#5: It's "Boss Limbaugh" now according to Ubermoron

And in case you missed it, Maddow did her best impression of a 12-year-old boy on Leno last nite, labeling US healthcare system "stupid and embarrassing" in the interview:

    http://www.nbc.com/The_Tonight_Show_with_Jay_Leno/video/episodes/?vid=1049961#vid=1049961

Yeah, KO has been on the boss limbaugh rant now for a few days and apparently it's going to stick. Of course, KO is all giddy right now making Rush look stupid when in fact, it's Obama and company who are by not taking Rush up on the challenge.

Rush isn't joking, he's dead serious and all you see now is democrat glee thinking how the tables have turned after eight years, but this new change isn't going to last long. Everything will be back to normal soon as quickly as the people here in the states begin to realize how bad Obama is and will become as the years roll on...

So KO and company...enjoy your 15 min, because it's ticking away rapidly "tick tock tick tock tick tock"

Madcow, atleast she has people on her show that she dosen't agree with..wiell more then Olbermonster which has exactly "0"..I hope someday Madcow overtakes Olbermonster ..and watch him turn on his creation..

    #5 The economy and Limbaugh
Howard Fineman, Limbaugh is poison to Repub party, people's confidence of economy was 16% right direction after Obama 40%
Olbertaxdodge: Limbaugh wants low taxes no regulations to benefit the rich 'like Limbaugh'. Because unlike you Olverpaid, Limbaugh will actually pay the higher taxes.
Alter: smart for White House to keep bringing up Limbaugh.

-- And in case you missed it, Maddow did her best impression of a 12-year-old boy on Leno last nite, labeling US healthcare system "stupid and embarrassing" in the interview: --

Why is GE trying to destroy NBC? Soon a sheet of toilet paper will be worth more than a share of GE stock.

    A must read.

    http://www.anncoulter.com/

Ann Coulter's destruction of the myth that Olbermann has a "Ivy League" education.

So...for the past eight years we lived under a dictatorship. Wow...then lets do that again. We've already had 43 days of a Stalinist regime.

The Coulter thing was funny, and I figured Jimmy Legs wouldn't mention it if it was mostly true. He didn't, so I guess it is. State College Keith!

He's rolling now, chopping down Sean, Rush, BOR, Fox, etc. Haven't seen him this giddy since the night after the election and or the swearing of his "Lord" Obama.

How does BillO make WPIW list 3 days in a row for the exact same "offense" each time?

And Coutler nailed it, semantics and nitpicky gotchas are Keith's bread and butter. I wonder if KO realizes that he's the inspiration for The Office's Andy Bernard character?

aaaaaand now Keith has called for Harry Reid to sue Sean Hannity for implying (or inferring?) that Reid is a traitor. Seriously, Keith, you didn't do that to Bush for 8 years? It's like Jimmy Legs is Tom Hanks in that old SNL skit "Mr. Short Term Memory."

-- aaaaaand now Keith has called for Harry Reid to sue Sean Hannity for implying (or inferring?) that Reid is a traitor. Seriously, Keith, you didn't do that to Bush for 8 years? --

Just before that segment, Olverpaid stated as fact that Bush suspended the constitution after 9/11 until the end of Bush's term. Shouldn't President Obama PROSECUTE Bush? Where's the outrage Olberpus? Obama is letting criminal Bush off the hook.

exactly what is Keith's beef with O'Reilly speaking at the anti-rape group? His misinterpretation of Billo's words from a few years ago? Granted, even if Billo said exactly what Keith thinks he did, so what? Does he think all people should be disqualified for a past mistake and can never atone for that and should thus be destroyed forever? I wonder, if O'Reilly wasn't pulling a 2-to-1 ratings punk job on Olby every night would Olby even care?

Billo is a big media personality who is going to raise a lot of money for this group. Does Keith not want the anti-rape group to get the money? Is Keith pro-rape?

Why not say the Alexa group is the WPITW? That would show them, wouldn't it?

It's like he's trying to shame Billo into backing out. Oh yeah, that'll work. For someone obsessed with O'Reilly, Olby doesn't seem to understand him very much.

Prediction: Keith will continue to make Bill O'Reilly the 3rd worst person on every episode until either Bill backs off, Alexa Foundation disinvites him, or until after March 19 when Bill speaks there.

