I hope you all were watching the Reality Check segment on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight. It was very powerful and went right to the heart of the Olbermann-Newshounds-Think Progress hate-fueled crusade. I also hope Keith is reading this once he gets out of the proverbial [Ding!] bathtub. See how much pain you and your pals caused Alexa Branchini? Do you see what the hell you did, sir?! I don't know how the hell you live with yourself. Nor do I know how the people at these other far-left sites live with themselves. Do yourself a favor Keith and quit your job. Let Ed Schultz take over for you or move Maddow to 8:00, put Schultz at 9:00, and Seder or Cenk whatever his name is on at 10:00. But get the hell off the air, you devil.
FOXNews.com has video up of the segment, but stops short of the powerful part featuring Wendy Murphy. http://tinyurl.com/cguqa8
I'm hoping Johnny can post video of the segment by tomorrow.
Olberwomann (and his puppet staff,) can't you see how your obsession with O'Reilly has blinded you and helped bring about pain & agony to a rape victim? Your vindictivness has caused more pain than Imus' "nappy headed hoes" comment caused to the Rutger Basketball team. I've got just one word for you Mr. Olbermann:
RESIGN
It's it time for a fire_olbermann.com website? He's gone over the top. WHERE ARE THE FEMINISTS GROUPS? HELLO N.O.W. WHERE ARE YOU?
Yes, I watched BOR and his attack of NBC was very powerful. Keith has no shame in his sliminess and the pain that he has caused Alexa and her family. There is really nothing else to say. Keith will not apologize for his reprehensible conduct. I am ashamed that Keith purports to call himself a liberal and yet he has done irreparable harm to a victim of rape.
It's already up on Fox's Factor website:

