I think I know where Olbermann is going tonight with his Worst Person in the World tonight. It's one of his new favorite targets. Bobby Jindal!
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/3/25/712944/-Bobby-Deep-Thoughts-Jindal-Asserts-He-Is-Not-A-Traitor
I don't recall if he's used the nickname before, but if he has not, I'm pretty sure we'll now know the Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal by a new nickname.
I just heard Keith on Bill Maher say that the reason he still signs off with the Mission Accomplished shtick is to acknowledge the brave men and women in harm's way. Later on he said he's never said anything he didn't believe on Countdown. This man is not serious and should not be taken seriously. Unfortunately there are many people who do just that. I'm serious!!!!!

So far KO is back to his quoting that crappy movie "Catch-22". Makes you almost want to watch it just to see what this buffoon sees in it. NOT :)
KO poking fun at the old Whig Party, stating Zachary Taylor (12th President of the US) is around...well KO. For YOUR information, Taylor yeah was a Whig but he didn't start up the party, it was started up during the Andrew Jackson administration. Four Presidents were Whig's, Taylor was one of them...I guess KO didn't look to see but Lincoln, the one who everyone things Obama is like, was in fact, a whig himself just before becoming President.
KO will bring up anything, the rise of the stock market, that Obama's is now making progress, which it isn't.
He's going to have on Bernie Sanders, whom I think was on the panel last week with Bill Maher. Again....no Rep just an indepentant, but more liberal though.
I get a kick out of KO saying how much BOR has lost his mind. I think he needs to look in the mirror, Olbermann I think has snapped a gear instead.
And that oh Murdoch lost money last year. DUH all the billionaires did, including Gates, Buffett, etc. That was because of the economy going to crap first under former Pres Bush and NOW even more under Pres Messiah, (I look before I speak).
BIll O'Reilly is the biggest draw in cable news, why would Rupert Murdoch take him out of his 8 PM prime time slot like Olbermann just insinuated and replace him with Glenn Beck? That would make no sense, regardless of how well Glenn Beck has done since coming to Fox News.
Damn, did Christian Finnegan sell his hide to the devil? He's on countdown more than Olbermann it seems lately.
Keith took his "degree" off the wall
Only a tool would make that call
There's a pond, there's a pool
There's Kornell Ag School
To call it Ivy League takes some gall
Meerkat, Sanders is a self-described socialist.
Olby's known as a slovenly hack
He's got hair on his shoulders and back
His whore calls him "bear"
He's a misshapen pear
Keith and Madcow are like Frick and Frack
I watched the interview with Dr.Dean, wow talk about two people trying to rewrite history. they both never ever ever said anything nastry about GWB and conservatives, HA! Do these two jackasses not realize we have ever single word they said on video! Hell just fo to Yahoo and Im sure you can find hundreads of examples of them being nasty!
Don't mean to get off track, but just happened to turn in the network and Madcow was on. Of all things. She was complaining because the Dems., while having an elected majority might not be able to impose their legislative will because of the Bluedogs. She actually was complaining about what a shame it was that the minority party might have a bit of power and influence because of this. So this is a quite far lefty who is supposed to savor minority power to the extent that it becomes minority tyranny and now all of a sudden it is a bad thing. I guess there are hypocrites and then there are damned hypocrites.
Meerkat. Appears you didn't like Catch-22. I can understand that perhaps. Read the book in high school and thought it was great. Saw the movie shortly after it came out, which was also shortly after I got released from LBJs war. Went with my then wife. The movie was packed. She sat there and patiently watched it. Myself and perhaps 5 other guys in the crowded theater couldn't stop laughing. Everyone else was silent. It was a classic. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) for most you sort of had to have been there and done that. Then you knew Catch-22 as reality and could put your own names on most of the characters. It was a lot like going through high school in the early 60's and then watching American Graffiti. Sorry for the editorial.
I love Libs, for eight years all they did was fight for the rights of minorities in the congress, forget the majority the rights of its all about the minority! Keith complained about the republicans pushing Bush tax plan through congress witth the budget procedure. Fine but like Sen Byie of IN said today, if you do that it only is good for 5 years! Like he said if you do this with Cap & trade and Medical reform..in five years it all goes away and then what?
Apparently, Robin did something noteworthy while filling in for Bathman on Monday night (via Scott Whitlock at NewsBusters): http://tinyurl.com/c6rk6f
*"Countdown With Keith Olbermann" guest host David Shuster slipped an incredible claim into Monday's program when he highlighted "independent reports" showing that presidential candidate Barack Obama received harsher media scrutiny than did John McCain during the 2008 election.
As a way of introducing a discussion on why the President didn't attend the 2009 Gridiron dinner (a longstanding occasion for journalists and politicians) on Saturday, the MSNBC anchor oddly suggested, "Even though independent reports have shown the media was more critical of Barack Obama than John McCain during the presidential contest, there is still a fantasy that the press is gaga over now-President Obama." What independent reports? He didn't say. It's possible that Shuster was referring to a Center for Media and Public Affairs report from August of 2008. They claimed that, through the first six weeks of the general election, McCain received more favorable coverage. [Updated 2009-03-25 15:32:49 to reflect CMPA study.]
Even moderate Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger mocked the media's performance at the Gridiron dinner. Shuster quoted the California governor as joking, "You did such lovely work for Obama. You put your lives on hold to put him in the White House. Now you get all dressed up, the champagne is on ice and you find out he is just not that into you."
In contrast to the Indiana University study, an August 2008 Media Research Center investigation found much different results. After looking though 1365 evening news broadcasts (going back to Obama's first appearance in 2000), the MRC concluded that the then-candidate received almost seven times more positive stories than he did negative.
Shuster didn't exactly offer penetrating questions to his guest, columnist Clarence Page, on Monday. At one point, he mentioned how Obama was spending time with his family at Camp David and asked, "Whatever his specific motives regarding this event, do you think the President is quickly developing a reputation, quite naturally too, as being, basically, a family guy?
Update 18:38 | Matthew Sheffield. One hopes that Shuster was not referencing the CMPA report cited by Scott above considering that it was a preliminary study. Following the election, the media monitoring organization released a final study which reached the following conclusion:
In 2008 the Democratic ticket won the race for good press even more handily then the election itself. Barak Obama garnered the most favorable coverage of any presidential candidate CMPA has tracked since 1988, with 68% positive evaluations by reporters and nonpartisan sources. His two to one ratio of good to bad press was the reverse of John McCain’s media portrait. McCain attracted only 33% positive evaluations, a two to one negative ratio.
For all the novelty of Sarah Palin’s candidacy, her two to one negative ratio was almost identical to that of McCain. Her Democratic counterpart Joe Biden received very light but balanced coverage. Overall the Democratic ticket’s coverage was twice as positive as that of the Republicans.*
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT MSNBC SHOULD
FIRE KEITH OLBERMANN