It's another Groundhog Day in the Hour of Spin.
#5A: Video title: "Getting rid of Rush." Howard Fineman let fly.
#5B: "Attacking Obama's policy." Another Newsweek guy, far-Lefty Alter, swapped places with Howie.

#4: Rove and Miers are going to testify under oath at the big fishing expedition. The second night in a row of Olby and the Perfesser, Sir Jonathan Turley.

Oddball: A waste of a 911 call. A woman in Florida called 911 because her McDonalds didn't have Chicken McNuggets. I know this because she was a Pinhead in tonight's Pinheads & Patriots on "The Factor."

BPitW: More "P&P" stealing from Bathtub Boy: http://tinyurl.com/bwpf2d

#3: Video title: "Bush administration violated rights." Keith "I am not politically biased" Olbermann conducted a blue dress interview with far-left Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI). Time to update The List.

Indefinitely Bushed: Tom DeLay. Blue blog source: Oralmann's own blog. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/3/4/84625/51881/317/704482

#2: The Media Matters Minute. Worse was Another O'Reilly Attack. Blue blog source: Newsliars. http://www.newshounds.us/2009/03/04/it_happened_to_alexa_support_group_for_rape_victims_stands_over_oreilly_invite.php
The full second hour of the August 2, 2006, "Radio Factor" exonerates Bill. Context is everything. Give it up, Keith and friends.

Worser was eeevil Republican Rep. Trent Franks of Arizona and "Fox Noise [Ding!] news actress Megyn Kelly." Blue blog source: Think Propaganda. http://thinkprogress.org/2009/03/02/franks-lie-red-light-express/
Method of attack: use mock-spooky voice to describe earmarks.

Worst was Sean Hannity. Blue blog source: Newsliars (again?). http://www.newshounds.us/2009/03/04/hannity_accuses_harry_reid_of_wanting_american_troops_to_die.php
Manatee! [Ding!] Boss Limbaugh! [Ding!] Indignation and outrage. Treason! "Mr. Reid should sue Hannity's ASS OFF!" Quote read from Sen. Joe McCarthy [Ding!]. Yes, Edward R. Olbermoronn played the McCarthy card again.
    Make it stop!

#1: A montage of various out-of-context clips of Rush Limbaugh.
    Thank you and good night.

    Sadly, Jeff, you're probably right.

That's treason, A47, and Mr. Olbermann should sue your ass off. ;)
    I'm kidding, of course.

Wow, you are a sharp one J$, excellent video! The # 1 story for Olby make it such a creative slam.

    Glad you're on my side.

meerkat!! You incorrectly applied the term "regime" to Obama's rule. I distinctly heard tonight the "Lie-on King" state that Bush's presidency was a "regime".

    Get with THE program! ....hehe

Keithee really is one sick dude to keep slamming that Alexa organization. Sick, demented dude.

maybe my gaydar is sending false readings but the super-duper giddy lisps of cross-eyed Alter and Area 51 looney lawyer Turley seemed excessive tonight

Was there any news on the Dems who are breaking ranks against the 9000 earmarks? Remember how a week ago that was a joke of a story cause only the Republicans were against them, and now some Dems are opposing it and urging others to stick it to Obama so now it's a pretty big story to "real" news stations.

I'd watch, but I know what date it is and what actually happened in the news today. Both of those things are non-existent during Countdown.

    Keith's Communications degree
    From Bush League University
    It's no Ivy League school
    Keith's full of stool
    Like his ho from UCSB

Check out Ann Coulter's weekly online column for today at www.anncoulter.com.

Her topic is our hero, Crazy Keith.

"I can't help it...I get so worked up on KO's lies." :) But he was in rare "jackass" form tonight.

Well it will be one of the last two, no make that the last one. Olby is trying to ride this dead horse one last time. He thinks that in his mind he won the last round and is hoping for the same thing again.

He doesn't care about a foundation that helps anyone that has Bill O' Reilly speaking to them, for it's his blind hatred of O'Reilly.

I'm sure he is also hoping that his zombie viewers will call and shame this place into disinviting Bill. But by scanning the Countdown Website, it seemed that the most looked at video for Tuesday was some cat rescue in Japan. Plus, no one is posting comments at 'The News Hole' anymore. What's that tell you about what is or is not watching at 'Countdown'?

