I just puked in my mouth a little.
No, I lie, I JUST PUKED IN MY MOUTH A LOT!!!!!
Goebells-Olbermann just critisized Limbaugh for getting a "bloated contract" while at the same time, his syndicator was forced to lay off some of their workers.
To see the hypocricy of this statement, click open these two links:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely you Olbermann fans can see that KO thinks you guys are a bunch of idiots. Why else would he make such a stupid statement?
Ya but if it was not for Rush, how many more people would have lost their jobs? How many jobs has Rush created through his show? Hmmmm..
How many poeple got fired at Err America??? Ok no one actually worked there..but..
And the four eyed punked Robinson, hey Eugene how is your Newspaper doing these day? Hmmmmmmmm
Doesn't U-genie-out-of-the-bottle look just grand in his "Chris Hayes" designer glasses? THE TOYS A PULITZER WILL BUY!!
#5A: Video title: "Cheney defending the little guy?" Torture! [Ding!] The Pundit for All Occasions dropped by.
#5B: Video title: "Limbaugh hurting the GOP." Geno Robinson (I call him Geno even though he's Eugene) played patty cake.
#4: Video title: "Bolton attacks Obama on torture [Ding!]." The disbarred lawyer John Dean was the guest.
Oddball and BPitW: Irrelevant, but both Keith and his Olbsession ran a PSA on conservation featuring Prince Charles and Kermit the Frog. Keith mocked the ad in Oddball ("ribbit"), while Bill made the Prince and Kermit Patriots in tonight's Pinheads & Patriots segment. (The Pinhead was a 17-year-old girl that was profanely rude to a 911 operator.)
#3: Video title: "Specter - once a Republican, always a Republican?" Former Clinton guy Joe Lockhart joined Keith in whining about Specter not towing the Democratic line.
#2: The Media Matters Minute. Worse was Karl Rove. Blue blog source: Think Propaganda. Team Turkel's material was taken from last night's Top Story segment on "The O'Reilly Factor." Per usual, Oralmann chose reading a parsed transcript over showing the video, all while doing a mock impression. Then, he hit Rove over the head with Harriet Miers [Ding!]. "Harriet Miers! [Ding!]"
Worser was Another O'Reilly Attack. Blue blog source: The Fightin' Brodskys (Newshounds). Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann is always up to bat for Ellen and her poodle pals (who hate my guts, I might add). The attack came from last night's Talking Points Memo. The Memo (transcript) was about how Bill thinks the Republican Party can make a comeback. But Keith and the Hounds went after this part:
"...
The Republicans are also missing the one huge opportunity the Democrats are giving them. The loudest voices for the Dems are far-left loons who believe America is a flawed nation.
Here's a good example. The other day, a birthday party concert was held for left-wing singer Pete Seeger, who is 90 years old. Bruce Springsteen among others performed at the concert and then he popped off as he often does:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BRUCE SPRINSTEEN, SINGER: At 90, he remains a stealth dagger through the heart of our country's illusions. He sings all the verses, all the time — especially the ones that we'd like to leave out of our history as people.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
*That's right, Bruce. We all have false illusions that America is a noble nation, a country that has freed billions of people all over the world at great cost.* A country that provides so much opportunity to the poor, that more than 20 million folks have illegally entered the USA.
Do you get that, Bruce? Why don't you take a look at your mansion, nice car, expensive comforts and get a little perspective. You're a working-class guy, right, Bruce? Capitalism combined with your talent has made you a wealthy guy. It would not have happened in Venezuela.
*Now, Bruce Springsteen is not exactly a PhD in political science, but his snide reference to America defines how the far left sees this country. And do you know what? Most liberal and conservative Americans disagree with him!*
So let me spell this out so that even the Republican leadership can understand it. Get solutions to problems, explain your culture war positions clearly and without spite, and most importantly, stick up for America, because the Democrats are certainly not doing that. Use that strategy, GOP, and you'll get back in the game.
And that's "The Memo.""
Herr Olbermoronn jumbled Springsteen's quote and parsed O'Reilly in his Ted Baxter voice, reading only what I indicated with the asterisks. Are you shocked? After asking for polls to back up what Bill said about most Americans disagreeing with Bruce and mocking Bill as "Bill O'Reilly, supergenius," he quoted Bill in Monday's Reality Check segment saying "[Jack] Bauer reminds me of me" following a clip where Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) berated Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo). As I knew he would (and I'm sure J$ had a feeling, too), Keith replied with a grin and laughs from his staff: "Yeah, you're-you're both one-dimensional fictional characters." Then, Keith Olbermann, supergenius, said he and the far-left are noble, too, and can't act like bad things didn't happen or "our stink doesn't stink" (ooh, gangsta style)...or something. Keith claimed that Billo [Ding!] implied that he has a Ph.D. in Political Science. Another Olbermann Lie. Peabody Award! [Ding!]