Great Thanks (henceforth GT in my comments), I have the direct link in my 9:31 comment. As I said, it stops short of the most powerful part. What Wendy Murphy said went right to the heart of Vendettamann and his crusaders.
The ambushee has put her spin on tonight's powerful segment:
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/03/23/oreilly-terkel/
She conveniently left out the damage that she, Media Matters, Newshounds, and Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann collectively caused the It Happened to Alexa Foundation and Alexa Branchini herself.
Also, she puts out a new distortion based on the full second hour of that 8/2/06 "Radio Factor" that people like her should have listened to in the first place.
As a result of this, Keith will not do what we would like to do and get the hell off the air. Instead, when he returns to the air tomorrow, he will use the ambushee's above source and continue the theatrical indignation and faux outrage in Another O'Reilly Attack. And I don't think the attack will be limited to WPitW. This will be a full segment attack and will cause further grief to those he and his hater crusaders (a phrase that didn't come up in Google search; so I guess I've coined it) already caused. Thanks a lot, JERK! (For newcomers, that is a reference to Keith's "thanks a lot, Dick!" attack for anyone named Richard that doesn't like.)
"...that *he* doesn't like."
Today on "The Glenn Beck Program," Glenn replied to the Oralmann-Maher-Sanders-Ross Sorkin-Washington attack from Friday in the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood: http://tinyurl.com/c78w56
The above link is to TVNewser and is in the OlbyFlood. It features embed video of The One Thing. Here's a direct link to the video: http://tinyurl.com/cyvxga
Fasten your seat belts. It's a long one.
Mike C, interesting how Terkel complains that her interview was edited to make her look bad, yet her and others are twisting O'Reilly's words against him. She learns well from Jimmy Legs. I just want to ask her and the people who think like her: Do you think the people at Alexa Foundation are not aware of O'Reilly's comments and what a non-story they are? Shouldn't the fact that less than 900 people out of the needed 10,000 for the online petition even bothered with it tell you something? I bet I could find 900 people that say the Earth is flat. :)
I watched BOR and his post-show recap tonight and he was still talking about his Reality Check part. It was very powerful and he held back no punches. I'm sure KO will try some 'spin' tomorrow night if he comes back from that LONG flight from L.A.
But I think this time, BOR trumped KO..."game, set and match" goes to Bill. Keith...you had a decent run until you went totally liberal and made everyone forget you were even on SportsCenter and now it's time for you to so sir...to quote you. "Good night...get out." (tossing paper into the camera as it shatters, showing K.D. Lang on the other side)
And now, Crooks and Liars is piling on: http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/fox-news-ambush-crews-flagrant-abuse
This guy, too, left out what Wendy Murphy said. Here's what he basically said: Oh, that evil horror called ambush journalism. Bill O'Reilly sucks. He's a wingnut [Ding!]. Stalkers! [Ding!]
One of the commenters brought up the lawsuit. I wouldn't have even know about this crap if it didn't show up in the OlbyFlood. But as I type, it's at the top.
Also in the OlbyFlood, TVNewser picked up on Think Propaganda's O'Reilly smear via Hersh/MSNBC: http://tinyurl.com/c4vh24
Here's the softball teed up to the baseball card collector: "One note: Hersh never appeared on MSNBC. The claims were made in a speech at the University of Minnesota, and were later discussed during Countdown with Keith Olbermann." So, never mind about TP being the blue blog source for the likely attack. It's TVNewser now. This means Monkeymann will to change his tune about the site. When they were critical of NBC, they were "in Fox's pocket." Now that they've echoed a TP smear (they linked to the Boston Herald version of the column, too) and advanced the smear by pointing out that Bill made an error, they're a ripped and read source for a WPitW attack. Olbypocrisy, anyone?
And remember Merkle's 180-degree turn on Charles Babington of the AP in late summer? After now-President Obama's DNC speech on August 28, he's tell him to "find new work." On September 12: "You have unsuspected depth, sir."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26744805/
Corrections:
1) "I wouldn't have even *known*..."
2) "This means Monkeymann will change his tune..."
3) It wasn't just TVNewser. It was Steve Krakauer. From "Fox's pocket" to another candidate for "unsuspected depth" and a source for an attack, as if Terkel's and Neiwert's sources weren't enough.
Boy, I ended up doing a lot of work tonight. And I've been too busy watching the World Baseball Classic Championship Game and posting here to watch Glenn's The One Thing.
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/03/23/watters-ambush/
this is Amanda Terkel's verson of the alleged "ambush" by BOR's people this weekend. what a crock.
she didn't look dumfounded on the video and she could've easily come clean about things but you knew she wouldn't. No doubt KO will attack this tomorrow, if he's on and make BOR worst person hands down.
She posted that in the afternoon. The link to her post-show reply will be the source. I don't think Rip 'n Read will touch the C&L link...unless he uses both. Then, there's "Hersh wasn't on MSNBC" and what Glenn said.
And to be fair to Krakauer, he also posted the Beck link. Steve Krakauer, like Spud at ICN, is his own man. They're not in anybody's pocket and they aren't partisans for any cable news channel. But in any given post of theirs, people will presume they *are* in either side's or either network's pocket.
Come to think of it, Bill O'Reilly is his own man, too. Partisans on the left think he's a Republican shill. Partisans on the right think he's a Democrat shill.
I have 11:08 to go in The One Thing.
Its late and I'm tired to lay it out now but does anyone else see several glaring differences between her comment at TP and what actually occurred?
Yes.
With the WBC Championship Game completed and Japan having won in 10 innings, I finished watching The One Thing. The video went out of sync toward the end, but it was good. The Maher panel comes up with 2:59 left.
Johnny has posted the full Reality Check video at J$P and it shouldn't be long before he posts it here. http://homepage.mac.com/mkoldys/blog/psk259567346.html
"I bet I could find 900 people that say the Earth is flat. :)"-GrtTnks
Well, suuuurrre. No big. Betcha' can't find 900 people who would betcha', since the earth is flat. I can see it from my house!