Look for Olby to turn his venom on the foundation around the 17th or 18th.

This is off topic but I have to ask. Over at CNN at 8 EST, are they just running a test pattern at this point or is Campbell Brown's show that bad? In the ratings book she is getting David Schuster numbers.

Mike C.- I have to say, that moderatevoice article is pretty terrible. That guy obviously does not listen to Limbaugh.

At the end of Countdown, did KO try and say Rush was jealous of [keiths] job at espn almost 14 yrs ago? That as bad as the Sarah Palin wanted to be him in 1989 and named her daughter free Britsol b/c Keith worked there.

I had 20 minutes available to watch Olbermoron tonight...I had to change the channel before he finished the question.

That's what I get for not reading the whole article. I'm sorry, irush.

I hope you are right, puck30. I don't think #1 will happen. I am worried about #2. I hope that it is #3. Bill must win this round.

BULLETIN: John Stewart stays on message, Olverpaid off on a tagent.

I just caught 15 minutes of John Stewart's show. I don't usually watch him, and I don't agree with his political outlook. But I have seen him interview people politically opposite of him and I thought he was fair with them. He at least can tolerate dissenting views.

The reason I'm posting this is because he just spent 15 minutes showing old clips of CNBC shows (incl. Jim Cramer) talking about how great the economy was and everything was secure from fall 2007/spring 2008. He had some good gotcha moments. Stewart also mocked the pundits relying on the dow jones average. Then he had a financial reporter on pointing out how wall street caused the mess and benefited from the govt. bailout.

Basically Stewart spent 30 minutes defending the economy against Obama's attackers. He did a pretty good job (except for implying Santelli was asking 'wall street' during his rant).
John Stewart comedian, doing the job that Olverpaid the journalist, is not capable of doing. Since MSNBC wants to throw money away for 5 hours a week, they should at least look at Stewart to do the job.

    U N W A T C H A B L E drivel-laden propaganda!

Thanks for the heads up re: Ann Coulter.com. Loved it!

I was angry with you, I was just giving my 2 cents on the article. Trying to equate KOs style with Rush's just seems absurd to me. Even Lawrence O'Donnell said today on hardball that when you sit down and listen to Rush you can't help find both humor and debate. IMO, Bill Maher is more comparable (except he drops F-bomb a little too often).

You mean you weren't angry with me?

It appears as if Coulter is wrong about Cornell's College of Agriculture and Sciences. From Cornell's website,

"Considered the best of its kind in the nation, Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) offers the resources of a world-class Ivy League institution"

    http://www.cals.cornell.edu/cals/prospective/admissions/index.cfm

Another website backing up the Ivy League claim (other than wikipedia).

    http://dic.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/310661

And CALS does have a communications department, of which Keith obtained his major. Reports are mixed on whether it's a B.A. or a B.S.

However, she is right about CALS being a statutory school.

Please let me know if you have evidence other than Coulter's article that I'm wrong.

Oh, and is it all right if I curse you all out for that unexpected showing of Michael Musto? :-)

I meant to say that I "WASN'T mad at you", no reason for anyone to be upset here. Let's get back to Olby Bashing

CALS "offers the resources of" a world class Ivy League.... That doesn't imply that CALS is Ivy League, but just that it offers the resources of one???

I don't know, but Coulter is not stupid. I can't I amagine she come on so strong and somehow turn out really wrong.

First, great job tonight! I love you all for saving me in my twilight from having to watch him to know what the ass said. Mike, great links!

I called the It Happened To Alexa Foundation to express my support for BOR and I am sending a small donation. The administrator, Susan, is a lovely woman and was very appreciative of the support and the donation.

I found out that it has a very small 2 - 3 person staff and they really depend on this fund raiser.

The Official And Only Johnny Dollar and Mark Koldys Thread

This is one page of comments. While there do at least check out AAP (yes, its Patsy), Michael Weston and john t, the real mental midget.

This is a comment from AAP in one of the "main" threads which are moderated**

"Talk about the stupid leading the imb0cile (That's you Jeffy)

Instead of steering clear of an indefensible issue, Marky Koldys (Johnny Dollar), PhalluCee (Cee) and Golddigger (Cecelia) feel compelled to defend Herr Billdo.