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/fire-keith-olbermann
There are some great comments to read and you can leave our own! It's FUN!
I'm sorry but I just could not wait for someone to knock this petition stuff off the banner headline.
Like a petition is going to make msnbc take action from our side.
say afotia1020, in regards to your "petition":
- Where is the petition to get Bill O'Reilly fired?
- Where is the petition to get Sean Hannitty fired?
- Where is the one to get Glenn Beck fired?
- What about that "whack job" named Lou Dobbs?
- And lets don't forget about Limbaugh!
What people like you are REALLY saying here is that you don't believe in free speech unless that speech happens to agree with you.
What a great American you are!.....LOL
Hey Mike H I didn't and will not sign any petition to get Mr. Olbermann fired (that just gives him fodder). You khow Mike the way I protest Mr. Olbermann is to not buy any G.E. products to keep any MSNBC or NBC watching to a minumum and contact my Senators and Congress people so they know my displeasure with Mr. Olbermann. You are a much smarter guy than me I'm sure so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a petition to get someone fired just as much freedom of speech as the vile words that Mr. Olbermann puts out or to start petitions to get adverisers not to advertise with The factor?
say Mike H. in regards to your "petition":
- Where is the petition to get Rick Sanchez fired?
- Where is the petition to get Rachel Mandow fired?
- Where is the one to get Big Ed fired?
- What about that "whack job" named 'T-BAG' Schuster?
- And lets don't forget about Mike Malloy!
What people like you are REALLY saying here is that you don't believe in free speech unless that speech happens to agree with you.
What a great American you are!.....LOL Oh wait! We laugh every time you show up.

I'll tell you what.....if you believe in free speech, then the people who signed the petition have the right to say what they want. Liberals called for the impeachment of GW Bush. Free speech as well. If you want to start a petition against O'Reilly or Hannity, etc., then take the time to do it and stop whinning about the Olbrerboyy petition.
I guess Mike H. doesn't believe that "we the people" have the right of free speech...only morons like Keith Olbermann can speak freely.
Too bad Mike. I speak my mind when and wherever I want to. And right now I am using that right to sign the petiton to Fire Keith Olbermann.

Anyone else wishing to excercise their fredom of speech, take a look!
