Just tuned in briefly and saw an extraordinarily orange Bathtub Boy and a prepubescent lad with glasses talking about impeaching Sarah Palin. That was about all I could stomach before switching to the lovely Laura Ingraham on O'Reilly.

Well it appears that "House Boy" is going to interview KO cause he's number one on the hit list of the evil liberals. Oooh, softball questions are coming... So far, I haven't seen KO mention anything about his fearless leaders blunder, saying his bowling was special olympics bad. Instead he went after of course...MILF Palin, literally calling her out by not acception stimulus money, when her own son is special needs. He called her from what I heard off bat, a schmuck (spelling) I don't know about the others.

Look Idiot, you have a kid who is like hers then you can talk. You SIR, have NO RIGHT to be questioning her right to have her state not accept stimulus money. So Keith...SHUT UP!

President who can give a speech without a teleprompter makes fun of people with special needs.
Olbermann is so befuddled he openly asked who he should defend Obamanation.

“What do we do–what does he do, about that?” Olbermann

What do WE do about Obamanation's Spechul Komment? Last time I checked Olbermann, Obama has an official press secretary. You are just his volunteer press secretary. I think if Obamanation wants to reach out to people with special needs, he should invite Olbermann to the White House to perform one his nightly gyrations.

Are you talking about Bill Maher, meerkat? And who was the "prepubescent lad with glasses"?

K.D. Lang :) Haha, Maddow is going to "interview" Olbermann cause he is making himself number one on the evil liberals.

Wow...Twitter, the worst person in the world. Didn't know a website can be considered that. Must learn a lot at Cornell A&M huh Keith.

I noticed that KO didn't want to mention McFarline's other show on Fox unless they're ashamed to....but for the record it's "American Dad" I guess since it's more of a "conservative" version, Olbermann and Seth didn't want to discuss it. The wanted to talk more about the Cleveland Show and the fact that KO did a voice over nearly a year ago.

Guess who's been lying about Bernie Goldberg's top 5 worst liberal smear merchants. He had the media matters guy on, but media matters wasn't on Bernie's list. Tonight he's claiming the top spot which actually belongs to MSNBC and Bernie stated "And the villains are not even people on the air. They're executives who most Americans don't even know their names, but they have made a business decision to allow, and I'm going to use this word very carefully, to allow defamation of conservatives with whom they have a beef." (Transcript:,2933,508125,00.html)

I love how Olby says "we know when Bill says MSNBC, he really means ME(Olby)!"

Yes Olby, it is all about you.

prepubescent lad with glasses = Chris Hayes

It's been quite a week for Olby. His sweeping under the rug of the Cramer/Stewart fracas is ancient forgotten history. He was treated as a bona fide "News Guy" by Leno. He is freshly spray-tanned by the best spray tanners the left coast has to offer. No doubt his appearance on Bill Maher will be a love fest. He gets to do several segments on himself. No wonder Olby looks absolutely blissful.
Enjoy it while it lasts, DOUCHENOZZLE!

Seth MacFarlane was on? Was O'Reilly attacked? And besides "we know when Bill says MSNBC, he really means me," what else was said in the culmination of Vendettamann's revenge week?

Did Olby promise to donate money to the Alaska Special Olympics in the name of Obama?

In the #1 segment, Madcow asks the Lie-On King "What do you feel being at the top of the List?" and Keithee responds "It's a mix of pride & irrelevancy"

Is that what you call a week long's obsession with an innocuous Bill O segment with Goldberg?

HEY KEITHEE! If it's irrelevant, you ignore it, DODOHEAD!!!!

Seth MacFarlane is such a tragedy. Family Guy was a very funny show in the begging before MacFarlane let his stupidity take over and turned it into yet another left wing screed. Now it is a cartoon version of Countdown. If I see that moron MacFarlane wearing that Chinese Communist star in the middle of his chest again, I am going to puke. I wish all these celebutards who are enamored with the Chinese communist were standing in front of the tanks in Tiananmen Square with piss running down their leg.

Oh, was WPitW of the Week already abandoned?

I take "The Simpsons," "Family Guy," and "American Dad!" minute by minute, week by week. And I always erase the episodes from my DVR as soon as I'm finished watching...or I stop after taking a joke/attack personally and erase it then. In that case, I'll just take the show off my scheduled recordings. But I'm so conflicted. These were my favorite shows and they've just gradually turned into partisan red meat with progressive-approved plotlines and jokes.

