I don't care about Worst, but theatrical indignation and faux outrage reared their ugly head.

I should point out that I skimmed through the WPitW video with the sound muted.

Keiths hair-on-fire "Breaking News" was about as solid as a beer fart in a windstorm. The retired General(name escapes me) interview didn't go too well for Olby. The General was making sense, saying over and over that we shouldn't get bogged down on the torture issue-own it and move past it. Keith didn't hear a word the good man said. He kept asking the same inane question over and over, expecting the General to answer in the proper Countdown manner. You'd swear it was two people talking, independent of each other.

Hey KO 180 times for KLSM not enough for alll the pain he caused the familes on 9/11! Torture in my mind if having to make that last call to ones family telling them that they love them and knowing that will be the last time they talk to their familes because they know the plane they are on is going to crash! Torture is having to listen to that call on a phone machine and hoping it dosent get erased because that the last time you heard your husband/wives voice..THATS TORTURE KO! Torture is having to make the choice of jumping out of a 110 story high skyscrapper or buring to death? THATs TORUTURE!
Torture is having to watch on video as you watch your loved one get his head hacked by some nutcase and not being about to do anything about it...THATS TORTURE!
And all these people so WORRIED about what the rest of the world thinks of us, like Shep Smith over at FNC, well last time I checked someone really must have just loved us on 9/10 right before they borded those planes...

The man has finally gone over the top. He's just nuts. KO is just looking for any little scrap to go after the Bush adminstration, esp Cheney. I mean the man devoted over 30 minutes of his show tonight just to investigate something that frankly no one really wants to talk about.

The more I watched tonight's show, it became more apparent and crystal clear. KO is Capt. Ahab and the Bush Adminstration is his "white whale". He's bad and do anything...ANYTHING to get it.

I equate Countdown to The Jerry Springer Show. The Springer show used to be like all the other talk shows until their ratings started to sag so he became more outrageous to get higher ratings. KO is in desperation mode...he is looking at 4th and 25 from his own 10 yard line and instead of playing it smart and punting, he is deciding to throw a hail mary.

Once again, we see the truth take a back seat to the best spin by Democrats. NRO’s The Corner blog has an exclusive report on the supposed “180 waterboardings” that the US government conducted on terror suspects and it appears that the truth is a bit different than the spin.

You see, it seems that there weren’t “180 waterboardings” but were instead 180 “pours.” In other words, water was poured on the suspects 180 times. Further, the rules were quite specific. No more than two sessions could be conducted on any suspect within a 24 hour period and no more than 6 “pours” of water were allowed per session.

This means that instead of 180 sessions on the waterboard there was a much lower 30.

But, as Cliff May notes on The Corner blog, all the carefully crafted rules for how to conduct waterboard interrogations reveals a far different situation than the Torquemada-like, torture loving Bush administration that critics are trying to advance.

Also the above information came out Friday morning.

I know I keep saying I want the torture talk to stop, but I don't think I do. If the liberal media and the Democratic Party want to dig a bigger hole than be my guest. Nomorekeith has a point here about Olbermann. I wouldn't put it past the man to be a closet sadist. There was that Hillary Clinton back room remark last year, pretty much anything he ever said about Sarah Palin and now there's all this torture crap. He's a disgusting man, inside and out.

I took the extra step and watched WPitW with the sound on. Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann reduced the eeevil O'Reilly's sound reportage to a "conspiracy theory [Ding!]." Next, he skipped all the way to the last 30 seconds of Thursday's T-Points, which he read in that unfunny Ted Baxter voice. He even took the same pause on "we hope...it is not true." Then, what did Krazy Keith do? Why, he launched into a Krazy Konspiracy Theory--with Crooks & Liars' help, of course--about the eeevil Rupert Murdoch in 1995, the eeevil then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani ordering in 1996 that FNC be carried on Manhattan cable, and some other thing about the eeevil Murdoch in 2003. You don't justify bad behavior by pointing to supposed other bad behavior.
As usual, Edward R. Clustermann worked in his share of "Billo [Ding!]" slights.

Being Waterboarded must suck

Last year he was a Yankee fan, but since he now has the MLB gig and all this free swag and free tickets. Who knows? When he's out in LA he will probably be an Angels & Dodgers fan.

Same will be true if he ends up in Chicago.

The reason he brings Katy to every game is so she can help him with the blog later.

Speaking of the blog. I've seen some not so kindly comments left there. so, it seems at the early going they are letting thoughts be free.
If it stays that way, this could be fun.

It's time for the Fox Haters Week in Review featuring Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann and Janeane "The Wizard" Garofalo. ("The Wizard" is a reference to Keith's attack on Bernie Goldberg's list of five of the worst people or media outlets on the far-left.)

Thanks MikeC....I highly recommend Johnny Dollar's excellent summary of the lies spoken by Olbermann regarding his interview with Garofalo and the distraction he employs using the GE meeting.

Not only does Olbermann spew hate about his ideological opponents, he obviously holds his supportive audience in contempt. He must think his audience is stupid as he suggests Garofalo was only suggesting some of the tea party participants were racist rednecks....Check the quote, show the body language of the woman and see it was not the case. Olbermann lied, pure and simple.

So, I suppose it will be on to the next political hate crusade for Olbermann and his fellow travelers....

Will it be the continued hypocrisy and demogoguery over "TORTURE!"?

Will it be the continued propaganda of "THE PARTY OF NO!"?

Will it be the adolescent silliness of "TEABAGGERS, ha, uh, ha, uh, ha, uh....they're teabagging!"?

Will it be something new like the political implications over the swine flu and how the right is cynically using it against the one?