After all that, Worst was Rupert Murdoch. Ha-ha, profits are down, ha-ha. Yada yada yada. I am done. Back to you, Greg.
J O E L O C K H A R T ?!?! WTF??? Now THAT"S what I call torture!!
Oh, and #1: The debut of Double-Crossing Dylan Ratigan. I'm sure he had fun bashing Bristol Palin with Misogynist Olbermann.
It's taken me months to finally register here - now don't lookit ME: the register software(s) used here are pretty much a convoluted nightmare.
Unfortunately, now that I finally CAN give voice to my utter loathing of KO and co (I'm no fan of Fox News either, but MSNBC is much much worse - the skid marks on the BVDs of journalism)....I've reached my limit with the toxic sewage Olbermann dumps on America nightly. I CANNOT endure this man (nor the network that pays him, no matter how much they try and distanbce themselves with an "MS" prefix) even one more night. Tonight's surf'n'turf of smegma and smugness was it for me.
Sorry, folks - I like this place, a lot. But life is too damn short for this kind of dumpster-diving. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder if MSNBC's ratings wouldn't drop by half if everybody who watches it purely to be appalled were to break the habit. Turner Classic Movies, take me away!
And the main point of that "Factor" segment with Rove, as you'll see in the video, was that Bill and Karl disagreed on how the Republicans can make their comeback.
Dylan Ratigan goes down a notch
His "business career" was a botch
He's NBC's tool
Joined Kountdown's cesspool
Now he's sniffing Olbermahn's crotch
Whether you stay or not, lragno, welcome aboard. I'm curious, what don't you like about FNC? Anyone else here have a problem with FNC or BOR? I'll admit that I'm one of the biggest fans and supporters of both.
Legal expert is felon John Dean
Practicing law he won't be seen
The disbarred attorney
And his prison journey
Can't get Olby off his tax lien
I started watching FNC in 2001 after I personally discovered the media was bias. Before than I never knew FNC existed. Then a couple years later the hate for FNC started which was and still is loony. Heaven forbid the Right gets a voice on any channel.
I've been watching FNC so long I know who's left and who's right on there. And BOR took some time for me to like, I don't agree with everything he believes, but as a talking head he's one of the best to tell it down the middle as well as offer his opinions as opinions, not try to pass it off as news like KO does.
Thing is I thought the other channels were bias back in 2000, that was nothing compared to what they are today. CNN and MSNBC are just a joke now, and FNC is still the same. And not only is FNC still #1, but compared to the numbers the other channels are getting they're absolutely destroying them both combined.
Plus lets not forget, FNC has the best looking female anchors. And I know a handsome man when I see them too.
One thing I didn't notice when I was recapping. This was Keith "I am not politically biased" Olbermann "telling" O'Reilly what the far-left vision is. What happened to not being quote [Ding!], "politically biased"?
Thanks for your input, Lafinman. :)
Anyone else here have a problem with FNC or BOR? I'll admit that I'm one of the biggest fans and supporters of both....MikeC
As you know Mike I'm a big fan of FNC, and like Lafinman started watching them around the same time too in 2000, and I think that probably the biggest reason they are killing all the other networks is not because they're so much about being a conservative newscast, but because they tell the news like it has always been told: down the middle.
It probably reminds people of what the news used to be like where there wasn't any bias, and if there was at least there was some other viewpoint to counter the bias. "Fair and Balanced" may be their moniker, but it's a shame that they have to use it at all, as EVERY network should be fair and balanced just for starters anyway. Not so unfortunately.
Today people don't seem to care about hearing the news, as it's more important to them how "over the top" it is. Truth? Who needs it, as long as their favorite journalist slams another network, or fawns over the politician they agree with. MSNBC of course, is as far away from a "news" station as the cartoon network is. Lies, slants, bias, prejudice's, you name it, and it has sunk as far from giving the news as the weather channel is in giving you sports updates.