By The Factor on March 20, 2009 10:01 PM

You might enjoy this story at News Busters, Factor titled:

Bozell Column: 'South Park' vs. Purity

"And nothing, y'know, there's nothing I've ever, no words I've ever put in Bill O'Reilly's mouth except a couple of hyperbole cases where I would say 'now I'm making this up', but, ya know, there's nothing, there's nothing like that, and I think that's the problem. They're actually, it's just the facts, and as Harry Truman says, 'ya know, I'm just giving them the facts and they think it's hell'". (KO)

What incredible bull. Every part of it. In fact, the part about not putting words in Bill O'Reilly's mouth HAS to be considered an outright Olby Lie. And you don't have to go back far to find an example. Think back a couple of weeks ago to when Olbytard distorted what BO said about that Jennifer Moore rape case to accuse him of blaming the victim (you know, to sabotage a charity event?). Remember Olby's words re: BO? "Translation: She was asking for it". Nevermind that the eeevil Mr. Bill never made that charge. In other words, Olbermann PUT WORDS INTO BILL O'REILLY'S MOUTH!

    Just sayin'.

I'm curious to hear the context of the Brit Hume MRC speech Olby used for WPitW

Well said, John,. My only problem is I would have said something other than "Olbyt***."

I know, I know. You're right. I wouldn't want to insult the mentally-challenged by comparing them to Keith Olbermann. My apologies.

Ok, I went to MRC and listened to Hume in his own words. I can't tell if it was just a bad joke or what?

No, I think he was serious. But I think as far as him saying that he didn't know what he would have done without MRC, that part was just being complimentary. It would be hard to believe if they were Special Report's only source.

    By Mike C. on March 20, 2009 11:25 PM
Well said, John,. My only problem is I would have said something other than "Olbyt***."

I don't know Mike allot of people think it's cool and hip to denigrate that segment of our population that, by no fault of their own, are less than perfect. Like our Harvard educated POTUS for example.

You just don't understand because you're not an enlighten elitist and you're clinging to religion no doubt.

It's not hip to have common decency or sense anymore. Dig?

I wouldn't doubt if Brit Hume got material from Bozell and MRC for the "Grapevine" segment over the years. Sure, it was a partisan segment, and it ridiculed mostly Libs and Dems. It was, however, only three minutes per hour, as opposed to all sixty minutes on Olby's "News Hour". Olbermann will never be one/tenth the jounalist that Hume is.

caught KO on Bill Maher's show....nothing interesting came out of "Free Willy's" blowhole. He mentioned what a nut Glenn Beck was and that Murdoch would change Fox News liberal in a snap. He quoted two sources there at the Fox News, (yeah right, like he's got friends there) then he later said the rest are like "salesmen". I don't know where he gets that he was listed as Number One on the list...not like they named names, but I guess he wants the credit.

but for those want to see KO and who dont' have HBO, here is clips of the show from You Tube:

It's his ego. He believes O'Reilly is obsessed with him, and thus any time O'Reilly mentions MSNBC, Olbermann believes O'Reilly is talking about him.

In reality, Olbermann is obsessed with O'Reilly, and MSNBC is not a proxy for Olbermann, who is simply its biggest face.

    Olby's face keeps getting fatter
It reminds one of pancake batter
    His physique is pear-shaped
    His viewers mind raped
By the left wing media matter

I bet you the lead story on Monday will be how Keith is making up ground in the ratings war, he will show some silly graph and point out that his numbers went up, Bill'o's went down forgetting to tell everyone Bill was not on air for most of last week.

Bill'o needs to start attacking Madcow Maddow, just igonore Keith. This would just drive him up a wall! the thing about him going on Leno and all the rest..the fact is if you were to walk uo 100 people 97 would have no idea who in hell Keith Olbermann is and frankly I dont think they care enough to find out!

The fact is Keith is going to have to ramp up his attack machine because that is all he has, he is kind of like his Idol, Obozo, if its not on a telapromater, note cards, or some feeding it thought the ear piece, he wouldnat have any clue what do!

His "girlfriend" that follows his show has a bigger balls then this coward, at least she has on guests that disagree with her position. I guess Madcow is one of those silly people, like over at fox, that actually value debate.

Keith Olbremann, we all know you read this posts your ego will not allow you not to, you are a coward and fraud! go take you so called outradge and stick it your fatt ass! Hey I have an idea take all the money you have made spewing your hate, go back to college and get a real degree in journalism, or maybe in how to a human people actually like being around, and jsut a get over the Bill Oriley shit its really old and boring like you fatass!

Glen Beck's a nut, but he's lovable in a way. At first I didn't like his show, but I gave him a week and he got me hooked. Yeah he goes off the wall, but unlike Bathtub Boy Glen doesn't try to change the news to fit his opinions. In fact even he knows he's outrageous at times, but that's who he is. He leaves his opinions as opinions, and doesn't try to pass them off as news.

KO plays off his ideals and curves every story the way he sees it, and tries to pass it off as journalism. In the end his efforts are comparable to a 13 year-old's view of the world.

But I laughed how last week the left-wing smear machine was saying how everyone at Fox is trying to condemn Beck because he's got mad ratings for his time slot.

Again, some (MikeH) believe Barack Obama is the smartest guy in the room, but let us compare and contrast his knowledge of The Special Olympics to another politician's.....

