It sure was a great idea letting Krazy Keith and his lunatic posse anchor hard news coverage, right? Listen as they groan "Oh God" and laugh as Gov Jindal begins to speak:
Politico sez it's Oralmann. We're not convinced. What say you?
UPDATE: Inside Cable News says enough is enough!
doesn't sound like him but he could be softly mumbling it. but still a very cheap shot.

Hey! It MSOBAMATV, what did you expect? A professional, fair balanced presentation?
Hey! It MSOBAMATV, what did you expect? A professional, fair, balanced presentation?
I'm trying to find video of it, but I heard on the wire that Chris Matthews said " The Republicans outsourced Jindal to speak for them"
To quote one response to that. "Lame and racist."
Oh I love it when MSNBC decides to have these 3 cover these things.
Found it. God they suck, this isn't even entertaining.

This is the House That Olbermann Has Built. Appalling. Remember when NBC was Booed at the Republican National Convention? Brokaw, Gregory, Mitchell and Brian Williams must cringe when they hear that crapolla.
It was Olbermann. Had to be. He's the only one w/ an open mic at the time.
Seriously, it's amazing this hack has such a high-profile position w/ NBC. He's not even professional, he's a cartoon character.
And in a correction he just said they outsourced it to someone outside of congress. But outsourced, hey if KO can connect an Ape to a Obama, connecting outsourced to an Indian isn't that hard.
btw ridiculious. Maddow was shock, she was flabbergasted, couldn't take it anymore oh boo hoo hoo. KO laughing and then you got Matthews drooling all over himself talking about stuff no one was paying attention too.
They deserve 3rd place. I've seen High school news programs on local cable that have had more porfessionalism then MSNBC.
( btw that's totally Bathtub Boy in the posted video )
I heard matthews. Olbermann has to much difficulty controlng the volume of his voice.
I've changed my mind. Upon listening to the clip several more times, I would say it is absolutely Olbermann caught on that open mic.
the more I hear it that's Olbermann hands down.
Gonna make an Olbermanesque prediction here and now: Tomorrow, Bathtub Boy will admit that yes, it is he groaning " Oh, God". And he will apologize for it. You read it here first.
As a former highly trained linguist and airborne voice intercept specialist, I have absolutely no doubt the hushed, prayerful plea was uddered by the dulcet toned, professional news anchor, LoBlo KO.
"jaws agape"
Logically, it can only be Olbermann. No one else on that set has the mendacity, and the omnipresent narcissism to pull a stunt like that. Hands down, Olbermann.
Look at this picture of Keith. LOL

Once again, MSNBC lets pundits and ideologues anchor hard news events, and once again it blows up in their face.
So insulated is the bubble known as Countdown, when Olbermann is confronted with someone (Jindal) who dares to disagree with HIS PRESIDENT, he can't even wait til his mic is off to start huffing and puffing.
No wonder the coward hid out in NY during the RNC last year.
Factor, between you, Dan and Absentee I've laughed more today then I have in a while.
You guys have a very good point that KO had the open mic so it was probably him.
I've been thinking that just maybe it wasn't an accident but done deliberately. Look at it from Olby's point of view. For the last several years he has progressively behaved in a way that no other network would tolerate. Called GWB a fascist, told him to "just shut the hell up", called him the "liar in chief" and on and on.
What consequences did he get? None. He instead got a big fat raise. He may have reached the point that he doesn't feel that HE has to exercise any self control b/c HE is the Mighty KO.
Just a thought.
" My crew left my mic on, they won't apologize, so I'll apologize for them "

" My crew left my mic on, they won't apologize, so I'll apologize for them "
Will he just be sorry or will HE BE DREADFULLY SORRY?
KO: "It was John Gibson's fault. John Sanders hacked into the network audio and inserted the "Oh God" comment as part of a job qualification test at Fox.
Newsbusters and Politico say yes, it is Olbermann. Of course it is.

The MSNBC replay of Jindal is coming on shortly. Betcha there's been some editing. Let's see...
I now hear Olbya
I think he was about to blow after way watching Beautiful Obama Theatre and he just could hold back any longer. It probably did help Mamcow was whispering sweet nuthinganin I'm his head set.
The middle-of-the-night replay from MSNBC, The Place for Politics:
"That's pure Obama," Rachel coos.
"He's delivering change," Matthews woos,
Keithy cheers, "Look Chris! Kisses! "Jaws agape."
Jindal's up, "Oh God," STOP THE TAPE!!
I was going to watch the replay for the Jindal thing, but got caught up in some Guitar Hero. Did they really stop the tape? lol if they did.
Another forum I frequent was full of n00b's to these kind of speech's. A good number of them couldn't believe there was a Republican response. Like, hello, there's always a response from the opposite party of the president. They also said the Republicans we're being childish by not standing up and clapping. Again, is this the first time they've seen this event? The opposite party always does that when tensions are high on the hill.
And this is from people who consider themselves politically active.
Inside of 3 minutes to the Jindal response, the replay suddenly cut to the opening of the post-Jindal edition of Countdown.
OK, everybody, all to gether now.....
'THE NEW EDWARD R. MURROW'
more like "get the shovel" out at MSNBC for this bonehead blunder. I seriously doubt you'll hear them apologize for this. I'll be shocked if they do. You know Rush, Sean, Gibby will be all over that in a few hours.
A tingle runs up Matthews' Leg
Keith's face always covered in egg
"Oh God" they got caught
Unbiased they're not
For a bone Butchie Madcow will beg
Well, whoever said, "Oh God," it was yet another example of the disingenuous of the radical left. Governor Jindal's speech had excellent points of logical, defendable and justifiable checks on the HUGE spending spree our federal government has decided to embark on.....
"Democratic leaders say their legislation will grow the economy. What it will do is grow the government, increase our taxes down the line and saddle future generations with debt.
"Who among us would ask our children for a loan, so we could spend money we do not have, on things we do not need? That is precisely what the Democrats in Congress just did. It’s irresponsible. And it’s no way to strengthen our economy, create jobs or build a prosperous future for our children.
"In Louisiana, we took a different approach. Since I became governor, we cut more than 250 earmarks from our state budget. And to create jobs for our citizens, we cut taxes six times — including the largest income tax cut in the history of our state.
"We passed those tax cuts with bipartisan majorities. Republicans and Democrats put aside their differences, and worked together to make sure our people could keep more of what they earn. If it can be done in Baton Rouge, surely it can be done in Washington, DC."