Marky Koldys goes on with his halfassed Billdo impersonation, going after Keith Olbermann. Oh, wait... he does that 24/360.

PhalluCee (Cee) once more takes up the pious road and condemns the young temptress because a work of fiction told him the world is going to hell if you don't believe in Chimpuschrist. Oh, wait... on this one Pastor PhalluCee is defending Billdo's white, xtian, male, power structure.

Golddigger believes the appropriate thing to do is getting drunk in a respectable establishment, while sugar daddy waits at home.

No self-respecting lady walks the streets, unless she is asking for it.

I hope these three sorry excuses for Billdo contact rape and abuse victim support centers and tell the victims to stop whining.

Keith Olbermann, why are you persecuting the "It Happened To Alexa" Foundation ? Sure, you made Bill O'Reilly worse person in the world.
Your bitter insults, however, have been aimed at the organization. Don't you have something better to do with your valuable news hour? Persecuting a non-profit organization that is solely in existance to help people that have suffered trauma seems awfully mean-spirited. What did the "It Happened To Alexa Foundation" ever do to you, Keith Olbermann? Sir?

For one, I found no articles other than Coulter's saying that it was not an Ivy League school (and I spent about an hour on this).

And Coulter also claimed that the College of Arts and Sciences is the only Ivy League school at Cornell. So CALS offers the resources of the College of Arts and Sciences??? That makes no sense.

Coulter is not stupid, but she would say or do anything to bash liberals and the left, so it's not out of the question that she has faulty information.

And regardless of the best of whether or not it is classified Ivy League, CALS is one of the best of its kind in the nation, according to the CALS website, "In national surveys we rank as the best college of agriculture and related sciences in the country."

Just like everything Keith Olbermann says is questioned on this site, sometimes you also have to question what those on the right say and/or claim. No matter how smart, they're not always right.

Furthermore, CALS is not one of the "endowed schools", it is a state school. The endowed schools are typicially considers the elite "ivy" school. If you go to the admissions page on. Cornell site and click the PDF of Class of 2012 profile then you can see differeces b/a endowed colleges and state schools. I think Ann was pretty accurate after all.

I forgot to mention that they have started a petition and are pushing it hard.

Ann acknowledged CALS was a good school for agriculture, but not communcation studies

The endowed schools cost 2x as much and are much harder to get accepted to- that's the point she was making. Endowed=Ivy. CALS->not endowed->not ivy.

Just did some deep digging on the Cornell website and I found this article, which, I think, proves my point.

"Applied Economics and Management (AEM) is a large and diverse department in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Our 40 tenured faculty members and senior academic staff are internationally known scholars with training in the fields of applied economics and business. The AEM community also includes about 750 undergraduates, 65 graduate students, and 60 members of the professional and support staff.

Since its inception in 1909 as the Departments of Rural Economy, and Farm Crops and Farm Management, AEM has been concerned with the application of the theories and tools of economics and management to agricultural, food, and resource systems and to rural communities.

Today our programs include long-standing emphases in agricultural economics, environmental and resource economics, international development economics, international trade, and agribusiness management. However, we have also moved beyond our historical roots into areas more broadly focused on business, including finance, marketing, strategy, business law, accounting, and organizational theory.

We are admittedly proud of our highly regarded undergraduate, graduate, research, and extension programs.

The Undergraduate Business Program in Applied Economics and Management is among the largest majors on the Cornell campus and features specializations in both business and applied economics. The program is accredited by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, making us one of only two accredited undergraduate business degree programs in the Ivy League. Our graduates (about 220 per year) have a high placement rate and their starting salaries are considerably higher than the national average of business majors."

Coulter is referring to the concept that Ivy League = exclusive, elite, expensive and private.
    Ivy League from wikipedia
The term also has connotations of academic excellence, selectivity in admissions, and social elitism.

The term became official, especially in sports terminology, after the formation of the NCAA Division I athletic conference in 1954,[2] when much of the nation polarized around favorite college teams. The use of the phrase is no longer limited to athletics, and now represents an educational philosophy inherent to the nation's oldest schools.[3]

All of the Ivy League's institutions place near the top in the U.S. News & World Report college and university rankings and rank within the top one percent of the world's academic institutions in terms of financial endowment. Seven of the eight schools were founded during America's colonial period; the exception is Cornell, which was founded in 1865. Ivy League institutions, therefore, account for seven of the nine Colonial Colleges chartered before the American Revolution. The Ivies are all in the Northeast geographic region of the United States. They are privately owned and controlled, although many of them receive funding in the form of research grants from federal and state governments. Only Cornell has state-supported academic units, termed "statutory" or "contract" colleges, that are a part of the institution.