And what does Barack Obama think of The Special Olymipcs?.....

A wonderful orgainization that enables millions of people display their talents and skill (Palin) versus a punchline to a bad joke on a latenight show (Obama)......

Our new President really has a good priority list, doesn't he? And he's so smart!

That "stuuupid" Governor up in Alaska should know her place.....Where does she get off saying something like this!?.....

"I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics. This was a degrading remark about our world’s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world.

"These athletes overcome more challenges, discrimination and adversity than most of us ever will. By the way, these athletes can outperform many of us and we should be proud of them. I hope President Obama's comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community." Sarah Palin

The church of SNOBamessiah deems his comments a small error he quickly apologized for and asks us to move on.....Come now!

That picture with Leno and the diploma made me burst out laughing.

Nomorekeith you might be right about the ratings thing, the only problem being he really didn't gain that much ground. I'm sure it comes down to jealousy: Bill O's sub Laura holds the fort while Robin the Boy Blunder grabs fourth place.

Now I'm confused. Was he really discussing that Bernie Goldberg list with Maddow? Isn't that like two weeks old?

"Now I'm confused. Was he really discussing that Bernie Goldberg list with Maddow? Isn't that like two weeks old?"

    YES!!! The entire week!!!!!

Bill Maher (real Cornell alum) made Olby talk about Ag-School Cornell. He also asked Olby why he continues to end the show with "xxxx days since the declaration of victory in Iraq" considering things in Iraq are going much much better now.

Olby muddled together some nonsense for answers. Maher wasn't impressed. If you can watch in HD, you'll notice Olby's bottom button on his vest burst open because of the pressure from his gut. I'm not joking. Why can't he get a tailor to properly fit his clothes?

    More from Maher:

Olby basically took the John Gibson story about seeing the MSNBC Exec at dinner and being told MSNBC was happy it made the business decision to go liberal and changed the facts around...

Olby said that he was talking with someone at Fox and they told him that being a right leaning network was just a business decision to sell a product. If Murdoch was told that he could make more money if he changed to a liberal network today, Murdoch would change in a second.

Olby says a lot of people in news are just sales men, but he is one of the few people on TV who is genuine. Glenn Beck cries for attention, etc., etc, but Keith has all the money he needs and will never sell out.

I think Olby hit a new low.

And therefore, I won't waste my time watching him or watching video of him on Maher's show last night.
Meanwhile, here's why Seth MacFarlane was on the Hour of Spin:
"Lois lands a job as a news reporter for FOX News. Her first assignment is to shoot an investigative exposé on a Michael Moore, but when her story implicates a conservative radio host she gets fired. Meanwhile, Peter & Chris propose a cartoon idea to FOX."

That airs tomorrow night. So, after ten years of being a fan of "Family Guy," I'm giving the show up; "American Dad!," too.

I predict Olby will name Palin WPITW for disapproving of Obama's Special Olympics comment. KO's rationale will extend back to when he claimed Sarah Palin slashed the Alaska SO budget in half even though she actually raised it.

Any lie to keep Palin on his show, right?

I predict that any conservative who says the most common sense thing in regards to ANYTHING going on in America from the day before will be in the top 3 of worse persons, with BO also included in there somewhere.

God, he is such a dry hump. Maybe he should have another segment dubbed: THE MOST PREDICTABLE SHOW IN THE WORLD! And, instead of his moronic follow up of when the war ended in Iraq, he could replace it with: "THIS IS THE 1,819th EXACT SAME SHOW DONE BY YOURS TRULY THE MOST ANTI-AMERICAN FRAUD SINCE JOHN LOGIE BAIRD INVENTED THE TV."

By the way, after that FG episode airs, the Wikipedia link will be gradually updated with a fuller plot summary and other miscellaneous information. So, be sure to check back there beginning after 9:30 tomorrow night.

Too bad there isn't a more to the Olbermann/Maher interview link on YouTube. It sounds like there was more to it. 10 plus minutes of mostly Bernie Sanders yakkin.

Dan, here are my notes from the interview. Sorry, it is kind of long.

    -Olby is introduced.
-Maher says “the left wing loves you” …”you wouldn’t get that reception in Branson, MO”
-Olby says he remembers Bill in college, they talk about political protests at Cornell
-Bill does not remember Olby from Cornell
-Bill says Ann Coulter says you went to Ag-School
-Olby says my diploma is same, but I only paid $800 semester
-Bill says "you and the left wing went bat shit" over Cheney’s recent comments
    - Olby says Obama has kept us safe for 60 days, so by Bush standards Obama is great
    -Olby says thank’s DICK
-Maher says, why do you still talk about mission accomplished?
-Olby says it’s a trademark of show, but also he owes it to troops in harms way to remind everyone they are still in Iraq
-Bernie Sanders says we still spend $10 billion/month in Iraq
-Maher says democrats are giving up on cap and trade, etc.
-Bernie Sanders says we need to address health care
-Maher says democrat committee chairs are responsible for not pushing full agenda
-Andrew Ross Sorkin says are we doing too much?
-Bernie Sanders says that its all related to economic crisis, need to address everything
-The actress lady chimes in with worthless info (why is she on show?)

irush, ty mucho much! On a different note, my HD must not be working quite right, I caught this image of Olbermann on the Leno show:

"Thanks DICK" Get it? DICK? HAHAHAHA it's like I'm in third grade again.

