John Gibson asks the question of the hour: if you use applied OlbyLogic, why isn't Bathtub Boy responsible for yesterday's assassination of a US soldier? Ponder this philosophical paradox as you listen to Gibby lay it all out. Then get ready to recap the non-stars on tonight's Hour of Spin right here. Comments are open!
The only thing wrong with the sign the ape ruler is holding is #3 under both outrageous and acceptable as they should read: kill killer of 60,000 unborns, and kill defender of America.
60,000! Hopefully when olbermann dies his hell will be in him getting slaughtered over and over again before he is born up to the amount of 60,000. Maybe if he cared just a little about the slaughtering of the innocent's he'd put that into perspective before he tried to condemn one who does care?
No, no he wouldn't. Just like his fake outrage over Bill and the Alexus Foundation, this is just another outlet to vent his anger over Bill being sensible and he not understanding anything even close to compassion. I mean he can't even FAKE any outrage over some doctor slaughtering 60,000 unborn babies, but he sure didn't waste any time in going after Bill for attacking this same murderer.
Somebody said it on the other thread, that he's getting very very close to that edge, and since there doesn't seem to be anybody holding him back we may just get to see him go over soon. Hopefully, very soon.
Where the hell have the priorities of this country gone? Just because abortion is a law, does that mean that the moral integrity of a nation must be tossed aside as well? God! Where I used to live abortions were as common place as seeing the doctor for a head cold, and now the outrage over some guy who pulled the trigger on the doctor who performed thousands of them!?
Sadly, I may have answered my own question, because it appears that the general public can't differentiate from the doctor who aids people with their colds from the one who makes sure there is no chance to ever have one.

Don't fret Wolverine they get it, most folks I talked to yesterday got it. The MSM was leaving out a few things like 'late term'. Some were even leaving out 'abortion' (imagine that).
Just throw those few things in left out by the MSM, and even my pro-choice friends had a different view. Nobody is into a few days before delivery abortion.
Just like the soldier that was killed by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad . The MSM is doing a great cover-up, that even if you hear about it. You don't hear his name. Oh man, has that been getting a great big WTF from folks I've been talking to.
Well, at least Texas is getting the right idea...

the ape ruler.... I love that! Keep that s*** up man! That Rocks!
Ahhh I just clicked off ms.huffington is on..the only person wrose then KO hiimself its like fingernails on a chalkboard!!! AHHHH
Well what do we have here.....

The fugitive from the Jersey Diner is on? I refuse to watch! right now I'm watching Cubs/Braves.
I'll catch the clip later.
OK KO just said a lot of crap, saying he is #1 18-34? I thought it was 18-25? I never have head of 18-34? and #2 overalll? Can someone check this out?
Great minds think alike....wise people arrive at similar judgements....
Tonight on THE FACTOR, O'Reilly questioned whether the anti-war demogogues like Keith Olbermann are responsible for Private Long's murder....he came down, like I did as well as any other clear thinking, compassionate and open minded person would, to a no....but using Olbermann logic....well....we know we would have to hold Olbermann responsible! What a world!
Has anyone yet heard President Obama condemn the attack on the recruiters? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?
And I was just amused by Olbermann's gloating about COUNTDOWN being the #1 cable news show for those young people, 18-34....
Oh boy!....Do you know how many people that was?....118,000 young people! WOW!....CONGRATULATIONS!
But let us not forget the big number....TOTAL VIEWERS.....CNN + MSNBC
Aw....it looks like the boycott is a pretty big order. Good luck with that.
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
That should have been TOTAL VIEWERS....CNN + MSNBC less than FNC.
Not a word from the deplorable one on PFC Long's murder. I'm not surprised because he couldn't rip it off from Media Matters, Daily Kos or The Huffington Post. He did not bring it up because if he commented on it he knew he would get hammered for the hypocrite he really is. He put his giant ego above the death of a United States soldier. If this doesn't give you some insight into this "man's" lack of character...nothing will.
Has KO ever heard of the Una-Bomber? Now there is a right wing nut..Opps I mean left wing..what about the wacko Left wing enivionmeantlist terrosits that blow up car dealerships and inbead metal into tress so when they are cut down by a lumberjack, well you know what happends...these are just a few examples of far left wing fantatics.
