Listen and enjoy as John Gibson picks apart new A-Mess NBC hire Dylan Ratigan's debut appearance on The Hour of Spin. Then use this thread to recap tonight's skulduggery from Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann. Comments are open!
During the bright blue scr- madness that turned out to be a hit job on John Gibson, John said "Thank God for Johnny Dollar" who had video of what John really said when that weasel tech reporter dubbed Trace Gallagher's words over John. Well, thank God for John Gibson.
Oh my, I was dying off of that.
" we at the White House love MSNBC "
" Then take Bristol's advice, and wait to have sex with it "
lol, that was good. But Bill-o last night hit the nail on the head as to why I like Palin, cause the left-wing media hates her so much. If Olbermann wants to justify that he's reporting "the news" and continue the Palin rampage I'm all for it. Cause it really isn't helping him in the ratings.
you know if it were ANY DEMOCRATIC'S daughter, MSNBC wouldn't cover it, citing respecting the family's privacy.
But since it's the Palin family, it's all guns firing. PALIN MUST BE DESTROYED!!!
These a$$holes sicken me!
Lafinman, is "anyyhing" really helping KO and his Motley crue get better ratings? Princess Madcow is now right around 800,000 per night and Princes Edward is around 500,000. great Move Phill why not add another X Err American falied lap dog host to fill another hour on your dying network.
I'm sure we'll get a ratings update from KO one of these days. Last mention of ratings was his and Mandow's shows were the most profitable last year ( I'm sure all the GE ads helped a lot ) But that was about profit margins, not viewers, unless you count the time he said they were both the #1 shows in cable news prime time because FNC doesn't matter.
But for now he should try focusing on actually working 5 days a week.
GE bought airtime on FNC this week, and probably weeks to come. As O'Reilly pointed out Monday night in Reality Check, the reason the FNC took the ads is because the network (FNC, not NBCU) believes in capitalism and free speech. Nonetheless, they will continue any criticisms they have with the company and NBC Universal. And those are my words in that last sentence.
Meanwhile, a Kool-aid alert in "Factor" viewer e-mail based on last night's Top Story segment:
Randy Carmichael, Stanford U.: "Bill, your statement that Ann Coulter 'got' Joy Behar with the waterboarding/abortion comment was brilliant! So people in favor of capital punishment should volunteer for execution? The Factor is unintentional comedy."
Bill's response: "You know, I'm glad I can supply mirth to you and your Kool-aid crowd."
I'm sure Randy loves Keith and his Billo [Ding!] and Ted Baxter shtick.
Tonight, I'll leave all segments but WPitW to the rest of you to recap. So, let's begin dissecting #2: The Personally Attack People We Disagree With Minute. Oh, I'm sorry, The Media Matters Minute. Tonight, all Fox, all the time.
Worse was Sean Hannity. Blue blog source: The Queen Bee herself. Once again, Keith "Rip 'n Read" Olbermann goes to bat for Newshounds. Never mind the attack Keith laid out. Let's just post the segment. Here you go.
Worser was Another O'Reilly Attack. Attack, rinse, repeat, eh, Supergeniusmann? Blue blog source: Media Matters. He's up to bat for Media Matters again, too. That Randy Carmichael-beloved (I assume) Billo [Ding!] and Ted Baxter shtick reared their ugly heads. "... Billo the Clown [Ding!] reading the Talking Points [Ding!] again. Now, he just reads what Bill Hemmer reads in the morning, for Godsake." Heil Ratigan, right, Keith? In the Baxter voice, Frank Caliendomann totally misrepresented what Bill said in Tuesday night's Impact segment. The segment featured a debate with Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, Keith's ideological brother from another mother. The misrepresentation had Bill unhappy that a new hate crime bill, currently being debated in the Senate, would include protection for pedophiles, but not military. Yet Another Olbermann Lie. In the segment, both Bill and Dr. Hill agreed that military did not need to be included in the bill. And pedophiles won't be included, either. Keith pointed that out as if his Olbsession had no idea...and as if Bill was talking to himself. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is a "bogus congressman." O'Reilly denied there were homeless vets!
Worst was Glenn Beck. Harold Hill! [Ding!] Blue blog source...no, you're kidding me. Again? Yes. It's Ellen again! Keith peddled another OlbyLie that on yesterday's Glenn Beck program, Glenn shut Scott Levenson's mic off and ended the segment. His mic was shut off, but then turned back on and the segment continued. According to Glenn and his staff, as was repeated today in The One Thing, Levenson asked Glenn in commercial if he hates black people. For the rest of the story, watch The One Thing beginning with 6:22 left.