Look, if your talking to every a school outside of Cornell they will tell you Ivy League consists of privately endowed colleges, Cornell's affifiated state and contract schools don't meet traditional IVY requirements.

I wonder if we aren't reading the Coulter column correctly. Remember that she begins by going after Olbermann for legalistic, nitpicky 'corrections' aimed at his 'enemies'. That might be a clue as to what the rest of the column is really intended to be. But I could be wrong.

I think that bout goes to Johnny Dollar . :)

His analysis is as sharp and accurate as Ann Coulter's tongue.

Now, could you guys pay a little attention to my crusade to help the It Happened to Alexa Foundation.

I believe you, Johnny. All this Cornell talk has made me wonder: do they still have a men's (and women's, for that matter) lacrosse team?

You'd think something as concrete as whether or not Cornell's College of Agriculture of Life Science is Ivy or not would be rather cut and dry. Various sites that I've found (including Wikipedia, and we all know how reliable they are, and the one that I linked to in my first post about this) claim it is. Logic with it being a statutory school would say it's not.

The fact that AEM is a part of CALS and that AEM is Ivy, would lend credence to the argument that CALS is Ivy by deductive logic, however, once again, the state endowment argument is really good and one of which I can't prove you wrong on (although I swear I read something about that and that despite the state endowment it was Ivy, but I may be hallucinating it, I've been looking this up for the past couple hours, so who knows, I'm probably imagining it, it would not be the first time something like that has happened. And I have not been able to re-discover the source and saying something like that is no-good sans a source).

Anyway, it's been fun debating this tonight. Seeing as I got in some trouble for it last time, I guess I should publically state that I am signing out now. :-)

Let's not fall into the trap of "picking gnat sh*t out of ground pepper", as Keith is famouse for doing. Coulter, I'm sure has fine editors and legal oversight that wouldn't let her libel poor Keith.

I think I have posted by 12:51 comment a second time, sorry for that. Anyways, good night all, chat with you soon.

-- "I wonder if we aren't reading the Coulter column correctly." --

I think her point is that if you are going to be anally retentive (aka Olverpaid), don't turn around and go around bragging about your ivy league education, cos you're really a wannabe (aka Olberfraud)

In 'that' world, the other ivy leaguers consider CALS to NOT be ivy league, since NY state subsidizes tuition.

-- Coulter, I'm sure has fine editors and legal oversight that wouldn't let her libel poor Keith. --

Yeah, Olberdainty can sue her for libel, just like he urged Reid to do with Hannity on Wed. show.

Oh, no, Grammie, I quite like Patsy making juvenile insults about me from the computer in the prison library.

It's a small price to pay to keep him occupied.

If he wasn't engaged in this and trying to look sexy enough to entice cigarettes from fellow inmates and guards, he'd have more time to work on his parole.

"You'd think something as concrete as whether or not Cornell's College of Agriculture of Life Science is Ivy or not would be rather cut and dry."

    from CALS' own site:

Considered the best of its kind in the nation, Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) offers the resources of a world-class Ivy League institution.

And I meant to say: It would not say "the resources of" an "Ivy League institution" if CALS WAS an Ivy league school.

Bingo, he's right again! I always post what I am told to at the weekly meetings I attend at Dracula's castle with Mr. Burns, El Rushbo, Kent Brokman, and Krusty the Clown.

Thanks for the defense Grammie. I will always know individuals like AAP cannot understand where I am coming from. Hatred does that to the brain and soul.

However, people even has distasteful and disrespectful as those at the pound, are entitled to their opinion, even now when our federal executive and his staff seem ready to give us all the example that there will be no room for critique or disagreement. If AAP and his friends believe attacking a group that helps victims of sexual assult is worth their energy, so be it.

I encourage Olbermann and his fellow travelers to continue with their dishonesty, hubris and demogoguery. It makes for easy ridicule and reinforces my correct belief that the left is wrong.

