I know it's been mentioned before, but where the hell does Jimmy Legs get his pronunciation of "Abu Ghraib" from?
Viewer e-mails from tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor":
Donna Mace, Vale, NC: "What Janeane Garofalo needs to understand is that far more people care about what O'Reilly has to say than care about what she has to say. The Factor ratings and Bill's book sales prove it."
Bill's response: "Well, I appreciate that, Donna. And, you know, don't be confusing Garofalo and her folks with the facts, though. That's unfair, you know? We don't want to...hit them with facts."
Randy Good, Newton, NC: "Bill, you should send Janeane a copy of 'Bold Fresh.'"
Bill's response: "You know, I think she's fresh enough already, Randy. Don't you?"
Eric Bolling replied further to the discredited baseball card collector on "Happy Hour" on FBN. KO comes up at the 1:09 mark.
Meanwhile on "The Factor," tonight's Talking Points Memo was about the Politics of Ridicule. The conversation continued in the Top Story segment (no video up at FOXNews.com) with MSNBC contributor Michael Smerconish (who was likely able to appear on FNC because of his new book, "Morning Drive") and our friend John Gibson. The discussion extended further into the Personal Story segment with Bernie Goldberg. Bernie and Bill also talked about Ted Koppel coming out of the liberal closet (my phrase) (re: waterboarding) as a commentator on BBC World News.
Ousted Miss Nevada USA 2007 Katie Rees was the guest in the Factor Follow Up segment. Rees was miffed that Carrie Prejean was able to remain Miss California USA despite the provocative pictures while she lost her crown for the drunk photos. Rees is a different person these days, as she says in the interview.
In the Impact segment, Bill got Dick Morris' take on whether or not there is still tension between President Obama and Sec. of State Clinton, the President's decision not to release though detainee photos, and Dick Cheney actually winning the PR battle.
Keep T-Points, Personal Story, and Impact in mind because they could be used against Bill, Bernie, and Dick. We'll see.
Do Keith and his guests all go to the same eyeglass store?
Maybe LeftCrafters?
he thinks the abu grahib pronunciation makes him sound intellectual. its the same reason hes growing out his hair and wearing 3 piece suits. he tried the dark rim glasses once b/c someone told him his glasses looked like palins, but that didnt work out.
I have to say, its getting harder and harder to even watch keith just to hate him. its just horrible now.
Since I only caught part of the Palin book segment, I'll be watching it in full later at MSNBC and report back with a few quote gems, but it was rich. Keithee feigned indignation and was truly asinine.
And his second WTF segment was as bad as his first. I might give that a watch in full too.
This show is in serious trouble.
Has anyone notice that for past two days KO stumbling over words? Me thinks his decline is on his feeble mind.
Pretty sad when Keith has to resort to copying Chris Mathews un-watchable show and attack Sarah Palin AGAIN!! We interupt the news to attach Carrie Prejean again. Oh, and guess who lost their job on 24? Looks like she will be back at Star Bucks giving dirty looks again.
the was keith says "boys" now makes me question his sexuality.
The Troll is losing her job? OH GOD, LET JACK KILL HER!!! Or better yet, let Chloe kill her!
Are we sure we're recapping a "new" show. Sounds almost like a CD from a few months ago. And since his show is the same every time and MSNBC likes to show reruns on the weekends, why don't they save themselves the 7 million a year and replay old CD's instead of throwing money at him. Chances are more kids will tune in to a thinner, younger, and not orange fellow.
Or you know, they could get actual talent on MSNBC....lol who we kidding.
Or maybe they'll tune in to an older, taller No Spin guy. :)
What is wonderful is that with each passing day, Keith and Company become more irrelevant while Olbermann Watch becomes more relevant.
So, in regards to the clip above, let me get this straight.....
Keith Olbermann is fine with sexual jokes directed at common folk participating in democracy (over, and over and over and over and over, and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, BTW), or sexual jokes directed at a woman who is a beauty pageant contestant (for over a week now and as a central theme to rebutting her opinion), but he becomes indignant with a passing sexual joke directed at a US congressman.
Double hypocrisy (displaying hypocrisy while charging hypocrisy), if there is such a thing. And let us remember, part of Olbermann's self-defined superiority is he and his MSNBC co-hosts are better in EVERYTHING in comparison to FNC/FBC hosts....
better human beings
more intelligent
more tolerant
true journalists
have integrity
etc.
So, Keith Olbermann admitted he is no better than the FNC/FBC hosts while showing another example of hypocrisy: it is ok to joke about heterosexuals (even misogynistic humor) but not homosexuals.
Ok. I am good with that...another example of Olbyocrisy (sp?)
