And he took offense that one of the top 3 WPITW made a remark about Keith's "dozen" viewers, and cited "The Nielsen Company estimates that we had around 1.2 million viewers" that night. Wait, why aren't you mentioning O'Reilly's audience, Keith?

Let me just start by saying this...Olby is so threatened by Sarah Palin. Why else would you devote so much time trying to destroy her? She represents the working class, middle America ideals that Olby and his Manhattan friends despise. With that said, the #1 story was Palin vs. Letterman. This is what Letterman said about Sarah Palin in his Top 10 list, "Bought makeup at Bloomingdales to update her slutty flight attendant look." He then went on to say this about her 14 year old daughter, "One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked-up by Alex Rodriguez."

If that weren't enough, Olby had this to say about Letterman's comments:

"David Letterman has now admitted to being guilty of poor taste in jokes about Governor Sarah Palin's daughter but he insists the jokes were not about her 14 year old daughter but rather the 18 year old." Here we go. Olby has to defend Letterman FIRST. Who cares which daughter he was referring to. Why attack children in the first place?

Then he brings on Craig Crawford who laughs like a school girl at the end of each sentence who stated, "...she has definitely sought some political advantage here, Keith, there's no getting around that". I don't know that she was even personally that offended as much...I think she was probably secretly THRILLED to be in the top 10 of Letterman."

So Sarah Palin was not offended about sexual jokes toward her daughter (either daughter), she was THRILLED that Letterman attacked her by saying she has a "slutty flight attendant look" and she was only using this moment for political advantage. I'm sorry, but are you f*cking kidding me???

The comments under the post are very revealing about what many Olbermann apologists tried to do with the event. Again, the political and "image" ramifications seemed to be at work there and once again, Olbermann uses the event as a prop for his current tirades.

The tendency to use tragic, breaking news events to further an agenda is a well known quanity of Olbermann's craft. The anti-Semitic attack yesterday was from a "right-winger" who also had a history of anti-Christian rants. However that aspect of the man's history would go against the quick connection Olbermann tried to make to the Tiller murder, so it was left out.

Wednesday's ratings: At 8:00, Keith was a strong, but still distant, second in the 25-54 demo, and equidistant in total viewers. At 10:00, Victimmann was fourth in 25-54 and third in total. Ha!