Cee-- "The It Happened to Alexa Foundation has my support both in spirit and in more tangible ways. "

As Boss Rush says, "Mega-dittos, baby!"

Why on earth would anyone get a Communications degree from a "College of Agriculture..."? Keith basically has a meaningless Liberal Arts degree from a Community College... it's not like he has a Ph.D from a real Ivy League school.

    What a hoot.

I really enjoyed that Ann Coulter column. Olbermann's obvious self-doubt makes it all too easy for someone like Coulter to effectively attack.

Name droppers of any stripe only do so because they have deep seeded insecurities. I see it all the time in my line of work.

No college or university can make up for flawed human character. This is a simple lesson from history and those that choose to pass judgement on their lessers because of such labels perpetuate a system antithetical to their supposed "populism," hense my sarcastic moniker, "Church of SNOBamessiah."

I know it's beyond the perception of this sociopath, but I'm sure everyone else sees the ...eh...irony...in what is this...person's.... last sentence and his wishes for Grammie and Johnny.

Move on, jerk. If you don't like the It Happened to Alexa Foundation's decision, then don't support them.

There are other organizations that do good work for battered/assaulted women. Support them and get on with what...I will loosely refer to as "your life".

A majority of the country is gripped in economic fear and self-loathing, dear poster from the pound. Just like before the Iraq War when large majorities supported Bush, and after when that number shrank away, polls do not guide my thinking.

I have no problem being in the minority who's prinicples are consistent with sound moral instruction and whose conduct these last several years was not one of irresponsible spending and debt. For those who thought that having massive negative net worth was not a problem, (it seems it is many of those who support Obama), his plans to erase their irresposible behavior are attractive.

But in regards to personal freedom and future prosperity, I know that these plans will bring ruin to our world. The alternatives conservative and responsible leaders like Governor Jindal and Mitt Romney have proposed balance helping those in true need and allowing the hard lessons of the real world instruct those who chose to be selfish and irresponsible both on Main Street and Wall Street. I know that a nanny state is attractive to some now when such insecurity abounds, but I know giving up personal autonomy is what despots want and thankfully there is a loyal opposition to check those prepared to use this crisis to purue a personal political agenda that involves ideology long-ago proven irresponsible and destructive.

The hypocrisy that is being displayed by the leftist ruling elite also brings me comfort in knowing I am on the right side. Barack Obama claimed to be a new type of leader ready to change our government for the better. His reliance on cheap political tricks and enemies lists shows me he has less moral character and clarity that George Bush. This will be the democrats ruin as the foundation for their plans are based on lies and corruption.

Failure is usually preordained....and once again the leftist ruling class has shown us their inability to be honest, honorable or fair. One would think they would have learned a lesson on 9/11/01.

Patrick is BACK! This is GREAT! I always loved the cartoons back in the old days before I readied myself for some intellectual flick, and now I have them again. Way to go Patrick! You never cease to amaze me with your stupid and inane points of view while at the same time challenging me to figure out what the hell you're saying.

"Congress wants to boost spending on itself by nearly 11 percent this year, an increase that's part of a massive spending bill that has smaller increases for most agencies that deal with public health, education, energy, and other domestic needs.

"The congressional budget, which the Senate is considering this week as part of a $410 billion fiscal 2009 spending bill, is higher than the 8 percent overall boost for most domestic programs.

But Reed is apparently the impatient kind. He thus challenged Kaitlin to a race, who could devour their Frosty first. Kaitlin won, finishing it whole in just seconds. Friday this was. Q4: "Senator, if you have drilled into it, and you've looked at this carefully, as you say you have, does it suggest that maybe a truth commission might not be enough, and that we might actually have to have a special prosecutor? Would you support that idea?"
Q5: "Do you have a bearing, a sense of the president's opinion about this, and where he's going to wind up on it? I don't want to say he has been evasive in giving an answer about it, but he has certainly not committed himself. Do you think he should support a truth commission if there is no blanket immunity, if the possibility of prosecution is built into the equation?"
Conclusion: "Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, great thanks for being so forthright and so direct and for your time tonight, sir.
    WHITEHOUSE: My pleasure. Thank you.
OLBERMANN: When Rachel joins you at the top of the hour, our coverage continues of the military dictatorship memos, and the truth commission. Her guest is Senator Pat Leahy."
Oh, God. Then, a WPitW tease: "One way to avoid the truth, Boss Limbaugh [Ding!]. Time for a COUNTDOWN refresher course on just how off the wall he is in his own words.
And among the other worst persons, this Fox News actress claims imaginary high-speed rail lines will not go from Disneyland to Vegas, but from Disneyland to the Nevada Bunny Ranch."
    ...
"So we can now measure exactly how many people in this country the Bush-era propagandists represent, 14 percent, 14. Boss, Sean, Termite killer Tom, say good-bye now."
Low Blow KO living up to his name.

