Well apparently Wolffe and KO have already started their digs on Jindel, including the "alleged" Chris Matthews remark. Continue gloating boys, revenge is sweet when best served cold...it's going to get very cold boys in this new "socialist" world you helped to create.
Johnny, I swear I'm not making this up. No volume again. No volume on the MSNBC link that Haggard posted.
Is it my computer or is it my computer's operator?
And tonight's # 1 story...."DOGGY DECISION" on "THE PLACE FOR POLITICS." my ass n b c............
"Haggard" is Grammie's name for Haggis, a Newshounds troll in the comment threads at J$P.
Grams, I think it's the Indian not the arrow.
Tonight Olby launches a new front in his war on apologies and retractions. The Politico is now squarely in Olbs sights. I'm kind of surprised it's taken so long.
Sidenote- BillO is working up an ambush on some bank CEO tomorrow, I love those segments.
Ok now I have heard it ALL! Olbermonster and M.Carlson jsut had to throw in that the Bushes did not pick up Barney "mess"
Wrost!
he actually demanded an apologey from some guy over at Politco, HA! OF all people to ask for that holly crap!
I really can't not follow what the hell he was talking about with Bill'O and Hanity NO clue
Did anyone notice he was really in a good mood, he must have got the last conservative fired from MSNBC, or else someone rated the undercover conservatives..off with their heads..
Hey someone must be slippen him a fake rating update...I bet he still thinks his rating are going up and now down!

I'm only able to watch small parts of the show. At the beginning was the Jindal Jihad with some liberal basement dweller. Krugman was announced to come on to bash republicans. Olverpaid showed a clip of Mancow with Nancy Pelosi saying Senator leahy wouldn't be given immunity (yeah right) or some such bs. Olverpaid disgustedly brought up Repubs using twitter and mentioned Newt's tweets giving the Dem's talking points about why Newt was an idiot.
Newt's tweets
-Speaker Pelosi standing up to applaud the private jet line while she flies around in a government jet at taxpayer expense verges on bizarreabout 23 hours ago from TwitterBerry
-Nobody messes with joe and the smiles and nancy handshake resembled a democratic pep rally not a state of the union--sophomoric and silly
Olverpaid's dem written responses were
-The claim that Pelosi has same travel arrangements as Hastert got AFTER 9/11. Geez didn't OlberDouche claim BushCo has been hyping a non-existent threat for years? Now, the BillO tail chaser is bring up 9/11? And with Obama's election now Feb 2009 is as dangerous as Oct. 2001? -Olverpaid's snark that this speech wasn't the state of the union. Yeah, Presidential appearances in prime time where the President says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in front of joint sessions of Congress happen every other week. BTW what again was the point of Obama's address? The Bill is now law. It either works or it doesn't.
Hey I laughed hard when Bill said " We'll have him on tomorrow one way or another, if you know what I mean" lol classic.
But yeah #1.....The first canine. WTF. If there isn't a cable news version of " jumping the shark " I nominate this.
Can somebody confirm for me? It sounded like Krugmen (looking like a hostage broadcasting from a red bunker) actually said that he didn't see any coordinated plan by the Obama administration regarding the banking/financial system? At which point Keith failed to follow-up on that point and instead asked one of his 100-word statement/questions...
Lafin- Thats the BillO ambush I'm talking about, it was great. BillOs little quips have been pretty good lately. The Greta thing he pulled last week was good too.
I don't know why Olbs is so yippy-skippy lately, maybe Maddow slipped a few of Pelosi's happy pills in one of his 25 daily meals.
I have noticed that Keith is slowly trying to distance himself from his blog now that it's no longer the happening place for trendy liberals. HuffPost is the cool kid on the street now, look for Olbermann to show up their soon. This is pure speculation on my part, but I have a hunch it'll play out.
Gretchen Carlson is fond of saying "yippy-skippy."
I don't feel like recapping tonight. It looks like there was an O'Reilly Attack. What exactly happened?
Yeah I forgot to mention I was commenting on you irush, lol, but yeah I mentioned it cause I knew that's what you ment when you posted earlier.
The O'Reilly attack was pretty weak. O'Reilly's claim that UAW workers avaerage $70 was way off from a report by a newspaper Rupert owns which put it at $55. Ted Baxter voice was used. Of course no on screen proof just Obly's word on that. Which is a tatic he gave Mannity Worser for...Manity earned the top spot for making up stuff that's in the stimulus bill. After he shuns Mannity for making up the news, no proof from Olbermann that what he said wasn't in the bill. Just his word.