In this time and day, sadly I might add, it is much more important to some of the viewers to see a variation of the Jerry Springer show with a touch of Oprah thrown in for good measure: from Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper asking leading questions to make sure they get the emotional answers that agrees with their stations biases, to our "favorite"...olbermann...twisting and changing all and everything that pertains to the news making sure ONLY that it is controversial enough to get a reaction from his viewers while at the same time disregarding anything that may be even remotely accurate about his reports. And, of course...which the ape ruler is the master of...make sure you put as much emphasis on the EMOTIONAL PAIN it is causing you while you are delivering it.
Yeah, Fox News for the honest viewer will always be number 1, as most people want to hear the news, and not be lied to while watching it. MSNBC has gone full throttle to shock and create as much controversy as they can looking for the viewers who only want to see an updated version of the Springer show. Ed, Matthews (who has changed by the way, as he used to be pretty fair while reporting or on his viewpoints), olbermann, maddow et.al, are the wrost most unprofessional group of journalists we may ever see on one network at the same time, and for some reason because Fox tells it the way they see it some people don't like it that way or are too cynical to believe it as they've been force fed such crap for so long from todays liberal slants that they don't know how to react to it.
A simplistic approach to watching the news I've always used while debating this issue with others is this: in the old days when somebody talked about what was the best station doing the news was like debating how many different ways you could come up with 2 plus 2 equals 4. Some would say 4 minus 2 equals 2 and therefore 2 plus 2 equals 4. Use oranges and apples for your examples but the answer would always remain the same, and it was just on how the delivery in this explanation was used in what caused you to say which one you liked better. Now, however, it is no longer about the correct answer, as MSNBC will tell you that 2 plus 2 equals 5, AND they will say it with so MUCH EMOTION that because this nation is filled with idiots and bleeding hearts, they believe it must be true because MSNBC said it with such "fire and determination" along with a few "tears" thrown in for good measure.
I mean when a "journalist" goes on a 10 minute rant saying that McCain...an American hero who was held prisoner for over 5 years in a Viet Nam prison...is doing as much for terrorism as the terrorists were simply because he *warned* that America will always be under the risk of further terrorists attacks, it told me all I needed to know about what the news programs were after, and it had NOTHING to do with stating the truth. It was trying to tell me that 2 plus 2 equals 5.
Fox News isn't liked by some ONLY because of the personalities they have, like it should be and like the debates were like in the old days, but when you are comparing them with the new alternative newscasters, ones that lie, slant and do everything in their power to NOT tell the news as it is, AND with all the phony emotion added to their lies, it makes me wonder WHY anyone would watch anything else but Fox. Then again, I never liked Springer or any of the sorry ass shows like him, so what do I know?
Last night (this morning) on Red Eye, a guest of Greg's had a new name for Olby.
Keith Olbermienkamph. Don't know if it's proper or not.
The guy was a former CIA officer.
In a word, PATHETIC.....MSNBC's ratings for Monday.....
COUNTDOWN third in the demo, barely second in total viewers (yes it was Robin, but hey, what's the diff?)
Even worse....poor ol' Maddow....third in total viewers behind the sub from THE VIEW on LKL....And under a million viewers, once again.
Ooo, and COUNTDOWN was also under 1 mill as well. O'Reilly?...nearly 3 million total viewers.
It is amazing that advertisers waste their money on MSNBC.
To be fair O'Reilly's numbers are down also. I think he's getting a little stale. He's laid off Barney Frank a little but his crusade against MSNBC is old. We know their pond scum, move on.
Will Olbermann cover this blatent example of hypocrisy tonight on COUNTDOWN?.....
"Now, Senator McCain talks a lot about earmarks, that's one of the centerpieces of his campaign. Earmarks account for 0.5 percent of the total federal budget. There's no doubt that the system needs reform and there are a lot of screwy things that we end up spending money on, and they need to be eliminated. But it's not going to solve the problem." Candidate Obama, 2008
"The total amount of earmarks even broadly defined comes to about $18 billion. Now, I'm not a math whiz, but if you're giving $300 billion in tax breaks, and lets say you eliminated all earmarks ... even assuming all $18 billion is delivered, you've still got to, let's see my math, $282 billion short and he hasn't specified where else he'd get the money. And what's likely is that he'd get the money the same way that George Bush got the money, which is to take out a credit card from the bank of China in the name of our kids and add a few extra trillion dollars extra worth of national debt." Candidate Obama, 2008
"It is important, though, for all of you as you're writing up these stories to recognize that $17 billion taken out of our discretionary non-defense budget, as well as portions of our defense budget, are significant — they mean something." President Obama, today
###
Sure, ok...When one makes jokes about one man's 17 billion dollars in "savings," only to come back around and claim that what is being cut now is not a joke when it is still only 1/2 of 1% of what is about to be spent.....that would that be called?....help me here.....