By deriding the republican response, Olbermann and his ilk, who are supposed to be "journalists," show their hypocrisy. Governor Jindal has an alternative ideology to that of the left and fairness calls for unbiased, unfiltered coverage. NBC NEWS decided that was not to be the case.
Those from the left that were so worried about our democracy under what Olbermann worried was "fascism," back in 2005 should open their eyes. When a simple response from a respected and respectful elected official is greeted with taking The Lord's name in vain and disrespctful laughter, on a news broadcast, our nation is diminished.
This is a new age of hatred and destruction. Olbermann and those he supports should be ashamed of themselves.
The church of SNOBamessiah once again showed it's true self last night.
VERO POSSUMUS!
Lafinman, I think "stop the tape" meant irush gave up watching after "Oh God." Jason Linkins at HuffPo says Chris Matthews will admit tonight that it was he who uttered "Oh God." Apparently, it was over the setting for Gov. Jindal's Republican Response and how he felt it was made to look like the East Room of the White House.
I actually buy that Matthews' utterance was due to the setting of Jindal's response. Of course, no other politician has every tried to use White House/Oval Office imagery in addresses/advertising...
The "Oh God" seems to have garnered all of the attention; I'm actually more flabergasted by Maddow's embarrassing (lack of) response after Jindal spoke. If MSNBC were a real journalistic operation, that performance would preclude Keith's nephew from ever appearing in a journalistic role again.
I saw that too, Mike.
I notice that he didn't include Mathew's blatant xenophobia and racism when he said of Govenor Jindal, a first generation Indian-American, that the Repubs "outsourced" the response to him.
What else could he have meant. Gov Jindal is a person of color and India is one of the largest beneficiaries of outsourcing.
Same here newbie, Maddow's response to Jindal was an embarrassment, the shocker being she gets paid to that. I wanted to watch the replay, so when I turned it over I heard them all talking and I thought it was over given they were talking about the speech and all. No I was wrong, it didn't even start yet.
From what I saw that night added with the clip of the post Jindal speech I'm guessing they were cheerleading Obama the entire night and then it became a republican bash after Jindal spoke.
I watched more Fox News during the event. And instead of concentrating how well Obama speeks, how glorious it all was, and how historic it is ( I swear KO used historic like 20 times in 30 seconds at one point ) they were reporting from all aspects.
Plus it was great to see Alan Colmes on The Factor last night. I actually miss that guy.
Newbie and Lafinman, you guys are no fun. I made a New Year's resolution to victim the victimized left right's industry and you two throw a cog in the wheel by being completely reasonable about it. :)
My scenario makes as much sense as the hysteria over the political cartoon this week.
S/B outvictim the victimized left
Sorry
Sure am glad I didn't bet the kid's medicine money! I was wrong. Olbermann is not the culprit who uttered the snide editorial comment.
Why aren't they fun, Grammie?
I hope this doesn't turn out to be a duplication. My first comment has been floating in the ether for about 15 minutes.
I was just jokingly teasing them. Mike.
I made a resolution that I was going to out victim the race and phobia professionals like Sharpton and KO over the Porkulus cartoon. And what do Newbie and Lafinman do? They bracket my self righteous racist and xenophobic comment between two very reasonable opinions that I actually share with them.
course NOW it's being reported that Matthews is the one who said it. but you know, the more I hear it, it sounds like KO. I think they put Matthews out there to keep all the heat from going over to KO, in my opinion. I dont believe that crap of it being Matthews one bit. I'm watching Hardball, and he never even said anything about the incident...you decide.
But I know that it isn't Matthews doing the "oh god" the voice is too low, even for Matthews, it's KO.
I knew Grammie was joking around, lol
Plus I agree meerkatpooh, there's no way that was Matthews. Listening to it so many times I can't connect it to him. Matthews has that unique midwestern sound to his voice.
I have a tendency to take people seriously when they're really joking. Sorry about that. :D
I'm inclined to believe it was Keith, too, for the same reason: the voice. But MSNBC wants Chris to fall on the sword for their moneymaker/ratings-deliverer, King Olbermahn.
Mike, no problem. Don't sweat the small stuff I always say.
That thought has crossed my mind too. Maybe we'll find out when Tweety writes his memoirs.
Matthews admitted to saying 'Oh God' in his intro to Hardball. He goes through a multi-point critique to Jindal's response, both on substance and appearance. When talking about the optics, he said, "Some of you heard my reaction at the time." So, no direct admission to the utterance and certainly no apology, but apparently we have an answer.
hmm maybe I missed it, but I will swear on Lincoln's bible it's not Matthews.
Michael Calderone wrote:
"However, I'll apologize to Olbermann for initially pointing the finger at him without having it confirmed. Even though I updated the original item within few minutes to say it was unclear, it's never alright in journalism to assume."
That's why Olbermann isn't a journalist, as he and his million or so morons claim he is. Olbermann commits that journalistic sin of assumption every time he rips and reads. He doesn't "speak truth to power" as this site's lone olbyloon, MikeHee, has claimed. He simply parrots liberal talking points. Albeit, with some of his own spice.