Meanwhile while I was flipping between that and UFO Hunters ( it was Area 51, normally I don't liek UFO hunters, but I'm an Area 51 geek ) I caught the end of Still Bushed.
After smearing Rove for not showing up to something we all knew he wasn't going to show up for cause he was at a fundraiser. Bush's new crime, Nursing Home Gate. And Bathtub Boy really emphasized the "new" part of it.
Now follow me on this cause I'm not 100% sure on this which will warrent a look at the transcripts. What Bush did was make a number of people of meda-care or meda-cad or whatever employees federal employees. This would make them immune to civil lawsuits. So that was the build up. Apparently the crime commited by Bush is how family's won't be able to sue Nursing Homes for the lost of love one. Add in a big spending number, I'm guessing he said 144 million or something I dunno, wasn't really paying attention. But in the end the was further proof of how Bush is still destroying our country.
I don't really see how that's bad, and proof that this was another weak attack by Olbermann he pleaded his case as to why he keeps the Bushed segment. So in the end he's looking out for us I guess. But again no proof, just his word. Rip and read, rip and read.
I'd look for the proof myself, but "real" news shows normally show it. Or at least throw something on screen and cutaway to anything that looks like evidence. For all I know he was reading stuff he printed off the internet and didn't have time for the producer to make a pretty graphic for it. They were too busy making the cartoon graphics of Bill and Sean for WPitW.
This would make them immune to civil lawsuits. So that was the build up. Apparently the crime commited by Bush is how family's won't be able to sue Nursing Homes for the lost of love one.
What does Olberbortion think is going to happen when the government ends up taking over most of the US healthcare? Once Obama has his hands on everyone's medical records and opponents records get 'accidently' released, you think they'll be able to sue the government? What a laugh riot, unintentionally!
Recap on Sean Hannity part of WPitW:

What Olby and Media Matters left out was this exchange that appeared after the Media Matters excerpt:
HANNITY: You passed — but you pass a bill — are you going to tell America tonight that that mouse isn't going to get a dime in San Francisco, that that — that that project is not going to happen? You’re going to tell American people that's not going to happen?
SESTAK: Sean, I believe that — that it shouldn't get one because the world is...
HANNITY: I didn't ask that. It's in there because it's for the harvest marsh mouse. The money is going to the marsh to save the mouse.
SESTAK: Sean, I can't be an ideologue. I'd have to be a pragmatic individual. So what I've done is this. I've looked at the models. And what I know from this bill that we have passed, the recovery bill, that if it had not passed between today and the end of June three million more Americans would have been laid off, and by December, we would have 12 to 13 percent unemployment. (...)
OMG! I can't believe this clown. I just listened to the clip at the top of this entry. Olverpaid referred to Obama's speech as a "non-state of the union, state of the union" speech last night, yet today he criticized Gingrich for tweeting the speech didn't "resemble" "a state of the union speech" during the speech last night(see my 9:17pm post above).
Longtime Olberabortion watchers, should I start buying adult diapers by the case now? HILARIOUS!!!
Knock the dust/rust off ol' Craig Crawford, the MOST audible mouth-breather on the air (or off the air), drag him onto the set, and have him parrot anything that Olber-non-mann wants parroted.
A Matched pair of D-bags.
Liontooth I knew something was missing that didn't make sense, thanks for pointing that out.
But yeah, mark it up for another topic that if Obama did that, he'd be praising it. Cause really I'm having a hard time finding the good or bad out of that one.
-- "The O'Reilly attack was pretty weak. O'Reilly's claim that UAW workers avaerage $70 was way off from a report by a newspaper Rupert owns which put it at $55." --
I didn't see what O'Reilly said (or thankfully OlberGoebbels) but I've seen both figures ($55, $70) used for the cost of building a car. They refer to 2 different things. Each UAW workers GETS PAID $55 an hour in wages in benefits but it COSTS GM $70 an hour in labor because GM is including retiree benefits because these payments are a part of their labor cost.
I wonder if OlberStalin unintentionally just misquoted what O'Reilly really said? HAHA
BTW no problem, anytime I can help Lafinman.
I couldn't believe he actualy DEMANDED an apology from the ppl at Politico. Hold you breath waiting KO...seriously, HOLD IT! You're not going to get one. He only did what we all did last night, listen to the tape over and over and come to a conclusion. He updated his site with he wasn't sure until he confirmed. It wasn't a "guess" he went by what others and what HE determined was "accurate" at that time. Much like you and your idiots there trying to figure out "Florida, Florida, Florida." Or have you forgotten that far back now bathtub boy.
I did notice he was exceptionally "giddy" today. Maybe he's wearing House Boys' underwear, I don't know.