Back on OlbyPlanet, "GOP Talking Points [Ding!]." "Levenson, frankly, beat the *crap* out of Beck." Well, that *is* the far-left consensus. Then, after reading in that quiet voice Glenn pointing out that Levenson hit on his producer in the green room, Keith replied: "This is the kind of freedom of speech that Glenn Beck wears like a personal flag. Freedom of speech...for *him*. The people he lies about, smears, misquotes, cries over [Ding!], threatens, makes up quotes from, no free speech for them. They are free to *hear* him talk about them...after the break. (quiet voice): Glenn Beck, today's Worst Person in the World."
Remember, that's "Countdown," where freedom of speech for the host and his 100% agreeable guests is worn "like a personal flag." The people Keith "lies about, smears, misquotes," uses theatrical indignation and faux outrage for, "threatens, makes up quotes from, no free speech for them." Say something he and his far-left brethren disagrees with, BAM! You're attacked personally and viciously. If this doesn't personify Olbypocrisy, I don't know what does.
Again, I recommend The One Thing.
#1 MANNY BEING MANNY.
God Almighty! Assholebermann cannot even cover a simple sports story any more without injecting the same idiotic 3rd grader drivel as his pals Mustow, Garafalo, Maher, et al. They're like little 10 year old boys whispering in a corner about seeing a girl's bra straps...and then giggling like LITTLE GIRLS about their new-found knowledge.
UN-effing-WATCHABLE ! ! !
Too bad Beck's producer had Levenson on her voice mail.
" Glenn fights like a little girl....call me. " Smooth man real smooth.
Everytime you think Meltdown can't get any lower, it sinks more and more. This is the left. Be proud democrats, be very proud.
The absolute worst Worst Person in the World of the year!!!
Well folks, this man is truly a work of art, and you have to wonder how much longer it will take people to seriously organize to get him in ANY kind of trouble, or worse. Then again, honestly, I think we're learning pretty quickly how its not about ratings anymore but GE and BHO propaganda on those networks.
Anyway, enjoy this facebook profile of the pathetic one.

I'm confused. Ratigan states, as a fact, that Bristol Palin's appearance on the morning shows is a part of The Republican Party agenda for America. Where is the evidence that that is the case?
Have Repulbican Party leaders publically commented on Bristol Palin's actions recently?....Representatives, Senators, former nominees for President or VP, President Bush or VP Cheney? Has Michael Steele been on to push this agenda Ratigan discussed with Olbermann? How about Huckabee or Romney?
Was Governor Palin on with her daughter? Has she been vocal regarding this agenda these last several days? Was this the focus of her work recently in Alaska?
So, MSNBC once again provides "reporters" stating "facts" about Republican Party priorites and plans without any evidence.
The real agenda that is being driven here is the attempt to marginalize an entire thoughtful and patriotic group of Americans through derision, hate speech and/or lies.
Another "quality" voice is being added to the chorus....oh goodie.
Another "journalist" without ethics, intellectual honesty or compassion, Mr. Ratigan will make a good addition to the bottom feeders of our media elite....the D listers who await their payday for blindly supporting a radical strain of America that needs such garbage to hoodwink the uninformed, lazy and intolerant.
Those less than 1 million viewers have such good things in store for them.
Dylan and Olby trash a teen
Miss Musto hates the beauty queen
"The Leg" and Madcow
NBC will allow
Their "news" to be tabloid obscene
When will these nuts at NBC finally get it? I'm trying, mercilessly, continuously to understand the liberal mind. Unlike most things in my life, I'm failing miserably.
They seem to think that they can do or say anything without reprise, and when caught, they use the fact that the media will simply ignore their actions or hypocrisy, and they act as if it simply never happened. Keith Olbermann is the primary example of this type of behavior, and now, as you are all saying, GE/NBC is following suit by continuing to hire these failures; of journalism, life, what have you...
Added on top of all this thoughtless and ignorant dialogue, you throw in the childishness of their comments (Dick!, Prejean, TeaBaggers, Boner, etc.), and you have Nickelodeon meets MTV, with a toddler anchoring segments night after night about how much he hates kids in the grades above him...
Fox, and maybe some other news outlets have this figured out, and though their bias may be clear, they are consistent in the fact they cover topics important to the people of this country, instead of to the libs at the KOS.
The whole time, they think they are actually doing good in this world, that even when they clearly know (they have to), that they are distorting every part of their selected topic, it's Okay, because no matter how much it may skew, they are the ones portraying, and they, unlike anyone else in this country, are always right.