Of relevance, viewer e-mails on the Olbsession's show:
Kyle Richardson, Fort Worth, TX: "Mr. O'Reilly, thank you for saying the murder of Dr. Tiller was wrong. Thank you, also, for letting America know that what he did was evil."
Sarah Weir, Watertown, NY: "My condolences to the Tiller family, no one deserves to be murdered. And thank you, Mr. O'Reilly, for pointing out that 60,000 fetuses will never have a chance to become American citizens."
Brett Wezlaff, Des Plaines, IL: "Mr. O'Reilly, how can you be sure tghat reciting 'Tiller the baby killer' over and over again did not inflame the assassin?"
Bill's response: "The doctor was involved in a criminal case. I *reported* what groups were calling him. I reported accurately."
Ed Bruner, Olathe, KS: "Bill, your tirades against Tiller are no different than religious zealots who preach hate on street corners."
(MC editorial: Brett and Ed must be Olby viewers.)
Helen Malley, Bradenton, FL: "I pray the Lord will show more mercy to Tiller than he did 60,000 unborn babies."
Nathan Barr, Northampton, MA: "Bill, I am a pro-life kid. Which side are you on?"
Bill's response: "I am on the side of justice, Nathan. I always look out for the kids. I believe all life is precious."
Meredith Coolidge, Naples, FL: "Bill, you are clearly right about the rule of law. I have never heard you advocate lawlessness. You have courageously taken on the cause of children at risk."
Keri Jenkins, Andover, KS: "Mr. O'Reilly, you continue to go after Dr. Tiller even in death. Shame on you."
Bill's response: "No shame here. We are reporting the situation truthfully."
(MC editorial: Another Olby viewer.)
Michael O'Byrne, County Donegal, Ireland: "Bill, I commend you on your coverage of Tiller. It has been fair and balanced."
Seon Ferguson, Canberra, Australia: "Bill, I am a left-winger but am denouncing the way the left is using his brutal murder for their own political agenda."
Thanks for reading.
Here is video of tonight's Talking Points Memo (transcript) and Top Story segment with Glenn Beck. From the end of the T-Points transcript:
"...here is Mr. Immelt's email address:
jeffrey.immelt@ge.com
...and his mailing address at the General Electric Company:
3135 Easton Turnpike
Fairfield, CT 06828
In light of the Tiller situation and other hateful attacks from NBC News, I would like you to write a ***respectful*** note to Immelt letting him know how you feel. Again, he is the man in charge. All of NBC's misdeeds ... are on him.
If we could get a hundred thousand notes to Immelt, maybe he'd wise up... and that is the memo."
With humble appologies to Frank Sinatra..
He's Flipped!! out of his skull,
totally nuts, this gas bags lost it
His ratings continue circuling
the neilsen toilet
His act is getting old
Each show he does loses viewers
but more, much more than this
he cant beat FOX NEWS
there was a time,long ago
when he anchored ESPN SportsCenter
Then came the folks at MSNBC
Remeber his meltdown due to Lewinski
he left his gig for Fox Sports Net
but couldnt handle it!
He lies, and uses Kos as gospel
cant you see how big his nose grows
And so , as ratings fall
he cant beat BILLLLLLLL O!
To think, his ratings stink
and may I say ..he's so delusional
Go away,bathtub boy
You cant beat FOX NEWS
For Keith Olbermann , you are a fraud
youre being creamed at 9 ,by your olberbroad
That load of crap you nighty spew,
as the viewers switch over to FNC
The ratings show "COUNTDOWN" BLOWS
'CAUSE YOU CANT BEAT O REILLY!!!!!
You cant beat ...FOX NEWS
Here's the best I can find:
http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/may_ratings_msnbc_tops_cnn_again_in_prime_time_117961.asp#more
From the MSNBC release...
· MSNBC is the #1 news network among younger viewers, Adults 18-34, in weekday primetime (93,000), M-Su primetime (89,000), and in M-Su sales prime (7 p.m.-2 a.m., 72,000). "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" was the #1 show at 8 p.m. in A18-34 (118,000).
This is the only place I can find it, so. As They say.
Consider the source.
I sent a letter to Immelt basically saying (with respect) that MSNBC is the laughing stock of the journalism world. To sit there and let Olbermann/Maddow blame a man and a network for inciting the murder of Dr. Tiller is outrageous.