Just a follow up on the apology. It appears that Calderone did just that.
(Below Transcript, and link)
I didn't realize Keith Olbermann reads the blog, but apparently he does.
Tonight, the Countdown host awarded me the World's Worst bronze award for two items from Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. So let me explain the sequence of events and why he thinks I did him wrong.
On Tuesday night, I initially wrote that Olbermann uttered "Oh God" before Bobby Jindal's response, not Chris Matthews. But within perhaps 5-10 minutes, after listening a few more times, I updated the same item to say that I couldn't say for sure who it was and put out multiple requests to MSNBC for confirmation.
By Wednesday morning, there was still no MSNBC confirmation. But after learning from a source that it was Matthews, I updated the original item, saying that I could now report it was Matthews.
On Wednesday afternoon, when I was informed that Matthews would address the "Oh God" moment on Hardball, I wrote a second item. And in that second item -- posted at 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon -- I mentioned having reported Wednesday morning that it was Matthews, and not Olbermann.
All of that is true and well-documented. So Olbermann is incorrect to say that I "pretended" to get it right the entire time. It's all very transparent, laid out in a few updates, as the story progressed.
Covering this story, as any on the blog, l try to let readers know when I can confirm something and when I can't. And I do think its safe for me to say that there was "some confusion," especially when it took about 10 hours to confirm who said what.
However, I'll apologize to Olbermann for initially pointing the finger at him without having it confirmed. Even though I updated the original item within few minutes to say it was unclear, it's never alright in journalism to assume.

In the Nielsens, Kountdown's a disgrace
Keith's rivals kick sand in his face
He's news corrosive
And ratings erosive
When it's prime time, Keith's in last place
Olby shows that he is a real Richard Cranium (d#@k head) I only saw a little of the show, saw were he demanded an apology. I guess he must be parodying SNL for parodying him. Richard Cranium / KO shoot from the hip without checking facts and when he wrong his responds not my fault. (Example was the facts vs. fat statement). The hey Richard have you forgotten the get a shovel joe comment. That your style that why you were blamed for it.
Imagine if you will, GWB claiming that America invented the automobile in a SOTU speech. He'd make at least one segment on Kountdown and Madcow for weeks on end.
Even though I can't stand Matthews, consider the self-centeredness of KO devoting one of his WPITW to the Politco guy for initially suggesting it was KO, and not Matthews, who made the "Oh God" remark. If you are truly a "team player" at MSNBC, you probably don't mention that comment during your show, and let Mathews deal with it. But no...Wolfe and KO joke about it during the first part of the show, then it re-appears in WPITW. If I were Matthews, I'd be steamed at Keithee.
Worser blue blog source: also Media Matters. http://mediamatters.org/items/200902250008
This was taken from Tuesday's Talking Points Memo.
A transcript is not available on FOXNews.com, but here's the video: http://tinyurl.com/bbnrso
And via the MSNBC.com transcript, Olbermann's Brain, Craig Crawford, was on last night in #3.
But before #2, Keith plugged an "exclusive interview" Rachel Maddow conducted with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. (shudder.)
And in the Media Matters Minute, Worse was Michael Calderone. "He reported thusly last night, ... He reported later last night, ... He reported today, ... Compare this to the website RealClearPolitics.com, which reported only what it could confirm, quote [Ding!], ... Mr. Calderone, you guessed. You guessed wrong. You pretended you got it right. You owe me an apology. And to Mr. Harris and Vandehei, who run Politico.com, if you let your columnists guess, you will become known as a website full of not experts, but guessers. In this case, bad guessers."
Another ruling laid down by Judge Olbermoronn.
Worser was Another O'Reilly Attack. Blue blog source listed above. "The runner up, Bill-O the clown [Ding!], who evidently just got the talking points [Ding!] telling him to lie about union salaries in Detroit." The Ted Baxter voice was used here. "Yes, you're full of crap. Barclays capital, the investment bank, kind of pro management, studied UAW salaries and benefits and concluded, at most, they average 55 bucks an hour, not 70. It was in Murdoch's own paper, Billy [Ding!], the “Wall Street Journal.”"
Worst was Sean Hannity. Blue blog source listed above by Jeff. "Speaking of bald-face liars, our winner is the Manatee [Ding!]. After Obama's speech last night, he interviewed Democratic Congressman Joe Sestak of Pennsylvania, and he told Sestak that the stimulus package contains 9,000 earmarks. Sestak challenged Hannity to name one. ... Sestak's response, ... Hannity's answer, ... He then told Sestak, ... The money for high-speed rail might wind up, in fact, being spent in the district of House Republican Leader John Boehner, as I mentioned earlier. There is nothing in the bail out for mice. But Hannity knows the truth. ... Where the money is going. Sean, you do not know your ass from your elbow. Sean, it's true because I made it up, Hannity, today's worst person in the world!"
