It's been a rough week for bathtub boy. My guess is tonight he'll focus his WPitW schtick on stuff he can find on the front page of the NY Times. But then again, BOR got labled a sexist and an ageist last night so maybe he might bite at that since Bill raised his voice to that fine lady he had on. In fact I might have just given Countdown the scoop on that, we seem to be unofficial newsfinders for them.

And by front page of the Times I'm suggesting if KO rips-in-reads blog's without digging deeper, who's to think he could actually read an entire newspaper.

Olbermann is another flash in the pan. I saw his acceptance speech from the gay & lesbian HRC dinner just now, it's on the YouTubes, and it looks like it too went over like a lead blimp. Please do not waste the 12 minutes of your life watching it, but if you fast forward to the last 2 minutes he manages to say todays gay & lesbians are suffering the same as slaves in the 1800s b/c the law did not recognize the validity of these types of marriages.

So, Olby sent over his script to the Huffington Post before it aired.

Speaking from experience, a journalist should NEVER send copy of his or her report to a third-party source. This is the equivalent of Olby seeking feedback and approval from the Huffington Post for his story, and just proves how much in bed he is with these people.

Olbermann is clearly wafting in the wind without an anchor, and God knows an anchor is certainly what Olbermann is not.

Just this morning,in what can only be a tragedy of timing for the inept "news anchor", the U.S. Court of Claims ruled in favor of those who see Olbermann as a complete tool. Serendipity!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO COUNTDOWN'S STAFF!!!!

Surely, the staff of Countdown have got to have some type of journalistic background. I also imagine that many of them are young and will pursue this field for the rest of their lives. Do they even realize that by staying on the Minister of Propaganda's staff, their careers are going to become tarnished? Even Olberwomann's allies are beginning to understand that this guy is a hack and an embarressment to the news field. If his staff were smart, they'd start jumping ship now while they still have a bit of respect as "journalist" and before the single word on a future application- Countdown- becomes a Scarlet Letter for the rest of their lives.

As a humanitarian service to those Countdown staff who visit this site, I think that my previous statement should have its own thread so those staff members will have no problem seeing such a Public Service Announcement. Needless to say, those of us at OW are only interested in their personal well-being.

You are correct. There are not that many second chances in that business once you have your name associated with someone's program and that someone gets widely discredited even by his supporters. I always felt and posted here in the past that he would implode sooner or later. That is his history. If we keep the pressure on, we will do our part to hurry that event.

SB_Mich brings up an excellent point. I'm a young guy who used to be a sports reporter (yeah I know it's not hard news but the ethics are the same) and I cringe at the lack of journalism ethics in this country. I feel bad for the people in the business who believe in finding the truth but it's more likely that someone who works at MSNBC buys into the big joke. Especially Olbermann, he can't take opposing views on his show so I doubt he takes it when he's, ahem, "preparing" for a show.

Olbermann will really lay in to Judd Gregg tonight as his blog/ Countdown source has already begun to do so. Speaking of his blog, what's up with all the Kos creeps using their real names now? Olbermann was the first person to not hide behind a screen name/ handle, that's for sure but now the rest are following. I also noticed they have dailykosTV channel on YouTube now-no surprise it can play msnbc clips without a problem. Anyway, I wonder if they are trying to become another huffington post? Will Robert Gibbs issue kos press credentials soon? We used to joke around here about MSNBC partnering w/ dailykos but now it looks like it may actually happen. Both rip-n-read from each other all day, might as well make it official.

Maybe the Kos Kids are using their real names in hope to build trust with KO so when they come up with "crediable " news stories for him he knows they aren't setting him up cause they use a moniker.

Gioden: Olbermann watch is a hate website. It was started by a gossip guy named Bob Cox who hated the fact that he got caught in a lie by Olbermann. That site bashes Olbermann not watch or keep his feet to the fire. If it comes from that site like Johnny Dollar, News buters, and Olbermann Watch and it is about Olberman, Olbermann is correct and those sites are not.

Sorry, I could not wade through the beginning crap in the article. The guy who writes the article spends the first paragraph cowardly & pompously attacking Rush, Sean, and Bill to keep his liberal cred. Olbermann has never been truthful of honest and anyone who thought he ever was is a convicted liar. This guy's article is the equivalent of saying "gee I use to like Adolf Hitler until he started killing all those Jews".

Factor, I read the whole thing and the author repeated KO's lie, that he seems to have at least admitted, about Murdoch fat/fact.
