I thought it was hilarious! KO for the first half-hour was just quivering in his voice. It appeared as if he was just unable to talk. I just watched the re-run of KO's little show and the Garofalo segment. I have to admit, I have NEVER seen such a disgusting, disgraceful display in my life. The HATE this "woman" spews just blew me away. Stereotyping the protesters as "rednecks" and "racists". I did some research of sterotyping as found this:

On another subject....Olbermann's SPECIAL COMMENT. Oy. I watched it live last night.

I believe the tone and style to be much different than many of the other commentaries. I have not watched them recently, (and I do not want to watch the archived videos at the MSNBC website out of concern for my blood pressure), but I recall only one with the same performance style.....his commentary on Prop 8.

So, I think we have two approaches here....The subdued, puppy-dog eyed, "awwww shucks, how could you Barry?" Olbermann and the Bealesque, camera-man-in-a-poncho, "SHUT----THE----HELL----UP...FASCIST...RESIGN!" Olbermann. It will be fun to predict which actor shows up based on the topic and/or target, but I think we'll continue to only see the later with Olbermann's ideological elite in power.

The content of the SPECIAL COMMENT was predictable and sad. Surprisingly, the excuses were few, but the dire predictions concerning the impact President Obama's actions will have, with simplistic historical interpretation sprinkled throughout, left me wondering just how valuable that diploma from Cornell is....you know the one he brought out from under his anchor desk several weeks ago.

In regards to Obama's actions regarding interrogation, I am worried about much different things, real things that mean life and death to me, my family, my community. Olbermann's ivory tower worries about the future are the stuff of fantasy. I also believe Obama's actions say a lot about the man himself. His rhetoric as a Senator, candidate and President varies so much and he has no shame in being hypocritical. Most importantly, Obama has now diminished our country's security. My rebuttal to Olbermann and the radical left regarding all of this silliness over torture and accountability is found in a very good editorial in today's WSJ.....

Yesterday, the shows host interviewed actress Jeanine Garafolo about republicans (46% of the population and 46% of consumers.) Ms. Garafolo stated, "their synapses are misfiring. ... Hey cjflan32, We are not kooks but die hard Americans who love this country and are tired of it being trashed by left wing lunatics like Olbermann and Garafolo. To answer some of the questions from above..... YES, we can get these sponsor lists to other sites and explain what our purpose is. Next, I am going to ask here if j$p could put up our info over on his site and at the same time request that Robert Cox set up a window box here on the left hand side of the screen for our info in regards to these sponsors etc.
People please listen, the current tea parties were started by a few (15) people (kooks). Look at where it has gone in a matter of weeks. If WE use the same approach as what they have, we win. Our goal is to use the power of word and email to get to these people that have taken the time to go and listen and speak at these tea parties. I have done my homework on this issue, now it is up to all of you to help out and come through. Don't just say, just DO IT. I look forward to hearing from all of you and your responses.

What do you think of my idea of only focusing a few (two or three) Countdown sponsors? That way, there is absolutly no excuse for stepping up against this disgraceful man. The three I went after today were:

-- John Deere
-- Applebees
-- Campbells Soup Company

Yes, we can focus on the sponsors that only attract ALL of the viewers. But let's not just limit ourselves to just 2 or 3 sponsors, we need to let as many as possible know that they are sponsoring a show that should not be in their agenda. I personally sent an email to the UPS Store and got a lengthy response when I told them that on a daily basis, I spend $200 using FEDEX now.

Keep up the good work everyone, this is going to work. Remember to send out the lists of sponsors to all of your friends and explain to them to send out to their friends. We are watching this thing grow on an hourly basis.

My point was how are we going to get the word out because the few regulars on Olbermann Watch can't do it alone.

I sent out e-mails to some of those places with no response. I think SoCal has the right approach. I too spend my money at other places and if we tell those sponsors that they might start to reconsider.

Well I think I emailed to everybody on that list, and with each sponser I detailed as many of his lies and mistruths as I could along with the reasons why I would definitely not buy their products or use their services if they continued to advertise on his program. It took me a long time to do, but the feeling that my emails may help to put an end to this sociopath told me it was all worth it.

There were so MANY horrible lies and anti-American slants told by the ape ruler, that if I had noted every one of them to each advertiser I may not have finished until sometime next year, but even so it took me close to 4 hours to do.

I do, however, agree with cjflan32 to a point, because even on this same site there are people on it who claim to think he is disgusting and vile, but at the same time said they do not want to see him taken off the air. With this mentality it would seem rather difficult to accomplish anything worthwhile, but I'd feel less than an American to not even try.

Good job SoCal, and I share your frustration over this hateful "human being," but maybe something good will come out of it after all is said and done.

The voicing of the specific issue of Olbermann's endorcement of the calling of his fellow Americans racist rednecks I believe will get most of the advertisers on that list reviewing their advertising decisions....That's the tact I am taking.

Advertisers do not want to hear about partisanship, politics, etc....It is insulting the potential customer with baseless accusations that scares them and if people point attention to the hate speech that occurred Thursday night from a regular contributor, Ms. Garofalo....well....hope springs eternal.
