that cannot be used to mean "it was meant to deliberately offend." You are right.

If you can find a previous Sean Delonas cartoon in which he uses a chimp to represent black people, by all means post the link here.

I'll say it again. Between Sean Delonas and Al Sharpton, the one who equated the chimp with Obama was Sharpton.