I don't know what's funnier, Olbermann saying "DICK" or Olbermann saying he'd never sell out.

Glenn Beck's show is like the opposite of fear mongering. Yes he props up the countries problems with childish behavior but his message of keeping your values and not giving up is why he's on a roll. People buy into it. Plus he pretty much blames everyone, Reps and Dems alike, for what's going on right now. From what you regulars say this is just another example of Olbermann going after someone just because their show has better ratings.

Sander's gun comment is just another ignorant utterance from someone who's never watched Fox News but "hears" that it's a conservative attack machine. Fox isn't as "fair and balanced" as they claim to be but they're the only network that can even come close to that assertion.

KO has a strange effect on the DU fangirls - One had to be "hosed down" because he said the F bomb

But even the DU loons are on to KO: They're also into analyzing:

    Berry Cool
He did once date Laura Ingraham. He's said so, several times.
Perhaps that is a big key to why he hasn't been married and has no children. He talks a good game about how badly he wants it, but then he seems to have a knack for picking the type of women who aren't going to get him there.

I agree with KO's politics, but I always sense that he is very uncomfortable in his own skin
When he appears on other shows besides his own, he looks very out of place. I do believe he is hiding some deep personal secret. (Just my amateurish opinion)

And this comes from his fans.

Sanders has appeared on FNC shows like "Your World," but probably as a means of taking on what he perceives to be an evil network (Fox News) and corporation (News Corp).
    Thanks for the summary, irush.
It's unpleasant to know that Bill Maher is allowed one night a week to drag down the good reputation of Studio 33 (The Bob Barker Studio) at CBS Television City. I also got frustrated by all that was said via irush's notes.

In other news, Bill O'Reilly's appearance at the It Happened to Alexa Foundation's event on Thursday was a huge, tremendous, colossal, grand success!
Since both sides had to be presented in Margie Kacoha's article, the Newshounds' and Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann's joint campaign to get Bill removed from speaking was brought up. It almost felt like they were legitimized, but I'm not sure.
    Text below:

*MANALAPAN — Bill O'Reilly was generally understated and to the point Thursday, serious and comical as he deftly switched gears from crimes against children to politics and general observations.
The host of The O'Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel was the featured speaker at a noontime benefit for the It Happened to Alexa Foundation at The Ritz-Carlton. The organization helps families of rape victims with travel expenses so they can attend court proceedings.
The organization is named for Alexa Branchini, who in 1999 was raped in her Boston University dormitory. Her parents, Tom and Stacey Branchini, had the resources to travel from Buffalo, N.Y., to Boston to stay with and support their daughter during her attacker's trial. The attacker was found guilty and sentenced to 40 to 45 years in prison without parole after almost a month of court proceedings.
Recognizing that other families might not always have the means to do what they did, the Branchinis established the foundation to help defray such travel and lodging expenses.
Alexa Branchini opened the luncheon with a personal word of thanks to O'Reilly.
"It is with deep gratitude that I welcome him today," she said.
Former prosecutor Wendy Murphy, a member of the foundation's advisory board and frequent contributor to Fox News and MSNBC, commended O'Reilly for pressuring states through his nightly broadcasts to pass versions of "Jessica's Law."
The Jessica Lunsford Act passed in Florida following the murder of a 9-year-old girl by a sexual predator who had previous convictions for sex crimes against a child.
The legislation mandates 25 years to life in prison for first-time child sex offenders
Murphy noted 43 states now have similar laws on the books.
"He's so dedicated to this cause," Murphy said. "He doesn't do this for many organizations," she said of his South Florida speaking engagement.*

Now, the propping up of people that shouldn't be propped up:
*O'Reilly's visit was not without controversy.
A group known as Concerned Citizens Against Sexual Violence posted an online petition calling on the foundation to withdraw its invitation to O'Reilly.
The site made its request based on comments O'Reilly made in 2006 and 2007 in reference to murdered rape victim Jennifer Moore and kidnap victim Shawn Hornbeck that suggested they somehow invited or otherwise had a hand in the crimes against them.
He called Moore "moronic" for getting drunk and allowing her car to get towed, and he said Hornbeck, who was repeatedly abused during four years of captivity, did not escape because he liked the situation.
Petition organizers set a goal of 2,000 online supporters. A total of 922 signed on before the petition closed Wednesday, the day before the speech.
O'Reilly rival Keith Olbermann, who hosts Countdown on MSNBC, named O'Reilly the Worst Person in the World for speaking at the benefit.
Ellen Augello, executive director of the It Happened to Alexa Foundation, said she was not free to speak about the online protest.*

Margie is wrong. The goal was 10,000. It seems like she wrote 2,000 to make the NH-started hate-fueled petition seem like it was closer to its goal than it really was.