The "Still Bushed" segment last night was a perfect example of just how these liberals operate and misuse information. I know I'm not the only one who catches these out right ignorant comments, but I like to make sure that if anyone wasn't watching, they see what it is that pisses me off about this guy more than anything in the world.
His "Water-Gate" scandal, made a few references to Soldiers, a few of hundreds of thousands, citing examples of running out of water, in a desert. Anyone with any sort of intelligent thought would know, that these things happen, not only in a time of war, but also, in the middle of the f*cking desert.
What does Keith have to say about a few isolated stories from the war about water shortages?
"President Bush sent troops to the desert, without any water."
He references this as a point, we should attribute to Bush's legacy.
It's no wonder he never has anyone debate him on his show, a fourth grader could call him out on these shallow and baseless statements. What is striking, is that he continues to get away with it, each and every day, and nobody, but us, seem to say anything about it. This is every other sentence for Keith, and its garbage...
Carrie Prejean, George Bush, and Dick
Constant bashing made viewers sick
So they've all gone to Fox
And the sniffer of jock's
Nielsen ratings resemble a brick
As deaf as Keith Olberamann is to a differing opinion, even he knows that there is quite a difference in one dirty joke on CNBC, as compared with the days long avalanche of filthy double entendre about the Tea Party protests at MSNBC. (David Shuster's half hour shtik alone would have made Larry Flynt crave a shower. He is CREEPY!)
Olbermann just doesn't give a rip. He knows the channel will never be held accountable for this offensive strategy of puerile ridicule, by anyone who matters in the field of journalism.
He's in an industry that now cares more about protecting the President, who they view as some sort of historic (and most importantly progressive) national emblem, than it does about the compromises that are required in doing that.
In fact industry members welcome the compromises, and welcome being counted as pro-Administration, because it signifies their moral bona fides to a righteous cause!
During his Palin book deal segment, KO states he's "fascinated" with Palin keeping personal journals. Then he observes that she's been under some investigations, so then he concludes that such journals are "dangerous"! The guest agrees, but neither other these 2 simpletons actually know a damn thing about the contents of said journals. Keithee....if they were "dangerous" Palin wouldn't have even mentioned them. What an ass!!!!
These 2 dodo-heads then jump to Rupert Murdoch bemoaning how he has "too many media outlets" He worries that Murdoch can "move seemlessly from Palin the book, to Palin the VP candidate to Palin Presidential candidate"; to which the guest starts off with a quote of "the best President money can buy".
Hmmmm. Two reactions here. First, this statement shows that KO & the Left do worry about Palin as a presidential candiate thus the need for the non-stop attacks. Secondly, I believe George Soros bought the current "best presedident"
I commented earlier on this recap that the "WTF!?!" segment was pretty bad. Just a lot of playing around with the Republican term "Democrat Socialist Party". But before he went into that, he played clips of Republicans saying the phrase "the Democratic Party" and proudly states that all those clips occurred since his birthday this year.
WTF?
Keithee ..... is your ego so big that you had to mention your birthday?
It was on FBN, Cece.
$10 KO will defend Pelosi tonight and expose more of the lying CIA and their tactics to trick everyone.
I don't think he will defend Pelosi. I think he focus his attention on Cheney (torture, torture, torture) to deflect attention from Pelosi and only say that she has stuck to her same story (lie).
"In her appearance on Leno Wednesday, the elder McCain also had some harsh words for liberal television host Keith Olbermann.
'I, myself, can?t figure out that type of person who really more or less gets joy out of denigrating people. I?m just not that type of person, I don?t have friends like that, and thank God I am not around people like him.'"

ROBERTA McCAIN, TONIGHT'S WORSE PERSON IN THE WORLD!
I wish I had known she was on "The Tonight Show." I would have recorded that on DVR, too, along with "The Late Show." Robin Williams was on there. It was great because they somehow avoided talking about politics.
Bill O'Reilly's new column is title Unchaining Cheney. The last two paragraphs may lead to Another O'Reilly Attack...unless it doesn't:
"So the vengeance-minded far left is bereft. They so want to 'get' Bush and Cheney, but now their dreams of revenge show trials are vanishing quicker than MSNBC's ratings.
And to make matters even worse—Dick Cheney may be the one getting revenge."
Take a look at this story that is currently in the Olbermann Flood and in the Thursday Cable News Links and Open Thread post at J$P. The story features another one of Keith's "anyone who says that is a liar" rebuttals.
WTF, Wednesday's ratings? How can I, Keith Olbermann, come in third place in the all-important key 25-54 demographic at 8:00 and 10:00?
Keith came in a distant second in total viewers at 8:00, and third in total at 10:00. Good night and good luck.