Then, WPitW, featuring the latest unfounded O'Reilly Attack and an equally unfounded attack on the Alexa Foundation. "The bronze to Bill-O [Ding!]. There is now a petition online asking the rape victim support group It Happened to Alexa Foundation to withdrawal its invitation to O'Reilly to speak at its Florida fund-raiser two weeks from tomorrow. It was O'Reilly, of course, who three years ago declared a dead New Jersey rape victim a, quote [Ding!], moronic girl, and proceed to describe how she was dressed before she was brutally and fatally attacked. The petition, from what is apparently an ad hoc group called Concerned Citizens Against Sexual Violence [by Newshounds, another fine product of the Outfoxed mob], includes a new statement from the people at the Alexa Foundation, who told us yesterday that they knew of O'Reilly's blame the victim comments [which weren't really blame the victim comments], but still wanted him at their support the victim event.
The new statement makes even less sense. An administrator at the foundation is quoted thusly online: “bill is speaking about his new book, not rape victims.” Now it is a blame the victim person addressing a group of support the victim people. Now it's a blame the victim person trying to sell a product to a group of support the victim people."

Here's the It Happened to Alexa contact info again:

Let me them know you support their cause. Don't let people blinded by ideological hatred get in their way.

As for Worser: "The silver shared by Fox Noise [Ding!] news actress Megyn Kelly and Republican Congressman Trent Franks of Arizona. The right wing [Ding!] talking point [Ding!] Bobby Jindal spat out a week ago last night apparently did not stick, that eight billion dollars of stimulus money is to be spent on a (mock spooky voice): magnetic levitation line from Las Vegas to Disneyland, one that seemed to terrify the governor.
So now it's not from Disneyland to Las Vegas, it's now the whore train. ...,” Miss Kelly claims. “... we kid you not, to the doorstep of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch Brothel in Nevada.” If only all you were doing was kidding us, Miss Kelly." Nice, Keith, nice. "“...,” Congressman Franks then parroted.
Truth be told, Congressman Reid has been hoping to refurbish an historic train line that ends in Carson City, Nevada, indeed, not seven miles from the doorstep of that brothel. But the train does not go to Disneyland. It goes to Gold Hill, Nevada, 14 miles away. Honestly, Fox, you can do better than this."
    Oy.

Then, Worst: "But our winner is the Manatee [Ding!]. In defense of Boss Limbaugh [Ding!], arguing with Lanny Davis' son, Seth, “...,” Hannity blustered? “...,” answered Davis the younger. ... That's when Hannity crossed the line, “yes,” he yelled, “yes!” That, sadly, is a passive accusation of treason against the majority leader. Mr. Reid should sue Mr. Hannity's ass off, because, to paraphrase one of Hannity's predecessors, “if Mr. Reid is giving comfort to our enemies, he ought not be in the House. “ If, on the other hand, Mr. Hannity is giving comfort to our enemies, he ought not be brought into the homes of millions of Americans by News Corp. The original version of that quote was from Senator Joe McCarthy, who is probably very proud at this moment in hell of Sean Hannity, today's worst person in the world!"

After the break: "My apologies to Senator Harry Reid, who I inexplicably put back in the House, in which he last served in 1987. I don't know."

Then, after a propagandized montage of Limbaugh and guests: "He lives at home with his cat? One other quote [Ding!], not on tape, sadly, would be from 1995, a very subdued, very modest Mr. Limbaugh to me, in the corner of the main ESPN news room. “You do a great job. Gosh, I wish I could work here.”" Not on tape, therefore Another Olbermann Lie.

Mike, that was a virtuoso recap. Bravo!