Then, back to the successful day:
*During his remarks, O'Reilly credited the Branchini family with using a personal tragedy to benefit the common good.
He is a graduate of Boston University, was familiar with the dormitory where Alexa Branchini was attacked, and said he looked into her story.
"It's about the spirit of America," he said. "It's about who we are. If we see someone in a ditch, we help them out. We are people who help other people.
"We have to fight against the evildoers who perpetuate this stuff."
Before O'Reilly's half-hour talk, luncheon guest Harry McGuire, of Palm Beach and Miami, said he agrees with the talk show host about "50 to 52 percent" of the time, which he considered a high mark.
Afterward, McGuire said he thought the time spent listening to O'Reilly was well worth it.
"And it was for a good cause," he added.
Walter and Cathleen McFarlane Ross served as honorary chairman and honorary chairwoman for the event.*

And there you go. Despite Margie legitimizing Vendettamann and the unhinged trolls, it was a good article.

Maher also talked about his debates a few weeks ago against Coulter saying he sent his clone out to debate her and his clone kicked her ass. Arrogant isn't he?

Meerk- Personally, I think Maher likes Coulter more than he likes KO. The two of them go a long way back, thats why they just spent the week together doin g a traveling debate. Maher constantly referred to Keith as a liberal (which Keith had to hate b/c he's an honest, down the middle news guy), he brought up the ag-school stuff, and generally, I got the feeling Maher was kind of poking a few shots at KO. Others may have seen it differently.

One more thing, I forgot the part about Keith mentioning Hannity during his Fox rants. I think he told this story in a magazine interview before, but he talked about running into Hannity once and Hannity said something like, "hey keith, I good to see you. i cant believe people think we hate each other, that's just on TV." Keith told Bill that as he walked away, he was thinking to himself (not a direct quote) "yeaaahhh, ok sean, maybe TV is an act, joke or a game to you..."

Keith Oralmann: "yeaaahhh, ok sean, maybe TV is an act, joke or a game to you..."

Another candidate for a potential KO rant:

There are a lot of rumblings about how Canada's socialized health care affected the time it took Natasha Richardson to get medical treatment. Basically, Quebec doesn't have a helicopter life-flight system, which is pretty common in the U.S., to quickly transport trauma victims to the appropriate hospital.

My guess is, someone like Hannity or O'Reilly will bring this up, and BAM, WPITW.

"How dare you use this tragedy as an attempt to further your political screeds against Obama trying to bring basic health care to 47 million people?" or whatever, will be KO's rant, totally missing the point.

    Just a thought.

Remember the last time Obama had a 'evening whatever' on primetime. (he's having one again this week.)

He had some liberal radio guy in the front row.

Just wondering, maybe Olby being out on the coast the same time Obam was. It was the little kid way of jumping up & down going....

    pick me! pick me!

Looking at all the pics of Olby posted here makes one wonder. With soo many rolls, does Katy prefer bagels these days?

Thanks for finding that info on the benefit, MikeC. I appreciate finally knowing it went well.

I agree with you that it's a decent article except for the factual error on how many signitures the haters wanted to get. Olbermann looks like the usual fool he has become.

J$ should consider making your summary post a new thread of it's own....with the article link.

    Good job, as always.

A night of homophobic slurs against Joe the Plumber by the Edward R. Murrow of our time.

Then it is off to Bill Maher's pile of crap to attack free speech. How entertaining it was to watch Olbermann and Maher so concerned with how radio and television commenter’s treat our dear president. They are worried that hyper-partisan rhetoric against the President might incite people to violence. I agree. I once heard a hyper partisan critic of the vice president say that less people would die if the vice president happened to die in a terrorist attack. I also once heard a hyper-partisan critique of the president call compare him to Adolf Hitler. Oh wait, that was Keith Olbermann and Bill Maher attacking President Bush.

Mike C. I went to the petition's Web site and it says that the goal was 2,000.

Did they change the # of signatures required to legitimize themselves? I assume I have the right petition. Help me out.

The petition itself was a joke. "Withdraw Invitation to Hypocrite O'Reilly". I guess he changed his name. Nor did it sound like he promoted his book.

I remember seeing that it was 10,000. But if it was 2,000, then the writer was correct.

While waiting for my registration to come through I saw the last 2 comments. Well, mine dovetails nicely>

    Dittos, Cee.

I found one other problem with the article. The writer spoke about Concerned Citizens Against Sexual Violence as if it were a legitimate ongoing concern.

