This only goes to show how low of a network a mess nbc is. Bowing to this idiot savior of theirs is going to smack themselves in the forehead soon as this country's worst president is taking us in the wrong direction. Not only does Barrack Obama talk our country down while overseas, he's pissing away everything this country stands for. This administration along with A mess nbc and the liberal media are too weak to talk about the soldier who was gunned down in Arkansas by a BLACK turned MUSLIM. Talk about having an agenda there Olby, OSAMBA, and the rest of you liberal jack clowns. And YES, I typed obama's new nickname above correctly. This clown of a president does not have the balls to get things right. His latest diatribe of how this country has one of the highest head counts of muslims is a total misleading statement and nowhere near the truth. This country is mostly populated with Christians and Jews. At the pace of this idiots agenda, there is no wonder that gun sales are skyrocketing and ammo can't be found..... I wonder why? It's time to take back our country and kick this bum out of the WHITE HOUSE.

Not to nitpick, as I am in agreement with your basic premis SoCal, but the populations of the groups you mentioned are as follows: Christians 85%...Jewish...1.7% and Muslim .07%. Of course in Obama's mind the .07% means the majority of Americans are Muslim. Maybe he *wishes* they were the majority, as I find it very hard to believe he could be that stupid to make such a dumb comment.

Just happened to have the hated network on this morning. Col. Jack Jacobs, medal of honor, etc. was being interviewed. Can't remember the newsreaders name. Just recall Imus threw her off his show for being a smartass about the stuff he does at his ranch. At any rate Jacobs was being asked about an answer to a question from Williams to his Holiness regarding Iran and nukes. Jacobs listened to the answer and was extemely, and in my view correctly, critical because Obama was trying to stake out negotiating positions via the media. The newsreader almost had heart failure. How could you Col. Jack criticize the anointed one? It was very funny. Jacobs is a gentlemen and didn't come right out and tell her she was a moron, but he could have easily made the case. It is oh so natural for the true believers to defend him at every turn regardless of his bonehead mistakes.

Well, he did make that statement and it has been circulating pretty heavily around the conservative media. Hannity just had a clip of Osamba saying " We are NOT a Christian Nation".

On my way back from Harrisburg I had NPR on. And even THEY called him on it!

So, nobody watched. Okay.

I didn't watch the Olby tonight...I'm taking the rest of the week off. I know I will get bored and look at some clips on the website. It's like a car accident, you know it's gonna be bad but you can't help but take a look.

Yeah I didn't watch, finally installed the wall switch for my garage door opener. It seemed more important IMHO.

I have started watching the last five minutes of KO. Only. That is the funniest part. Lately, I have also found it hilarious to see how serious an expression Rach has on her face. (She is just torn up about the Tillerectomy)

Not only was KO unhappy that GWB read books...but he was upset because they leaned toward history and biographies. He claimed that if Bush had read fewer books he would have had time to read the heads up on the Twin Towers attack.

I swear, when Olby uses the bathroom, does he use the paper to wipe his mouth?

I can't help but to write about the complete shit that is story #3. I thought #1 was completely unwatchable but #3 is beyond a doubt the most mundane unimaginative drivel ever to hit the airwaves. WHO WATCHES THIS CRAP?

He had on Richard Wolffe (I know, what a shock!) talking about his new book "Renegade". BTW "Renegade" synonyms in the dictionary are: traitor, deserter, betrayer, and dissenter. At least one part of his book isn't fiction - the frickin' TITLE.

The insightful banter goes on and on and on and on - Sarah Palin can see the book from her house- LOL LOL how clever especially because a washed up comedienne not Palin said it - sort of like "Jobs Saved" mantra.

The kicker was when Boycottmann said, "It was Mr. Obama's idea that you should write this book (gee, I wonder if it's a teabagging viewpoint) do you know if he read it'?

WTF!?! #1 segment droned on and on and on about the fact that Obama has been reading the SAME DAMN BOOK FOR THREE MONTHS!!!

I'm sure Wolffe's book will do as well as Olbermann's 2007 book "Truth and Consequences" which sells for 80 cents on Amazon.

On O'Rielly segment with Miller last night you could see a guy (Bill) that has allot of personality and fun. And Olby - pure sophomoric snark with the personality of roadkill.

So, I caught the WPITW last night where he picked on Rush Limbaugh again. I guess they added this little graphic of Rush dancing or whatever whenever they pick on him.

So Keith starts playing this video of Rush asking how many Muslims have won the Nobel prize. And I'm thinking it's going to be another Rush the Racist bit. But no. Keith then throws up a quote from two years ago about Rush ripping the Nobel Prize committee for picking Al Gore, and saying the Nobel Prize has lost its credibility.

So Rush is WPITW for being a hypocrite about the Nobel Prize, extoling its virtues now when it suits him to bash Muslims.

Very clever nitpicking on KO's part. See, he shows Rush's clip, and then he summarizes it with his own interpretation about Rush talking about achievements in peace, and then plays the clip about Rush bashing the Al Gore win. So yes, Rush seems like a hypocrite, but only when compared to Olby's erroneous distorted summary of the video clip.

See, I think Rush was picking on the Nobel Peace Prize specifically back then. See, the different prizes are picked by different committees. The Peace Prize is selected by the Norwegian Nobel Committee (I think Rush said they were Swedes, cuz the other prizes are picked by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, but KO missed that gaffe and didn't call him on it).

So, in 2007 Rush was picking on the Peace Prize committee, but the recent clip was about the achievements in the scientific prizes, which are selected by a different committee. But Keith had to lump them all together to create his attack (which is probably why Rush's actual gaffe slipped through his radar).

So two statements about two different segments of the Nobel Prize — the horrible Peace Prize committee and the more credible scientific prizes — were purposely conflated by KO. Overlooking the fact that he did this on purpose to attack Rush (or maybe not on purpose, if he's really just stupid), what about the fact that he's conveying this false information to his viewers? MSNBC likes to extol the theory Countdown is #1 with the 18-34 crowd, which while a small audience, when compared to other demos it must mean that most college-age viewers prefer Olbermann. So, not only do many get an (undoubtedly) crappy education from wherever they are going, but KO just adds to the ignorance.

No wonder this country is in such bad shape.

I know this is completely off topic but i liked it so i thought id mention it. Im an avid comic book reader and i picked up the latest issue of Amazing Spiderman #595. Within it, Peter Parker is talking about Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin and how much a bad guy he is, A woman that Peter works with says that "Righteous hostility is so hot. Take me out to dinner and lets go punch Nancy Pelosi in the face."

It was kinda strange to see this within a marvel comic since they pimped the Obama/Spiderman issue so much and i see dozens of copies left over on the shelf unsold.

cjflan32, i did see the similarities. since it was off topic i didnt go into it too much. it was just funny to see something such as a comic company that has taken a liberal stance lately not keep a writer in check with a comment like that. Im suprised their Editor in Chief didnt put a check on it.