Enough, don't grind your own coffee beans, it's too good...
As I said in the Wednesday thread, welcome aboard, Ryder.
In the Olbermann Flood right now, there is a link to this week's NewsBusted video with Jodi Miller. One of the jokes involved the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann. The joke comes at 1:31 in. "Keith Olbermann has been given a new salary of $7.5 million a year. And given his low ratings, MSNBC has officially made...the Worst Business Decision in the World!!!" Or have they? They've certainly sold their souls. That's for sure.
Where are my manners? The NewsBuster video.
Stephen Colbert also took a cue from the Newspoodles and attacked Sean Hannity last night over that Tree of Liberty commentary. I watched the full video that I linked to earlier. I'm no fan of Sean, but that wasn't so bad, even though it was lengthy.
I wonder is there's a Special Comment coming soon...
I think I may be coming around somewhat on Sean. I'll see.
A Special Comment on what?
I'm pretty sure Hannity is a borderline propagandist. Which I guess is better than an actual propagandist.
Olbermann will be gleeful tonight....For once in his career, a "RESIGN!" demand from him actually happened.....

Oh well, the photos from the $300K scare-force-one fiasco needed a scapegoat and distraction. President Obama sure is a new kind of pol.
VERO POSSUMUS!
Uh Oh, another headline tempting to the bottom feeder Olbermann...and bonus!....it combines his obsession with Sarah Palin and his latest misogynist itch, Miss California.....
Palin "Supports" Prejean, Dad Claims
"In addition to Palin, the proud father also claimed that Prejean had been receiving well-wishes from an even more unbelievable source.
"'The gay and lesbian community has been supportive of Carrie,' he says, despite mounting public evidence to the contrary. 'It's just been overwhelming.
"'Everyone comes up to Carrie and says, 'We may not agree with you, but we respect you for what you say and these individuals do not.' And they're very emphatic. 'Do not represent the gay and lesbian community.''"

Boy oh boy, COUNTDOWN with Keith Olbermann almost writes itself. So predictable, so repeatative, so unoriginal.
The NY Daily News and E Online are not blue blogs, but I'm sure some blue blog has reported the E story. I just can't find one in a Google or Google News search. I see gossip sites, but no HuffPo, Kos, TP, or MM, C&L, or Raw Story.
I *do* see Thursday's ratings and here they are. At 8PM, KO was a distant 2nd in total viewers, and 3rd in the 25-54 and 35-64 demos. At 10PM, 3rd in all three demos. Yep, attacking Hannity, O'Reilly, and Beck was a great idea.
I read Thursday's transcript. Not only did Keith attack Sean for the Liberty tree, he also went after him brought up Sean's thoughts on Pres. Obama at the burger joint, and taunted him about "waterboarding for charity [Ding!]." Buy into the momentum, Phil Griffin? What momentum?
By the way, I prefer plain hamburgers or cheeseburgers, which I'll likely be having in a few weeks on Memorial Day.
Correction: ...he also brought up Sean's thoughts...
"One image alone was released from the expensive photo op that terrified New Yorkers last month. Out of God only knows how many images taken during the mission, only one was chosen. It speaks powerfully to the American public — in symbolic language.
"The ominous and imposing aircraft dominates the scene in such a way that, in gestalt parlance, no one could mistake the figure for the ground. The figure is an aircraft that serves as Air Force One, representing the Messianic omnipotence of the Obama presidency. Below it, part of the background — a small and less relevant thing in comparison to the aircraft — stands the Statue of Liberty, representing the individual freedoms that Americans have come to treasure and enjoy.
"The message and its purpose could not be clearer: we must reset our priorities. Now that the democracy is at last headed by this magnificent and elegant man, we must put the federal government and its needs ahead of our paltry individual freedoms. Of what value, after all, is the property Americans have spent their lifetimes to acquire, or one’s right to defend oneself with a firearm, or even the privilege of living in an upwardly mobile society that used to be the envy of the rest of the world, in comparison to the Leader’s magnificently powerful icon, glistening like a phoenix in the sun?"

I highly recommend reading the rest of the essay.
Anyway, as Obama and his administration continue to blame the 2010 deficit on George Bush...
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/White-House-forecasts-higher-rb-15199206.html?.v=3
...remember who has ALL the power now (the left), who used to claim absolute moral indignation over previous federal executives (Olbermann), and what their behavior is now.
VERO POSSUMUS!