I googled it in early March and got 8 hits which went in a circle from News Hounds (I think the originator) to either Think Progress or maybe Media Matters back to News Hounds.

Ad hoc group uh uh, yeah. I would think that someone who writes news stories for a living would do at least some basic research without blindly accepting anyone's claims much less the partisan News Hounds.

    Plain sloppy.

And I thought the Palm Beach Daily News would be fairer than the Palm Beach Post. Apparently not.

The signature goal was 10,000. As they neared the end times, they started talking about lowering the goal. After all how would it look if they couldn't even reach 10% of their goal. So they lowered it to 2,000. Just think, if they had lowered it to 800, then they could claim they topped their goal! They can't even cheat right.

That's what I thought. Thanks, Johnny.

Mike, I don't think it is an issue of bias or fairness so much as very shoddy workmanship.

All she had to do was go to the website and back track to NH and she would have had the various discussions from every point of view. Maybe she had a hot date and didn't want to do the research.

Sorry, Mike, I wrote this an hour or more ago and thought I had submitted it.

Bill O'Reilly on the Cheney Assassin Squad:

If Cheney really had such a crew, Hersh would have been dead a long time ago, and so would most everybody at MSNBC.

This is the column you speak of, CD:
Here are the first three paragraphs of "Blame Bush":
"The other day a left-wing reporter named Seymour Hersh went on MSNBC and said he had information, provided by the usual anonymous sources, that Dick Cheney was running an assassination squad out of the White House.
I have but one simple observation: If Cheney really had such a crew, Hersh would have been dead a long time ago and so would most everybody at MSNBC.
    Would they not?"

Ya know, that might not have been such a bad idea for Cheney when you think about it. :)

Thanks for clarifying that petition stuff. I figured you guys wouldn't get that wrong. The whole thing was pathetic, even if they had reached 2000 signatures.

That FNC-hater-serving episode of "Family Guy" is airing right now.

Just watched the Family Guy episode. It was funny. I didn't see it poking fun at FOX that badly. I like the Fred Savage is really Rush, Michael Moore, etc. That was funny. But I don't think it was anything bad, I thought it was quite funny actually.

I probably wouldn't have liked it. I don't like *any* poking fun at them because the poking always comes from FNC haters. I say "FNC haters" instead of "FOX haters" because "Family Guy" is *on* FOX.

"[Maher] also asked Olby why he continues to end the show with 'xxxx days since the declaration of victory in Iraq' considering things in Iraq are going much much better now.

"Olby muddled together some nonsense for answers. Maher wasn't impressed."

By irushbaby on March 21, 2009 12:27 PM

Sure, Olbermann started that silliness in the thick of the radical anti-America left's campaign to make Iraq a defeat for the United States (by forcing then President Bush to withdraw the troops because we had "lost" Iraq) so as to prove their belief that US hegemony under those evil neoconservatives was indeed a failure......Now he is stuck saying it until COUNTDOWN is cancelled because the once critical Obama is planning on leaving 50,000 troops in Iraq even after his promised withdrawl in 16 months as President.

Speaking of the left's insistance we abandon Iraq to the Islamic terrorists.....I was very surprised at the following from President Obama last night about "humor," what his priorities are now that he has to actually lead, and what is the "least of his problems."

KROFT: You're sitting here. And you're laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money?" How do you deal with — I mean: explain … Are you punch-drunk?

OBAMA: No, no. There' gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day. Sometimes my team talks about the fact that, uh, if you had said a year ago that the least of my problems would have been Iraq — which is still a pretty serious problem — I don't think anyone would have believed it. But we've got a lot on our plate, and a lot of difficult decisions we're going to have to make.

Interesting, our President was giggling during the question, not after. seems our President does seem "punch drunk," not a good attribute of a leader. I wonder how he would have reacted to the terrorist attacks on 9/11?

Oh well....we hopefully will never find out.....But in regards to Obama's attitude towards Iraq in 2005/2006/2007 and even in early 2008.....Bush and those of us in America wanting to preserve freedom and democracy in Iraq tried to tell Obama and the rest of the radical left that Iraq was nowhere near the problem they claimed it to be because of the great job the US military had been doing under the wonderful leadership of President Bush and General Petraeus. Iraq stopped being the problem Obama and the left's political ruling class thought it was in late 2007.

Olbermann simply did what the rest of the left's shills (who I call the church of SNOBamessiah) did....ignore the success in Iraq.

    Wonderful journalism, NBC NEWS!