This is the reason MSNBC's ratings and GE's stock is in the toilet.
If it's on the internet it must be true!!!
Funny that Olby gloats about a ratings win on the same night tvbythenumbers.com runs a story about Olby posting his worst numbers of the year in 25-54. Down 30% since Jan. I am sure someone can link to the story.
Here you go:
http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/06/02/coutdown-with-keith-olbermann-posts-lowest-ratings-of-the-year-in-may/19862
I would like to know O'Reilly's numbers during the same period to know whether a decline was across the board or limited to Olbermann.
It's good to see the leader be honest about the roles his congregants play in "informing," the nation.....
"I generally don't [stop and watch]. Mainly because I don't find most of the cable chatter very persuasive. I've used this analogy before, it feels like WWF wrestling. Everybody's got their role to play. I know a lot of these guys. And if Pat Buchanan is having a conversation with Chris Matthews or talking to Keith Olbermann, everybody's got their set pieces and, so, I don't feel as if I'm learning anything from the debate."
http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/politics/pres_obama_i_dont_find_most_of_the_cable_chatter_persuasive_117996.asp
###
The problem is that Keith Olbermann does not debate anyone, he simply converses with other zealots from the left.
Obama would not learn anything from MSNBC because it is all repeated talking points from him and his administration anyway.
They do have their "set pieces," so Obama is being transparent there. What a nice change.
I wonder if Obama has publically condemned the murder of Private Long yet....Anyone know?
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
Keith lies about his bad rating
Beat O'Reilly? We're still waiting
Keith's viewers? Almost none
Yet claims he's number one
When his Nielsen numbers are fading
Muted Mongrel prediction tonight on COUNTDOWN....
"Obama said he wanted to 'create a better dialogue so that the Muslim world understands more effectively how the United States but also how the West thinks about many of these difficult issues like terrorism, like democracy, to discuss the framework for what's happened in Iraq and Afghanistan and our outreach to Iran, and also how we view the prospects for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians".
[...]
"But then, as is his habit , Obama turned the concept around. 'Now, the flip side is I think that the United States and the West generally, we have to educate ourselves more effectively on Islam.
"'And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the LARGEST MUSLIN COUNTERIES in the world. And so there's got to be a better dialogue and a better understanding between the two peoples.'"
http://tinyurl.com/p78dh6
###
Ok, sure Obama...The United States is "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world?"
Um, no...once again the MSM reported "brilliant" chief executive reveals his true ignorance and lack of intelligence....
"The excellent Don Surber crunches the numbers and points out that Obama's claim is highly dubious. According to Surber, the US has an estimated three to eight million Muslims, less than one per cent of the world's total and less than at least 23 other countries.
"The average claim for the US Muslim population is about six million. The precise figure is difficult to get because it's not included in US census data and many put the figure at much, much less.
"But even if we assume there are six million Muslims in the US, that makes it only the 34th biggest Muslim country in the world - behind Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Nigeria, China, Ethiopia, Algeria, Morocco, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Tanzania, Syria, Malaysia, Niger, Senegal, Ghana, Tunisia, Somalia, Guinea, Kenya, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso and Tajikistan."

So again, will Olbermann cover this gaffe like he covered every Bush gaffe?....Highly unlikely. The church of SNOBamessiah does not allow truth about the leader to be discussed....HE IS A BRILLIANT AND HIGHLY COMPETANT INDIVIDUAL, DAMMIT!
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
Check out this video of Olbermann's employee, Brian Williams, bowing to The Great Leader:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLYtHHxTTmc
SB_Mich,
WTF? Bowing to the president...what's next, kissing his ring and washing his feet????
SB_Mich and Brad,
Unfreakingbelievable. We all know what Olby would be kissing and washing.
I liked these observations over at HotAir.com:
"We made hay when Obama bowed to Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, and this feels almost as bad. Shouldn't the American media have more of a sense of separation, observance, and skepticism? All right, all right, stop laughing.
"Bonus question: If Williams bowed, what would Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews do to wish the President a good night? On second thought, I don’t want to know."