My 2 cents on BillO ambush...
I think the point of these ambushes is to say to these looney left wing bloggers, "hey, you want to go on your website and smear people without warning? Fine. I'll do the same to you, but it won't just be a few thousand web bloggers that see it, I have a TV audience of 4 million viewers per night.".
The bloggers started this war and I don't feel bad for this woman or anyone else Billo ambushes. They are just getting a little bit of their own medicine.
I agree, irushbaby. And for those who say O'Reilly should invite them on his show....where were these blogger's invitations to O'Reilly to give a statement regarding their allegations?
MEDIA MATTERS and their ilk ambush and never ask for the other side of the story. Same with Olbermann. They tell their side, usually with selective quotes and lack of context, and pose opinion as fact.
O'Reilly was on target last night and Terkel looked foolish....she admitted to not highlighting the Mel Gibson portion of O'Reilly's commentary which changes the context. "Blaming the victim," is one conclusion, the illogical/demogogic/inflammatory one, while cooler heads see O'Reilly's intent as to convery common sense to a tragic situation that occurs all too frequently in free society.
Oh goodie...Olbermann is used as a source of Obama criticism in the latest NRSC web ad. Just his voice, over a segment from COUNTDOWN at 1:00......
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUQI5PzKPPs
Newshounds is the latest site to spin the ambush and leave out the damage caused to Alexa, her family, and her foundation. http://tinyurl.com/chl7ve
And two hours before the ambush aired, Media Matters tried to paint Bill as violating his ambush rules: http://mediamatters.org/items/200903230038
So, once again, in the minds of these people, including Keith, the hell with who we hurt as long as we hurt people we hate. It's very sad and frustrating, isn't it?
Not only is Keith not quitting TV after we found out all the damage he did. He's coming back tonight guns blazing with guess who? Amanda Terkel. This will never stop!!!! It's sabbatical time for me. Keep in touch via e-mail. Bye.
I caught Beck before Red Eye last night/this morning and now I like Beck even more. Not only did he confirm himself to what he is, and what I've been trying to tell others that's who he is, but he called KO Andy Bernard and poked fun at him.
i think I identify with Beck because he's a lot like myself. Not college educated, personal demons, and a guy who loves his country and the people who live in it.
I also like that the NY Times is a correspondent on Red Eye now.
Sometimes it all just seems like a bad joke. I wish more people would jump on the bandwagon and denounce this crap. This is an attack on a rape victim and an organization who helps rape victims and it seems like no one gives a damn.

"I bet I could find 900 people that say the Earth is flat. :)"
Remember GT, Jim Jones found around 900 people to take a drink once.
Bill has to be kicking himself over airing this Monday. Now, this woman will have a much larger audience b/c KO ratings will jump 5x above a typical night as a result of the Obama presser. One would anticipate Olbermann taking advantage this numbers bump to promote himself rather than the issues addressed by the President. Maybe it will backfire this time as people will be left with no doubt that Olbermann is all about himself rather than news coverage and issues.
However, at the same time BillO needs to knock off the anti-NBC garbage. It is clear that Olbermanns show is dependent on O'Reilly and not visaaversa but lately it has not been as clear. MSNBC is far left, this is clear. BillO won the battle, doesn't need to tell anyone this, it's well known, he was sucessful in showing NBC/MSNBC was far left. MSNBC ratings continue to decline He needs to give it a rest now.
Olby went to non-Ivy Kornell
He's self-conscious about that you can tell

Wouldn't hire him at Taco Bell

I don't think Bill gives a hoot about how msnbc, and especially olbermann, reacts to his fair and balanced world. He looked like he was just really pissed in how Terkel spun her column without any knowledge of what Bill actually said. To not go after her after she lied with the risk of causing the Alexia Foundation great damage would go against everything he stands for.
Think of it this way: msnbc is a terrorist organization, with olbermann being their leader. Bill preaches a free democracy (which also means millions more viewers), and the terrorists (msnbc led by olbermann)can't stand it so they attack (without any proof or cause) his belief's. Which, as in this case, the innocents get in the way. Not unlike when OBL attacked the Towers. Bill has no choice but to go after them, for to do nothing for the sake of higher ratings for olbermann, would be to undermine all that he stands for. Ratings aren't his thing, as being right is.
The parallel's, by the way, are mind boggling if you really think about it.
After watching "The Factor" and feeling better about things, I decided to return. I'm still not recapping segments, though.
