Shareholder activist Tom Borelli gives a first-hand account of the rowdy shareholders meeting where stockholders berated NBC's Jeff Immelt over the embarrassment that is A-Mess-NBC:
UPDATE:
Can't wait for BOR tonight, Jesse should have some good stuff from the GE conference.
That's a great Beck segment.
At GE they'll cut off your mic
Jeffrey Immelt and the Third Reich
Shareholders get screwed
Jeff Immelt gets booed
The Board should send Jeff on a hike
Thank God for TiVos.
Lakers in Game 3 and the Im-melt(ing) rouser.
Tonight ought to be a great night for the telly.
I heard on Fox and Friends this morning that Jesse Watters is actually a GE stock holder. Why should he identify himself as a Fox employee? Does everyone who chooses to speak at these meetings need to identify their place of employment? Ohters who also questioned GE's falling stock prices and the left tilted MSNBC also had their mikes shut down. Lois B.
Despite all this, Keith Clustermann will still end up attacking Bill, Jesse Watters, Rupert Murdoch, Fox, and News Corp both. Tonight's attack will be based on the Hollywood Reporter story (linked here via Reuters) and tomorrow will focus on what Bill said tonight on the air. It is so easy to predict what this slovenly political hack will do.
Was watching Anrea Mitchell at the gym this morning. Might as well suffer twice while I am there. Great headline at the top of the screen. "Obama faces to wars".
I was most buoyed by the supportive clapping and then the booing in the clip above.
The hate speech was obvious, and Keith Olbermann endorced it, showing us all, once and for all, NBC NEWS standards....Mr. Immelt should be ashamed of himself for not taking the opportunity to stand up to hate speech.
NBC NEWS is a pathetic organization.
KO gave Jessie his second worst person of the world slot. Stating that "little" Jessie, as he called him was found out by GE people and then denying that he was taping parts of what was going on. And that his mic wasn't cut off as he had mentioned.
KO then said that Jessie only had on a simple tag that said his name and nothing more. He should've identified himself as an employee of Fox news. Geez KO, get a clue dude. If he bought stock, he's a stockHOLDER. He doesn't have to say WHERE he's from or WHERE he works at.
Just face the facts KO, he got you bigtime and you just can't handle it.
It's amazing how Immelt said when probed by waters about MSNBC he said he disagreed with some of it, then changed his position to "most" of it.
Surprisingly, Keith decided to leave that part out.
So... let's recap KO's career.
Banned by Espn from ESPN.
Fired by Fox, Murdoch called him crazy.
Heckuva job there Keithie
Perhaps 10 yrs later he'll have a show on Pravda slamming Immelt.