That Bill O'Reilly column has caught the eye of Noel Sheppard yesterday at NewsBusters:
*Fox News' Bill O'Reilly has a fabulous response to Seymour Hersh's most-recent conspiracy theory about former Vice President Dick Cheney having an executive assassination squad responsible for covertly wiping out America's enemies: ...
So wrote O'Reilly in a fabulously tongue-in-cheek column Sunday entitled "Coming Soon to a Lefty Rag Near You."
In it, "The Factor" host marvelously skewered left-wing media outlets that are destined in the coming months to offer up "all kinds of horror stories...about alleged Bush-Cheney atrocities" designed to "deflect attention from present-day problems and provide liberal thinkers with the intense indignation they so desperately need": ...
    How delicious.
Of course, in the coming days we should expect O'Reilly to take a great deal of heat for his opening quip concerning Hersh and MSNBC, and for me to similarly be defamed by all manner of left-wing shill for having the nerve to repeat it.
That said, readers who can stand it should review Hersh's most-recent conspiracy theory to truly understand the level of insanity and delusion not only being espoused by the left, but also being devoured like the finest champagne and caviar.
*****Update: The shills over at ThinkProgress have already proved me right with an update about yours truly. ...
Thank you all for playing my game!*

And you know what that means: ***O'REILLY ATTACK COMING TONIGHT****. Blue blog source: Think Propaganda.
The line in bold is what Man on Fan will utter in that unfunny Ted Baxter voice. Also, TP got their facts wrong. (Are you surprised?) "In a Boston Herald op-ed today ..." This is a nationally syndicated column that went out on Thursday.
But back to Merkle. Since TP made it appear that Bill was wishing death on Sy Hersh and MSNBC, Keith may abandon shtick, drop the music, and use soft-spoken "Bill O'Reilly has left reality"-type theatrical indignation and faux outrage. Also, the church shooter will be brought up, which means an ancillary Bernie Goldberg attack. Plus, other things that escape me right now.

By the way, since TP got their facts wrong, Rip 'n Read will make the same mistake.

Some NB commenters and all TP commenters have something in common: they don't like O'Reilly. That means that our fair-minded, down the middle, independent No Spin guy is doing his job. :)

Olbermann has been colluding with paranoid nuts from the left?

    How delicious!

Oooo, and Olbermann's paranoia and self importance was also seen on kos this weekend....

It seems his enemies from FNC is behind a fake Keith Olbermann on Twitter!.....CALL THE FBI!......

"[The problem] was operational for weeks, and for at least a week before I mentioned it on the air, Twitter neither intervened, nor replied to repeated requests from NBC.

"There is also at least one fake Erin Burnett and one fake Brian Williams on Twitter.

"Moreover, there is some connection between the fake me, and a former figure at Fox News."

Oh my....this fake Twitter Olbermann could really mess up new gathering for our nation....We all know how the quotes, thoughts and breaking news from Keith are held in such high esteem by journalists through-out the land....Our modern day Edward R. Murrow!

Mike, the comments at TP are worth the price of admission.

My two faves were back to back:

    "spencers mom Says:

I’m surprised to see any paper willing to run what appears to be a wingnut’s (sic) wet dream assassination hit list. But since the Boston Herald was for years owned by Murdoch, and later one of Newscorp’s former execs, nothing comes as a surprise.

    March 22nd, 2009 at 11:11 am"

    "Fred Says:

Even if cheney (sic) didn’t have a death squad, he would have liked to have had one and evenually (sic) would have.
    March 22nd, 2009 at 11:12 am "

    Good job, as always.

Two great articles at NB. The MRC article is quite detailed and has some good links.:

Maher: Glenn Beck Increasing Chance of 'Horrible Action' on Obama obama

    -------------------------------------------------- --------------------

Olbermann: ‘Lunatic Fringe’ MRC ‘Fed Talking Points’ to Hume, Joe the Plumber’s ‘Gay’ Entrance w/ ‘God Bless USA’ ga

Your links didn't work, Grammie. So, I went to NB and copied the links to TinyURL.
    Maher-Beck link:
    Oralmann "lunatic fringe [Ding!]" link:
The Fat Ass link features another bombast head tilt and zany facial expression. I would have had to recap that if I didn't decide to take an indefinite break from recapping.
Meanwhile, Think Propaganda has a second O'Reilly Attack ready to go for Vendettamann:
Little Jesse! [Ding!] Squeaky teen voice! By the way, Keith, superb job getting your Olbsession banned from that Alexa fundraiser last Thursday. Oh, wait.
For we clear-thinkers, the ambush will likely air in the Reality Check segment. And don't forget to watch the post-game show on It's free for the first week, but available only for premium members (like me) after that.

Thanks, Mike. I think I know what happened.

I copied the same comment I made at J$P and the links probably didn't transfer right.

You do know that you are a nice guy and I'm glad to have you around.

    Thank you, Grammie.

The rundown for tonight's "Factor" is up, and sure enough:
    "Back of the Book Segment
Reality Check: Truth and lies about crime victims"

Oh, also in what would be Keith's attack: Stalker producer! [Ding!]

Olbermoronn might not want to see this:
It's Friday's ratings. Olby came in third at 8:00 and fourth at 10:00 in the 25-54 demo. He came in the usual second in total viewers at 8:00 and fourth at 10:00 (only 3,000 viewers behind Nancy Grace).