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/06/03/video-did-brian-williams-bow-to-barack-obama/
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
And speaking of "journalists" who are enamored with Obama, the following a from is a nice piece about the Obama butt-kissing, and COUNTDOWN regular, Richard Wolffe:
"At a book party at Washington's Café Atlantico Monday night, there were quail eggs and caviar but no Newsweek editors, who declined to speak on-the-record about Wolffe or his book.
"Some of his former colleagues grumble privately that the magazine gained little of news value from Wolffe’s access to Obama and his inner circle, and suggest he lost detachment as he became more enraptured by a politician with whom he shares personal and ideological sympathies."

Mike C. Immelt is playing a bigger game. He's giving the SUPER KIND pro-Obama coverage not for ratings. He knows the ratings for MSNBC and NBC are at a point to where nothing can help them. He doesn't care.
He's playing for the contracts for Cap and Trade and for national health care. Those can give GE BILLIONS! He gets those, MSNBC, Universal, Universal Cable and NBC all become loss leaders. It doesn't matter if they lose money, cause GE will get so much more with these government contracts.
I wrote and told him that I only watch three NBC programs. Told him there's a great chance that next season, it will be zero (the three are Law and Order, Law and Order:SVU [love Mariska Hargitay] and Poker After Dark).
Thing is that he doens't care. We no longer matter to him.
Wednesday on Countdown (in no particular order):
1) GOP/Sotomayer (Media Matters and Daily Kos)
2) Hysteria over Obama's overseas trip (Media Matters and Huffington Post)
3) Dr. Tiller is a martyr. (Media Matters)
4) Gay marriage legal in New Hampshire (Daily Kos and Huffington Post)
5) Dick Cheney (Daily Kos)
I could be totally off the mark but I think I will have a .600 batting average (3 out of 5).
I know, Syvyn. Sad.
Oh, those pesky ratings. At 8:00, Boycottmann came in a distant second in total viewers and third in the 25-54 demo. At 10:00, Quarantinemann came in third in both categories. But he's #1 among the kids and their colloquialisms and internet memes. Now, I'm in the 18-34 category, at the age of 27, but I watch the *true* #1.
Hey Mike, ain't it grand ol' truth to power's QUARANTINE is working so well?
The Ted Baxter voice will be back before the week is out.
Just a thought but you know back in the day Bozo The Clown & Soupy Sales were number one with the 18-34 category.
Only difference? They were entertaining.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv4_PDSa59E
Maybe if somebody would pie Olby he would get ratings.
It's great, Puck. :D
Just a thought but you know back in the day Bozo The Clown & Soupy Sales were number one with the 18-34 category....puck30
Funny you should mention Soupy Sales because when I was thinking of how close the ape ruler is getting to the edge, I remembered Sales getting suspended for going over the edge one time by telling his viewers (mostly young kids) to go into their daddies pockets to get money for some product Sales was pitching (he was also only saying it "tongue in cheek" with no malice intended, as opposed to the ape ruler who has nothing but bad intentions).
The only difference of course, was that may have been the only time Sales ever did anything close to being called "edgy" and yet olbermann does it more than once per show. He's got to over it sometime. He just has to.
And I agree, at least with the assessment of Sales value, as he was entertaining.
From Winki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soupy_Sales
The New Years Day Incident
On New Year's Day 1965, miffed at having to work on the holiday, Sales ended his live broadcast by encouraging his young viewers to tiptoe into their still-sleeping parents' bedrooms and remove those "funny green pieces of paper with pictures of U.S. Presidents" from their pants and pocketbooks. "Put them in an envelope and mail them to me," Soupy instructed the children. "And I'll send you a postcard from Puerto Rico!" He was then hit with a pie.
Several days later, a chagrined Soupy announced that money was unexpectedly being received in the mail. He explained that he had been joking and announced that unreturnable contributions would be donated to charity. As parents' complaints increased, WNEW's management felt compelled to suspend Sales for two weeks. Young viewers picketed Channel 5. The uproar surrounding Sales' suspension increased his popularity.
Sales describes the incident in his 2001 autobiography Soupy Sez! My Life and Zany Times.
I guess I should clarify Bozo. (there was soo many of them)
The Bozo (Bob Bell) that was on WGN in the 70's & 80's
Soupy on WNEW. Bozo & The Cubs on WGN, ah to be a kid when tv Rocked!