There goes Keith TV-14 Olbermann again.
You guys might like Bill O'Reilly's column this week, "The End of Obama-Mania": http://tinyurl.com/dm9628
Here are the first three paragraphs:
"The TV ratings for February have been tabulated, and in the world of cable news, there is weeping among the left. The two networks that most favor President Obama, CNN and MSNBC, got hammered by the Fox News Channel, which is generally tougher on the president. In fact, Fox News was the third highest prime-time rated cable network in America, behind USA and TNT. CNN was 15th, MSNBC... a dismal 23rd.
Also, unique visitors for the Obama-loving website Daily Kos have declined a whopping 73% since last fall—a disaster. So what's going on?
It all has to do with fear. While President Obama retains a high approval rating, many Americans are flat-out scared about the economy. The recession is bringing massive pain to America, and responsible citizens want the truth about public policy, not partisan cheerleading."
It is possible that bringing up MSNBC and Daily Kos, Oralmann's very own blog, will lead to Another O'Reilly Attack tonight. It all depends on what blue blog, perhaps Kos, "reports" on this.

Olby shows that he is a real Richard Cranium (d#@k head)
Dennis, that one went right over my head so much I only figured it out when I started to google Richard Cranium.
I got a kick out of you and laughed at myself for being so slow on the uptake.
Oh boy....Keith Olbermann's man has broken his promise not to increase taxes on people making less than $250,000/year....a guaranteed muted mongrel today for sure!.....
"The Administration's budget contains $1.4 trillion in tax increases – tax hikes that will impact everyone, from small businesses, charities, and seniors to everyone who owns a 401(k) and anyone who flips on a light switch. After promising that he will reduce taxes on 95 percent of Americans, the Administration’s budget establishes a $646 billion energy tax hike that will impact anyone who uses electricity, drives a car, or relies on energy in any way."
Oh boy. This could be the end of our great nation as we know it....Under Obama, this year alone, there will be a budget deficit of $1.75 trillion and will be higher than the last five years of deficits combined, and under this plan, we will see three consecutive trillion dollar deficits between now and 2012. Bush never even came close to such fiscal irresponsibility even faced with 9/11, a war against terrorists and a recession!
While it was purported to cut the budget deficit in half from $1.75 trillion in 2009 to $533 billion by 2013 this budget projects higher deficits in 2014 ($570 billion), 2015 ($583 billion), and 2016 ($637 billion). In 2019, the final year in the budget, the deficit is projected to be $712 billion. 712 BILLION!
Including the recently-enacted trillion-dollar stimulus spending bill, discretionary spending will soar by 24%this year under this budget. The budget projects that the national debt will increase from $8.4 trillion in 2009 to $15.4 trillion in 2019.
The administration claims that reducing the number of troops in Iraq over the next 10 years will cut the deficit by $1.6 trillion; however, that is only because the budget allocates the same amount of funds for the Iraq war each year over the next decade, even though most combat troops may be withdrawn during the next 19 months. The savings are, at best, deceptive.
The budget provides a scant 2.9 percent pay raise for military personnel as required by law, less than a week after Democrats in Congress provided the necessary funding to implement District of Columbia locality pay for overseas Foreign Service officers, which would constitute an 18 percent pay increase, this is inexcusable!
I thought the troops were important to the left? Why such a small increase for them in such a wild spending spree for everything else, including the diplomatic corps?
The church of SNOBamessih has a lot of explaining to do....I was told we were getting a smart, thoughtful, honest and pragmatic chief executive!.....Instead, we see with this budget a deceptive tax and spend old lefty.....No change here....like I predicted....LBJ for the new millenium!
I suggest those of us with more moderate and responsible views just sit back, relax and let the radical left destroy itself....it will only be a matter of time if they go through with even some of this plan!
VERO POSSUMUS!
cee wrote:

You are correct cee. Their hubris is starting to show, what with Chucky smucky's comments directed towards the "chattering classes", and now, we have that financial genius Barney churping in:
http://cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=44125
Also, there is the recent Rasmussen poll stating 59% of Americans believe Government is the problem. Well, if that's so, why did over 51% vote for a guy who was a known proponent of the philosphy that govenment can fix all ills? And, on top of that, he came from one of THE most corrupt political bases; Chicago! Because Obama won the election, along the fact that Democrats control both houses of Congress, I have some skepticism towards that poll.
But, enough of politics. It's Olbermann time.
