Jesse Ventura went off script and insisted on blaming Congressional Democrats for allowing torture, Olbermanns response was pure and instant. He didn't acknowledge, question, grunt, groan, or follow-up. He just "pretended" Ventura didn't say it. Simple as that. It's not the first time I've seen Olbermann tune out a dissenting view from a guest. It really is something to behold.

I went back and watched both the Christopher Hitchens and CurrentTV waterboardings and I have no doubt that while not staged, Mancow was most definitely half-ass waterboarded. I read your comment and had to put myself through the pain of watching the Ventura segment. Ventura basically said BOTH parties knew about water boarding and did nothing to stop. And what does Obly do after Ventura makes this blasphemous comment about KO's beloved Democratic party? Nothing...moves right on to the next question. This just proves one of three things (probably all three):

1) He cannot have an intelligent debate with anyone and must stick to the script or his teleprompter.

2) He doesn't listen to anything his guest say.

3) He is so afraid of confrontation that he will let his guests make any statement they want (Garofalo) no matter how untruthful it is because he needs to be liked by everyone.

Hello all, I had an idea while driving home from a business meeting in Maryland yesterday. I was wondering what kind of softball bullshit the media would throw at a guy like Keith Olbermann if ever interviewed by any else, of stature, in the media. Not that it will ever happen, but I wanted to make sure that if anyone ever does, maybe they'll see what happens here, or others, and can use substantiated questions, that he needs to answer. God, Skeeberman has some set on him, doesnt he? He actually has the nerve to say that the torture debate can be ended by having a radio shock jock be waterboarded (only for about 6 seconds and the guy missed his mouth with the pitcher from seconds 4 to 6).\

One more little Muller history lesson. Back in the early 90's, Q104.3 in NYC (I believe they play classic rock now, but were more of a metal/hard rock station back then.) tried Muller's simulcast out for a week in it's morning slot to replace the morning show, and go up against Howard down on 92.3.

He didn't even last a week. (3 days!) (and as of today, still not heard in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut!!!! What was FNC thinking???)

New Yorkers really saw through fast, his awful schtick.

As I said in last night the Wednesday thread (Thursday night in the Wednesday thread), Drew Peterson recently made a collect call to Mancow's radio show and made jokes while claiming supposed innocence. This was one of the topics in last night's Kelly File segment on "The O'Reilly Factor." Neither Bill nor Megyn made fun of Mancow, instead focusing on Peterson. They did acknowledge that Mancow has appeared many times on FNC.
So will Billo [Ding!] come up tonight? Will they mock him and attack him in addition to Gawker and lunatic fringers [Ding!] like us? We'll see.
