Too funny, Johnny.
Seven years later and KO is still trapped in his own little corner of The Twilight Zone.
Where is Obobblemann? Is he in a tub? Where oh where is Obubblemann?
lol what's Robin doing on there?
He's probably getting his diploma a tune up, and than a bath.
Must be sitting in the tub watching The Factor and crying his little eyes out.

I caught Olby attacking O'Reilly for his ratings drop this week. I was snowboarding in Mammoth and was flipping channels one night. I didn’t see a mention of this, so I thought I should post it. There is so much falsehood out there on the internet (and on his show). One can only fight lies with hard truths. I really have no idea if KO lurkers know the truth, so I’ll just lay it out in case they’re reading.
http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/03/27/oreilly-vs-olbermann-through-thursday-march-26/15369#more-15369
In his spiel, he strategically picked a date in October (I think it was like 10/17 or something) that obviously would skewer the “one who has no character” the best way he could. That's good math for him, 'cause O’Reilly really peaked at that time. (Actually, everybody went up with the election looming….) Unfortunately, it's bad math for him personally, 'cause his numbers turn out even worse since then. But, of course, he would never admit that to his audience…...
Let's compare ratings since the election coverage:
BOR - 22.5% drop in viewers
KO - 48% drop in viewers
Let's compare ratings from before the bump to today:
BOR - 46% net gain
KO - 30% net gain
It’s becoming clear why Olby would not tell you the whole truth. In other words, par for the course.
Total viewers this calendar year:
BOR – spiked and holding steady
KO – clearly declining
BOR averages about 3.25 million viewers on a BAD night - and that's just for his first show
KO averages about 1.5 million viewers on his BEST night.
The demographic (25 to 54 yr olds):
BOR - 800K at 5PM
KO - 500K at 5PM
To put it in perspective, it was pathetic when KO bragged and bragged when his demo actually beat BOR in a head-to-head ten-minute segment about a year ago. If I remember right, BOR wasn't even in the office that day/week. Then in June ’08, KO beat BOR for a full hour in the demo one time. MSNBC was so proud that they actually put out a press release. Talk about a premature ejaculation! The ship was righted the very next week - and with an extremely rare exception (to be fair, I don’t have the hard data to confirm one way or the other) – it hasn’t flipped back since. Furthermore, the demo is clearly separating in BOR's favor since the KO kiddies came out of their momma’s basement and voted in the community organizer.
Needless to say, KO has NEVER beaten BOR in total viewers - and it's not even close.
Now….remember, BOR beats KO at 5PM (Pacific) better than 2-to-1, (and lately as much as 3:1). What about the reruns? It's even worse for Olbermann.
Rerun at 8PM Pacific (which is when I usually watch):
BOR - 1.7 million (200,000 more than KO's FIRST showing)
KO - well below that in his rerun at 10PM Pacific (and he can’t even blame BOR)
KO – no better than 800,000, let’s say
Living on the West Coast, I don’t ignore the early morning show at 2AM either in case I miss the earlier ones. I can’t find reliable ratings for that show, but I recall seeing data a couple years ago when Olbermann was really turning on the attacks. I remember OlbermannWatch keeping a running tally of every time KO would have a BOR attack. The meter broke at 110 or so, and then J$ stopped keeping score. I remember something like 500K BOR viewers. Let's say, for the sake of argument, both KO and BOR are holding steady at 500K for their early morning – and KO often doesn’t get a third airing. (An absurdity, but stay with me.)
Total viewers per night:
BOR - 5.5 million (at the very worst)
KO - 2.8 million (at best - to be fair)
Now these are numbers I’ve picked out that are the most fair to Olbermann. Just stop and think about this for a second. Let it really sink in. This is the BEST KO can do. The BEST. Yet….every cotton pickin' day, Olby is out there obsessing over O'Reilly.
Olbermann is the textbook definition of a MENTAL MIDGET.
In comparison, I think O'Reilly has ever mentioned his name maybe twice. What more needs to be said?
Fannie Mae was a bed of roses
Barney Frank was blowing Herb Moses
Barney had gay sex
With Fannie Mae execs
Think he cares if your home forecloses?
When he *does* refer to Keith, he does so indirectly.
Nice analysis, LucasCop. Listening to Olbermann brag about being the #1 cable news program not on FNC, is like AMC bragging about being America's biggest car company not named GM, Ford or Chrysler.