Oh, yeah.....
HYPOCRISY.
That plus driving up the deficit WAAAAAY higher than any republican ever did....including the evil guy that was just replaced. The candidate said that was wrong...now as President, not so wrong......
Oh well....MikeHypocrite used to be on this blog criticizing Bush and the republicans for cutting taxes, fighting wars and driving up the debt.....The hypocrite seems to remain silent now that Obama is doing the same thing....only 5x more than Bush did.
And I am sure MikeHypocrite's fellow traveler, Keith Olbermann, will do the same tonight.
It seems rather funny....If it wasn't destroying our country.
VERO POSSUMUS!
too bad, cee, that the congregation of the Messiah won't realize that hypocrisy.
Excellent post, Wolverine.
I have some links I'd like to share with you all:
Monday's Ratings: Cee talked about this earlier. Tuesday's and Wednesday's ratings should be released later today.
Double-Crossing Dylan's "Countdown" debut: He had an opinion on Bristol Palin, Republicans, conservatives, and he'll have a mid-morning news-and-likely-opinion show up against "America's Newsroom." Worst of luck, sir.
Jeff Poor's account of the Dylan debut at NewsBusters: Poor expands on what Steve Krakauer reported in the above TVNewser link.
Bill O'Reilly's weekly column: "The Destruction of Miss California": Olby and Musto are indirectly referred to. This *may* lead to an attack from Keith, but we'll see what happens. It lies on whether or not a blue blog "reports" on it.
If you watch the video, you get a fiery Dylan, a gleeful doctrinaire Keith, and Keith's typical sycophantic grunts of affirmed agreement and laughter. Dennis Miller said last year that Mike Gilbert, the guy that claims he helped O.J. get away with murder, has a case of "sycophantis assininis." I think that describes Supergeniusmann to a "T."
In BOR's column it makes the point that even though people are against gays getting married (at about 90/10 against) they are quick to hop on the bandwaggon to attack Prejean because then it makes them look good. In other words vote against something you don't believe in, but then join in attacking someone else who agrees with you. Et tu Judas? When the cock crows 3 times one of you will denounce me. WTF?!
It's the modern day hype to be hip. Common sense has left the planet years ago, and has been replaced by the absurd, the insane and the remnants of a Bizzarro world are now in control.
Back to you Gracie...
I just saw Tuesday's numbers at tvbythenumber and while KO climbed back over a million, it looks like Madcow's really dying.
The scary thing is that if you listen to Miss California's answer, she never says she opposes gay marriage. She says we live in a country where you can choose, but that she personally sees marriage as between a man and a woman.
The vitriol she received over an answer to a question that should never have been asked, buy a man who never should have been a judge, is unacceptable.
Even if she says she doesn't care if gays get married, it's not enough for them. They just don't want the right. They want everyone to wholeheartedly give it to them.
See, Obama doesn't support gay marriage, either. But to them, Obama really wants gay marriage, he just can't say it. So it's OK. His heart is with them.
It's like a line from Star Trek Deep Space Nine a few years ago. "It's not enough that we beat them. We have to make them believe it was wrong for them to oppose us in the first place."
This is not a position of tolerance
Click here for those numbers. It was a demo blowout, too. Phil Griffin told John Gibson "goin' left was the right thing to do." Really?
I reviewed the last two COUNTDOWN transcripts and found no mention of the deaths of Afghan civilians that are being blamed on American air-raids....
Typical muted mongrels now that Presdient Obama is the commander-in-chief.....I wonder what would have been with a President McCain or President Bush. The numbers and pictures would have been surely part of the COUNTDOWN nightly celebration.
But now, finally, some stinging political satire of President Obama. The following is much like we used to get daily in our papers prior to January.....
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/05/07/karma-happens-mr-president/
###
The President's propagandist on MSNBC will likely overlook this perspective in his "information" hour and instead choose to update his cool, affluent, hip and young audience on the misadventures of Bristol Palin, Miss California, Michelle Bachmann, Meghan McCain, Rush Limbaugh and of course......the upcoming torture prosecutions.
Oh well....what about that world opinion? I thought Obama Co. was going to make them love us again.
The HotAir author makes a good point that Senator Obama sure was confident he could do a much better job in managing the war on terror....of course speaking from his great wealth of experience......