Equally bad news: Spud is siding with the ambushee.
"Leave it to O’Reilly to turn something of a victory (being able to speak at the Alexa Foundation) into a defeat (sicking Waters on Turkel) after all the crap that’s gone on, most of which was O’Reilly’s own damn fault to begin with. Another example of the internal tone deafness of one William O’Reilly. Honestly Bill, at this point you deserve all the grief Olbermann tosses your way for this. Rather than do your bit for the Alexa Foundation and quietly move on to the next thing, you have to stand and pick a fight over something you really don’t have and never have made; a valid reasonable defense for your Jennifer Moore comments.
Seriously, FNC PR needs to sit O’Reilly down and give him a remedial Public Relations course. Because this is just the sort of thing that a seasoned PR person, who understands how things work and play out, would be able to easily see as more trouble than it’s worth, and therefore avoid. Not our boy Bill. He’s going to make his point no matter how badly it blows up in his face. But this isn’t the first time this has happened (see the now infamous “Bring Donahue Back” petition and the entirely predictable to anyone but O’Reilly blowback). And it probably won’t be the last..."

    Agree or disagree?

I just finished reading Spud's piece and I'm thinking about it.

As a member of the media making contact with people and questioning them suddenly and without warning seems to be pretty routine. Michael Moore, just a film maker and activist, has become a member of the seriously rich doing the exact same thing and then distorting through his editing.

On the other hand Spud might have a point that BOR would have been better served to let matters rest. BOR is the undisputed victor where it counted. He and IHTAF prevailed over KO and his followers and just rolled them.

I've decided. There was nothing wrong with attempting a surprise interview but why give KO, as if he needs it, anything that BOR's normal base might be a bit uneasy about.

What Spud does not understand is that those who have a personal hatred of O'Reilly tried to hurt him by questioning the judgement and choices of a perfectly innocent and good group of people. O'Reilly is right in taking it to such people and pointedly asking them, "why."

I hope he expands on this idea with the segment. Organizations like THINK PROGRESS and MEDIA MATTERS claim pure intentions, but they have personal political agendas that actually are the only thing that is important to them.

Guilt by association is a dangerous game, and THINK PROGRESS, Keith Olbermann, NH and the rest of those who personally hate O'Reilly were hurting a good organization with their actions.....Good for O'Reilly in shining the spotlight in their direction.

My first attempt to be a moderate is a dismal failure. I didn't feel comfortable with the on one hand/other hand process I went through to reach no decision. I must be getting old to be that mushy minded.

Cee, you sir, are absolutely correct!

    I second that.

Wee, Mike, you could have objected just a little bit that my mind is mush. :)

    Aww, don't say that.
Good news: Keith is off! Slippery Shuster fills in.
Bad news: The attacks will come on the first day he returns. By then, he'll have a blue blog distorted recap of the ambush airing.

Does anybody have the link for the original Turkel story that sent Bill O after her in the first place? I can't find it.

I, a Bill O fan, understand why he does this ambush stuff but it looks unsavory and really doesn't help. The tape did seem a little choppy and perhaps she was, uh, "accosted". However, I'm going to assume that Turkel pulled something out of context. Maybe I shouldn't, but I am. I guess I really don't know what to think.

What I didn't like is how he threw another shot in at Jeff Immelt. I understand that NBC is trash and they should be called out when they screw up but his vendetta against Immelt (and Barney Frank for that matter) is starting to wear on me.

Check out what I wrote in the Monday thread.

However, I'm going to assume that Turkel pulled something out of context. Maybe I shouldn't, but I am. I guess I really don't know what to think....cjflan

I have personally met Bill twice where I work. I guess you can say that I also "ambushed" him with my questions where he was totally caught off guard. I'd say even more so than Turkel, as I didn't have a camera crew with me or a microphone, yet in both instances he never wavered from what he said on the air. He knew exactly what I was referring to, and answered my questions without any hesitation at all.

The point is that when anybody says anything with conviction and to what they truly believe, they will not stammer or claim they forgot part of their statement even if approached years after they said it. Maybe at first, but after being reminded of what they said, most people who truly meant what they said to begin with would have no problem recalling the incident.

Turkel obviously wrote her article based on what she heard, and not from what she saw. Another typical ploy by the left wing attack machine to destroy the messenger even if the message is the real important issue. Take no prisoners, and be damned if in the process the innocent get in the way.

Just another disgusting display of the ape ruler doing whatever it takes to attack Bill, but unfortunately no matter what this fraud says or does nothing will ever become of it.

Something is seriously wrong over at msnbc, and until we find out the whole story of what it is, this kind of crap will only get worse. I believe this is only the tip of the iceburg, and the worse olbermann is the better his bosses like it. He makes Morton Downey look like Walter Cronkite.

Thanks Wolverine. I just didn't want to jump to conclusions before getting the whole story, that's all.