LOL! "I'm the no.1 loser!" KO
Too damn funny Katy Turic!!!
Is Laura Ingraham beginning to wear anybody's patience a bit thin out there? Maybe just me but, she shouted over BOR about 5 times in 4 minutes tonight. Curious.
Or if the Mets were to claim in 2007 and '08 that they were the #1 team in the National League East not called the Phillies. (I say that as a Mets fan, which the discredited baseball card collector is, too.)
Reasons for not being on the air tonight:
(1) Bill's reaching almost the 4 million mark at the 8pm slot made the "Lie-On King" sick
(2) Keithee was told by Jeff Immelt that he has to interview bobbleheads as GE has no money for guests
(3) He had a hot date with Madcow
Feel free to speculate as to other reasons since speculation is Obobblemann's favorite pasttime.
>Is Laura Ingraham beginning to wear anybody's patience a bit thin out there? Maybe just me but, she shouted over BOR about 5 times in 4 minutes tonight.
It's already worn thin on me, but I try to watch every week. Tonight, I gave up and muted the TV after two minutes or so, which is what usually happens with me. Laura is the most annoying and obnoxious regular. But as I've said before, Bill likes debating with her and also likes her as a fill-in.
By the way, did anybody see last night's "Red Eye"? That Jimmy Jellinek, a writer for Playboy, made the aforementioned Laura look patient, respectful, and willing to wait until prompted to speak. He filibustered, segment hijacked, and also took potshots at Fox. I hope he never shows up again. I don't like that Nick Gillespie ("Jill-espie") from Reason magazine, either, for the same reason.
Laura is starting to become a bit annoying. Still like her better than Dr. Hill.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Olbermann's days off recently have been a little sporadic haven't they? Other than the Leno appearance it's like this day or that day. My only thought is that it could be he's having trouble booking guests. Perhaps Amanda Terkel wasn't available.
More reasons for not being on the air tonight:
-He wanted to show up, but his Jimmy Legs have a mind of their own.
-He snuck in to watch the taping of Ben Affleck on Leno...just in case...
-He didn't want to change his appointment to clean and detail his framed AG degree.
One correction: Unlike Jellinek, Nick Gillespie has not taken potshots at Fox while on "Red Eye." So, it wasn't for all the same reasons.
Listening to Olbermann brag about being the #1 cable news program not on FNC.
Ed Schultz bragging about being the most listened to talk show host on progressive radio.
Yes I caught that Red Eye, and besides the pot shots at Fox his interrupting was the worse. He ate up some good Pinch time and you could tell Greg was getting annoyed he kept talking whenever he wanted too.
More reasons for not being on the air tonight:
- Hiding from Cheney death squad
- Hangover from getting drunk at Ed Schultz's place last night. Ed had to kick him out because he was being a real A-Hole.
- Had no where to sleep, his Mom's basement was flooded.
Even more possible reasons for not being on the air last night:
- He was too busy trying reach the treasurer of the "It Happened to Alexa Foundation" to ask for his check back.
- He bumped into O'Reilly and has yet to stop backing up
-He had a hot date with that Oriental chic, Terkel.

OMG!
I wonder if Obama's lead cheerleader will cover the devastating news from Europe this past week.....
"Barack Obama made an impassioned plea to America’s allies to send more troops to Afghanistan, warning that failure to do so would leave Europe vulnerable to more terrorist atrocities.
"But though he continued to dazzle Europeans on his debut international tour, the Continent’s leaders turned their backs on the US President"

So, again, broken promises....Obama and the rest of the radical left's ruling class promised us all that the world would now be our friends with Obama as President....They sure smiled nice in the pictures, and the Russian President was particularly happy with his comrade, Obama...but where it matters, defending freedom and liberty....nada.
Ah, the left must be so surprised that the one was unable to part the waters and keep simple mortal promises made on the campaign trail.
Just like the tax pledge, Obama is showing what a liar in chief he is becoming....Cynicism and CYA continues in Washington....CHANGE, indeed.
Will Keith Olbermann cover the issues? Doubtful.
VERO POSSUMUS!