"Now you have narco drug lords who are helping to finance the Taliban, so we’ve got to get the job done there, and that requires us to have enough troops that we are not just air raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there,"
###
Ah, anti-America sentiment sure is less stinging when someone else is making the decisions but that will be lost on radicals like Olbermann. In his elite Manhattan sphere, the civilian deaths simply didn't happen and President Obama. Good journalism.
I REALLY like Obama in the flight suit.....I am sure we will see it again and again.
Once again, where's MikeHypocrite to defend the indefensable?
VERO POSSUMUS!
Cee, please e-mail me.
Olbermann attacking Rupert Murdoch for sagging profits? LOL. That's like a man in a sinking row boat laughing at oceanliner for having barnicals.
Finally, I've been trying to successfully post on this site for far too long. I've eagerly been awaiting the opportunity to get in on the discussion. I don't watch Keith's show, and one promise to you, is that I never will, at least in the prime time.
Thanks for having me, this "journalist"'s time is coming, and I shall rejoice, oh shall I rejoice.
Welcome aboard, Ryder.
Wednesday's ratings are out. Supergeniusmann got pounded at 8PM and 10PM. Good.
As for the topic of Keith's WPitW attacks, here are relevant viewer e-mails from Wednesday's "O'Reilly Factor":
Joe Morris, Palm Bay, FL: "Bill, great job speaking directly to Bruce Springsteen. Please tell him both political parties are not looking out for us regular joes."
Christine Leeds-Armstrong, Pitman, NJ: "Bill, please tell Bruce, a native of Freehold, New Jersey, that he was born in the USA and should not knock it."
John Santa Maria, Rio Vista, CA: "While Springsteen was out celebrating the 90th birthday of Pete Seeger, my father-in-law also celebrated his 90th. He served under Patton and a number of people turned out to thank him for it."
Bill's response: "Well, please tell him happy birthday for me, John."
David Swim, San Diego, CA: "Bill, it blows my mind that Karl Rove doesn't get your point that Republicans need to challenge the left on anti-American statments."
Brandon Viamonte, Chicago, IL: "Bill, when Karl Rove gives a strategy session, listen, don't talk."
Other relevant e-mails:
Debbie Livingston, Mechanicsville, VA: "I look at the way Miss California is being treated and think: Why isn't this a hate crime?"
David Parker, Woodbury, MN: "Thousands of Americans are openly supporting Carrie Prejean on Facebook."
[MC editorial: I just became a fan myself.]
On the subject of the double-crosser and the sycophant and whom they bashed, Bristol Palin and her mother also came up in Wednesday's Impact segment with Dick Morris, in Policing the 'Net (no video available), and in Miller Time.
Watch and enjoy.
Debbie in Virginia hit the nail on the head with her statement about Carrie Prejean. Again, like in many situations with minorities in this country, they are excluded from racism, ethnocentrism and apparently being hateful in any regard...
Good point, Ryder. The whole mess with Prejean is frustrating to me because it's only going to end badly, at least from a pageant standpoint. I just know she's going to lose her title and this politically correct progressive (I assume) Tami Farrell is going to take her place. Last night on "Red Eye," Kimberly Guilfoyle said in the Halftime Report that Prejean was getting heat from some Christians for that topless photo shoot. Hearing that bit of news, whether true or not, adds to my frustration. Not only will this Farrell woman come out a winner, but so will Oralmann, Musto, Perez Hilton, etc.
It seems the CIA is now in CYA mode, leaking out proof that Democrats were fully aware of what they were doing to get information from terrorist suspects....and why.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEUmTBd9rA8
###
Will Olbermann cover this explosive information regarding the left's political class?
Will Olbermann look into these over 40 MEMOS regarding what Pelosi et al knew and when did they know it? Is there time for a SPECIAL COMMENT requesting they be investigated for being party to war crimes!
OH MY, OUR DEMOCRACY DEMANDS IT MR. OLBERMANN!
IT WAS TORTURE!
"RESIGN!"
Miller Time...He was hilarious as usual and his "Newty and the Beauty" Rep. ticket proposal made my day. There's nobody better than Miller. Lately Bill has finally learned to take a backseat to Miller, because nobody can stay with him anyway, so it's best to just let him fly.
And Cee, about the Democrats knowing about the procedures to get info out of the terrorist suspects...they only knew about it before they knew it was unpopular, and then they didn't know about it when their man got into the White House. Of course the ape ruler would never mention this or the other 1000 facts you've called him out on, as his hypocrisy has no bounds.
Keep up the good work, and I predict by the end of the year you'll have caught him in another 1000 lies and mistruths. An easier assignment you've never had I'm sure.
