Recently, Chris Matthews' sensitive, self-aware limb pronounced that "a wise, doughy leg with rich tingly experiences will always reach better conclusions than will a more tanned, muscular leg that hasn't felt those thrills."
This is why The Leg gave its most vigorous endorsement to Sonia Sotomayor for SCOTUS today. "I think the President (high approval ratings be upon him) made a brilliant choice," The Leg enthused.
"Empathy rules! We need justices who won't allow themselves to be constricted by trivialities like the actual words of the Constitution or the intent of elected lawmakers. We need judges who will make rulings based on whom they feel sorriest for."

From the tingle in Matthew's leg....to Olbermann's blindspot as he ignores Obama's gaffes, Bush imitation and broken promises...to the continued deification of the one by such notable, "journalists," like Evan Thomas....Despite it all...those with open and critical minds knew last summer what was to come.....
"But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed … when the roar of the crowd fades away … when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot — what exactly is our opponent’s plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he’s done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger … take more of your money … give you more orders from Washington … and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world…
"Taxes are too high … he wants to raise them. His tax increases are the fine print in his economic plan, and let me be specific.
"The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes … raise payroll taxes … raise investment income taxes … raise the death tax … raise business taxes … and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars…
"How are you going to be better off if our opponent adds a massive tax burden to the American economy?"

The esteemed journalists are not reporting the truth about the economy, the lack of stimulus that the spending has had, despite the promises by Obama, and of course there is the huge deficits that are expanding and will require tax increases on people making less than 250K/year.
Yes, remember that promise....no tax increases on people making less than 250K/year?
The tingles, the blindspots, the deification...they make no difference to me....they all just show silly sychophants trying to be relevant.
Too bad some believe they are actual journalists.
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
Uh Oh! It seems the Palins were at Yankee Stadium yesterday.
They were there as guests of the Giulianis after attending an Autism Speaks walkathon earlier in the day.
I'm sure the 'Rotund One' will have a statement on this.
How dare they enter 'Olby's House'!!!!!
LOL
"'I think Barack Obama would describe himself as a pragmatic leftist but he's not an extremist,' Murdoch said. 'I think he sees himself as a president for change and that involves bigger government. He's made no secret of that. I think that's dangerous.'"

Rupert Murdoch.....Tonight's WPITW? (With Olbermann's terrible priate voice imitation?)
Standby for pirate voice tonight and probably something saying that if they showed Palin and family on the screen at the stadium, they were probably booed and he'll make sure to note that. But you won't hear them say they booed if his fat mug was shown.
Then again "whale" boy might be in the hudson taking a bath.
Muted mogrel prediction tonight on COUNTDOWN:
"Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on six out of 10 key issues, including the top issue of the economy.
"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 45% now trust the GOP more to handle economic issues, while 39% trust Democrats more.
"This is the first time in over two years of polling that the GOP has held the advantage on this issue. The parties were close in May, with the Democrats holding a modest 44% to 43% edge. The latest survey was taken just after General Motors announced it was going into bankruptcy as part of a deal brokered by the Obama administration that gives the government majority ownership of the failing automaker.
"Voters not affiliated with either party now trust the GOP more to handle economic issues by a two-to-one margin.
"Separate Rasmussen tracking shows that the economy remains the top issue among voters in terms of importance.
"Republicans also now hold a six-point lead on the issue of government ethics and corruption, the second most important issue to all voters and the top issue among unaffiliated voters. That shows a large shift from May, when Democrats held an 11-point lead on the issue."

The above just does not jive with Olbermann's fantasyland filled with Obama's goodness and light. The above does not jive with reality....a continuing tanking economy despite billions of borrowed government money being thrown into the abyss and the promises of the democrats that it would get better. The above does not fit with the plans of the radical left in turning the country into the utopia they just know is THIS CLOSE to being reality!
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
The above DOES jive with reality....a continuing tanking economy despite billions of borrowed government money being thrown into the abyss and the promises of the democrats that it would get better.
My over/under for the breaking point with the American People is 10% unemployment.
Will he or won't he? It seems the Supreme Court threw a spike strip in front of the White House today.
Far-Right wing led Supreme Court WPITW????????
Evan Thomas thinks Obama's God