Standing O absolutely obligates you to give us a few encores this week. :)

Has Johnny created his own "All About Eve" in Mike C? :) :)

Thanks, Grammie, even though I don't know what you mean with "All About Eve."

    De nada, Mike.

Johnny is an old movie buff and he will know. Eve is a young aspiring actress who worms her way into Bette Davis's life. Eve winds up virtually stealing her career by taking a big part and almost steals her husband.

The protege outshines the master eventually.

I know what you mean now. There's only one Johnny Dollar. I don't wish to surpass him.

You beat me to it Grammie, but I was going to add that Eve was one backstabbing hussie (remember THAT word) that is nowhere near our MikeC. If MikeC is following that path I'm sure it will be with Johnny's blessing.

I saw the two smiling faces so I knew you were kidding.

I'd liken MikeC and Johnny to Red Pollard and George Woolf from "Seabiscuit." The protege arrives when in the big race they are pitted against each other to where Woolf, after getting passed by Pollard, yells out "go get 'em Red!"

But, if you saw the film, it was the "teacher" who was in the match race with Seabiscuit vs War Admiral and the teacher still had a lot left in him.

    Thank you, Ramjet.

That's very kind of you and it never hurts to have a substitute sugar daddy in the wings.

Wolf, didn't you just love that movie? The ending was soooo perfect.

One of my all time favorite lines is Bette draped on the curving staircase before the party:

Buckle your seat belts. Its going to be a bumpy ride.

I think I did a long long time ago but I really don't remember it at all.

Catty, scheming conniving women are more my cup of tea.

This just in: D.L. Hughley's CNN show has been canceled!!!
    http://cityfile.com/dailyfile/4723
He's still a CNN contributor, but no more show.

I'm only bringing this up because he laid the trap for RNC Chairman Michael Steele on Saturday night.

Yeah Grammie that's why they call them "classic's", although I'm not enamored with all the oldies, as a lot I feel were overrated simply because they were made back then, but All about Eve was one of the best.

Catty, scheming conniving women are more my cup of tea. Then I know you loved Scarlett O' Hara, but I will tell you an even better one than her and it was Ashton from the TV mini series "North and South."

She makes Scarlett look like Sister Theresa.

The ratings for yesterday are out:
    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/the_scoreboard_wednesday_march_4_110490.asp
    BOR in 25-54 at 8:00 and 11:00: 723,000 + 488,000 = 1,211,000
    KO in 25-54 at 8:00 and 10:00: 432,000 + 322,000 = 754,000

    BOR in total viewers: 3,434,000 + 1,657,000 = 5,091,000
    KO in total viewers: 1,349,000 + 903,000 = 2,252,000

Make of this what you will.

I have been fostering a casual dislike of Olbermann, but if he's going to go after Megyn Kelly I may have to become his mortal enemy!

"Truth be told, Congressman Reid has been hoping to refurbish an historic train line that ends in Carson City, Nevada, indeed, not seven miles from the doorstep of that brothel. But the train does not go to Disneyland. It goes to Gold Hill, Nevada, 14 miles away. Honestly, Fox, you can do better than this."

That was Keith's interpretation, right? See, I thought a week or two ago he was ripping anyone who suggested Reid had put money in the stimulus bill for any train projects. Now the truth is trickling out, eh?

Double irony for him blasting Fox for not "following the Republican talking points." So in his mind Fox just parrots the Republican talking points, so they should just be glomming onto whatever Jindal said? And since they are reporting something completely different, i.e. proving they are NOT following the talking points, Keith has to slam them for that.

    Whatever, Keith.

Since Keith's boss, GE CEO Jeff Immelt, sits on Obama's economic advisory board (for some reason), exactly who has the credibility to be throwing out charges of reading the talking points?

    And leave Megyn Kelly alone

"You'd think something as concrete as whether or not Cornell's College of Agriculture of Life Science is Ivy or not would be rather cut and dry.

And I have not been able to re-discover the source and saying something like that is no-good sans a source)."

Who cares really? The point of Ann's article, which Johnny Dollar correctly pointed out, has to do with the old proverb of those in glass houses...

At any rate, let's assume that somehow, some way, Olbermann did indeed graduate from an "Ivy League" school of communications. Does that school seriously want to use HIM as an example of one of their alumni, to back up their prestige? Seriously?
